•This scheme combines quantum computing and lightweight image encryption technology to improve the efficiency and security of Big data encryption.•First, we use the advantages of quantum computing to ...encrypt images in Big data using quantum lightweight image encryption algorithm.•Quantum lightweight image encryption algorithms can improve the efficiency of encryption and decryption by utilizing quantum parallelism and quantum search algorithms, while protecting sensitive information in images.
Given the limitations of current classic image encryption algorithms and the unconditional security characteristics of quantum key distribution protocols, the author proposes an image encryption method based on quantum key distribution and pixel scrambling. The author first analyzed the security issues of quantum image encryption algorithms based on image scrambling methods, namely that image scrambling methods have periodicity, which can ensure that the image can be restored after scrambling. If an image cannot be guaranteed to return to its original state after performing scrambling operations, legitimate users cannot obtain the secret information in the original image, and image scrambling loses its original meaning; However, the periodicity of image scrambling methods not only ensures that legitimate users can decrypt images, but also provides convenience for attackers to steal original image information. Secondly, it is pointed out that when evaluating and analyzing quantum image encryption algorithms, the evaluation indicators should include two parts: One is performance analysis, which is the analysis of the network complexity of quantum circuits. In quantum computing, the network complexity of quantum circuits is usually represented by the number of quantum basic logic gates. The second is security analysis, which mainly includes key analysis (including key space size and key sensitivity analysis), statistical analysis (including pixel correlation, histogram analysis, information fusion, and scatter plot distribution density analysis). Finally, experimental simulations have shown that the NPCR values of the plaintext and ciphertext images of the three images tend to 100%. The encrypted image histogram is evenly distributed, with very weak pixel correlation and high pixel change rate and information entropy.
Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is one of the most common surgeries performed to relieve joint pain in patients with end‐stage osteoarthritis or rheumatic arthritis of the knee. However, TKA is ...followed by moderate to severe postoperative pain that affects postoperative rehabilitation, patient satisfaction, and overall outcomes. Historically, opioids have been widely used for perioperative pain management of TKA. However, opioids are associated with undesirable adverse effects, such as nausea, respiratory depression, and retention of urine, which limit their application in daily clinical practice. The aim of this review was to discuss the current postoperative pain management regimens for TKA. Our review of the literature demonstrated that multimodal analgesia is considered the optimal regimen for perioperative pain management of TKA and improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, through a combination of several types of medications and delivery routes, including preemptive analgesia, neuraxial anesthesia, peripheral nerve blockade, patient‐controlled analgesia and local infiltration analgesia, and oral opioid/nonopioid medications. Multimodal analgesia provides superior pain relief, promotes recovery of the knee, and reduces opioid consumption and related adverse effects in patients undergoing TKA.
As an emerging form of comedy, stand-up comedy has developed rapidly and attracted widespread attention in various countries today through the production and dissemination mode of new media. In order ...to better understand the cultural characteristics of stand-up comedy and provide methodological inspiration for contemporary feminist public expression, this essay focuses on online stand-up comedy in China and the United States. Drawing on relevant theories from feminism, gender sociology, reception aesthetics, and communication studies, this essay uses textual close reading and comparative analysis to examine the expressive characteristics and reception mechanisms of women’s discourse in these two countries. Through analysis, this essay concludes that the female comedic discourse in China and the United States, which differs in perspective, expressive approach, and offense and its re-speaking, is repeatedly negotiating resistance or compromise at the intersection of the three influencing factors, namely, the diachronic socio-cultural traditions, the synchronic audience acceptance, and the external impact of the market and censorship.

Zeolites with well-defined micropores have been widely used as heterogeneous catalysts in the fields of petroleum refining, fine chemicals, and environment protection. However, the sole micropores in ...the zeolite structures usually impose diffusion constraints, which would greatly influence their catalytic performances. Therefore, it is highly desirable to shorten the diffusion pathway of zeolites and thus eliminate the diffusion constraints. One of the efficient methods is to synthesize zeolite nanosheets, which has become a hot topic in the past decades. In this tutorial review, the recent progresses in the synthesis of zeolite nanosheets and their relevant catalysis are briefly discussed. Various strategies for the synthesis of zeolite nanosheets are summarized including delamination, templated crystallization, additive-assisted synthesis, seed-directed synthesis, and gaseous expansion synthesis. In addition, the catalytic reactions of zeolite nanosheets with acidic and metal sites are also outlined. This tutorial review should be significant for the design and preparation of highly efficient zeolite catalysts.
This tutorial review briefly summarizes the recent progress in the synthetic strategies of zeolite nanosheets and their relevant catalytic applications.
When the in vitro research works of biosensing begin to mimic in vivo conditions, some certain three-dimensional (3D) structures of biosensors are needed to accommodate biomolecules, bacteria or even ...cells to resemble the in vivo 3D environment. To meet this end, a novel method of synthesizing CuO nanoflowers on the 3D graphene foam (GF) was first demonstrated. The 3DGF/CuO nanoflowers composite was used as a monolithic free-standing 3D biosensor for electrochemical detection of ascorbic acid (AA). The 3D conductive structure of the GF is favorable for current collection, mass transport and loading bioactive chemicals. And CuO nanoflowers further increase the active surface area and catalyze the redox of AA. Thus, all these features endows 3DGF/CuO composite with outstanding biosensing properties such as an ultrahigh sensitivity of 2.06mAmM−1cm−2 to AA at 3s response time.
•The synthesis of 3D graphene foam (GF)/CuO nanoflowers composite was proposed.•The 3DGF provides vast area and a well-organized conducting freestanding network.•CuO nanoflowers maximize the surface area, transfer electrons between 3DGF and AA.•3DGF/CuO has an ultrahigh sensitivity of 2.06mAmM−1cm−2 to AA.•3DGF/CuO could be a smart sensing platform to support cells and detect analytes.
This paper investigates the causal relationship between financial development and the urban–rural income gap in China. Using a bootstrap Granger panel causality analysis, the result indicates that ...financial development influences urban–rural income gap mainly in Eastern China. The high level of financial development in this region enables rural areas to increase its income. Our results also confirm the existence of the financial Kuznets curve in Eastern China where urban–rural income gap would be first increased and afterwards decreased by financial development. The financial development itself is not dependent on urban–rural income gap as it largely depends on government policies and economic growth.

Human hair and street dust from rural and urban areas in Chongqing were collected to analyze Organophosphate esters (OPEs) and phthalate esters (PAEs). Concentrations of OPEs in urban hair were ...significantly higher than those in rural hair, whereas PAEs concentrations in rural hair were significantly higher than those in urban hair. Different composition patterns of OPEs were observed in rural and urban hair, where tris (2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate (TCIPP), tris (butyl) phosphate (TNBP) and triphenyl phosphate (TPHP) were the dominating analogues in rural hair, accounting for 62.1% of the OPEs burden, and tris (methylphenyl) phosphate (TMPP) exhibited a high contribution in urban hair, responsible for 51.3% of total OPEs, which differed from the composition profiles in corresponding street dust. Analogous composition patterns of PAEs were found in hair of both areas. Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DNBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) and diethyl phthalate (DEP) were the most abundant analogues in hair samples, while DEHP was the predominant analogue in dust samples. No clear tendency was obtained between the increasing ages and the concentrations of both compounds. Most OPEs and PAEs congeners showed significantly positive correlation with one another in rural hair. On the contrary, different correlation patterns were observed in urban hair for OPEs and PAEs, indicating multiple or additional sources existed in urban areas. Significant correlations of OPEs and PAEs were found between hair and corresponding street dust samples, but poor correlations of OPEs and PAEs were observed between rural hair and rural indoor dust, suggesting that street dust may be a predominant exogenous source for human exposure to OPEs and PAEs in this area.
Display omitted
•PAEs in rural street dust was approximately 10 times higher than rural indoor dust.•Composition profiles of OPEs and PAEs in hair differed from corresponding dust.•No clear tendency of OPEs and PAEs along with ages was obtained.•Street dust may be the major exogenous contributor for residents exposure to OPEs and PAEs.
Different congeners patterns of OPEs and PAEs were demonstrated between hair and corresponding dust in rural and urban areas. Correlations and potential sources of OPEs and PAEs in human hair were demonstrated.
The architecture of inflorescence and the development of floral organs can influence the yield of seeds and have a significant impact on plant propagation. E-class floral homeotic MADS-box genes ...exhibit important roles in regulation of floral transition and differentiation of floral organs. Woad (
) possesses unique inflorescence, floral organs and fruit. However, very little research has been carried out to determine the function of MADS-box genes in this medicinal cruciferous plant species.
orthologs in
were cloned by degenerate PCR. The sequence possessing the highest identity with
and
of Arabidopsis were named as
and
, respectively. Constitutive expression of
in Columbia (Col-0) ecotype of Arabidopsis led to early flowering, and the number of the flowers and the lateral branches was reduced, indicating an alteration in architecture of the inflorescences. Moreover, the number of the floral organs was declined, the sepals were turned into carpelloid tissues bearing stigmatic papillae and ovules, and secondary flower could be produced in apetalous terminal flowers. In
transgenic Arabidopsis plants in Landsberg
(L
) genetic background, the number of the floral organs was decreased, sepals were converted into curly carpelloid structures, accompanied by generation of ovules. Simultaneously, the size of petals, stamens and siliques was diminished. In
transgenic plants of apetalous
double mutant in L
genetic background, the cauliflower phenotype was attenuated significantly, and the petal formation could be rescued. Occasionally, chimeric organs composed of petaloid and sepaloid tissues, or petaloid and stamineous tissues, were produced in
transgenic plants of
double mutant. It suggested that overexpression of
could restore the capacity in petal differentiation. Silencing of
by Virus-Induced Gene Silencing (VIGS) can delay the flowering time, and reduce the number and size of the floral organs in woad flowers.
All the results showed that
-like genes could influence the architecture of the inflorescence and the determinacy of the floral meristems, and was also related to development of the floral organs.
Curcumin, the active component of turmeric, has been shown to protect against carcinogenesis and prevent tumor development. However, little is known about its anti-tumor mechanism in small cell lung ...cancer (SCLC). In this study, we found that curcumin can inhibit SCLC cell proliferation, cell cycle, migration, invasion and angiogenesis through suppression of the STAT3. SCLC cells were treated with curcumin (15 µmol/L) and the results showed that curcumin was effective in inhibiting STAT3 phosphorylation to downregulate of an array of STAT3 downstream targets ,which contributed to suppression of cell proliferation, loss of colony formation, depression of cell migration and invasion. Curcumin also suppressed the expression of proliferative proteins (Survivin, Bcl-X(L) and Cyclin B1), and invasive proteins (VEGF, MMP-2, MMP-7 and ICAM-1). Knockdown of STAT3 expression by siRNA was able to induce anti-invasive effects in vitro. In contrast, activation of STAT3 upstream of interleukin 6 (IL-6) leads to the increased cell proliferation ,cell survival, angiogenesis, invasion, migration and tumor growth. Our findings illustrate the biologic significance of IL-6/JAK/STAT3 signaling in SCLC progression and provide novel evidence that the pathway may be a new potential target for therapy of SCLC. It was concluded that curcumin is a potent agent in the inhibition of STAT3 with favorable pharmacological activity, and curcumin may have translational potential as an effective cancer therapeutic or preventive agent for SCLC.

Self-powered implantable medical electronic devices that harvest biomechanical energy from cardiac motion, respiratory movement and blood flow are part of a paradigm shift that is on the horizon. ...Here, we demonstrate a fully implanted symbiotic pacemaker based on an implantable triboelectric nanogenerator, which achieves energy harvesting and storage as well as cardiac pacing on a large-animal scale. The symbiotic pacemaker successfully corrects sinus arrhythmia and prevents deterioration. The open circuit voltage of an implantable triboelectric nanogenerator reaches up to 65.2 V. The energy harvested from each cardiac motion cycle is 0.495 μJ, which is higher than the required endocardial pacing threshold energy (0.377 μJ). Implantable triboelectric nanogenerators for implantable medical devices offer advantages of excellent output performance, high power density, and good durability, and are expected to find application in fields of treatment and diagnosis as in vivo symbiotic bioelectronics.
