A media genesis as multimeaningfull phenomenon means its transformation from its initial function as a transmiter of a message and information into an active subject in the process of communication ...towards a powerful mean of critical opinion. On that road, from the role of information transmition, medias strengtened into a leading factor in shaping critical opinion of a recipient.A project is focused on a communication processes analysis within modern society, revealing dominant feeling of passive dependency of a media content by the recipient and media’s active role.During that process, information becomes antipodal entity, which abolishes the meaning and primarily serves as a reminder on an undisputed credibility transfered into a spectacle as an art expression. Within that process, recipient who is supposed to criticaly think about media content transforms into a muted and brainwashed consumer of everything that is presented by media.The art of spectacle becomes reality.
Viewed with an understanding of Josip Broz Tito’s personality and leadership,
Yugoslavia’s position during the Cold War is not difficult to comprehend, The political separation
from Stalin in 1948, ...determined a course for Yugoslav development that was different from that of
other socialist countries. This separation also caused Yugoslavia to seek allies outside of Europe.
That is how the Non-Aligned Movement was founded, as a unity of nations designed to ease the
tension between the Eastern and the Western blocs. Tito’s image as a liberator, statesman and a
party leader was the reason the Yugoslav people saw him as the stalwart of the Republic. It is also
what led him to be named president for life in 1974. The best Yugoslavian factories, schools,
military facilities and main streets of all the cities, were named after him. Even now, thirty years
after his death, Josip Broz Tito’s personality and leadership are still often discussed. Many of his
followers continue to glorify his successes, but there are also a growing number of young people
who are infected by “titostalgia”. They gather on various Internet web-sites or in lines waiting to
get in the Museum of Yugoslav History (formerly called “Museum 25 May”, after his birth date).
This paper will explore Yugoslavia’s political, economic, and cultural position during the Cold
War. The relationship between youth, born after Tito’s death, and his personality will be
specifically explained.
Creativity is a highly estimated value and an increasingly present topic in contemporary educational, economic, political and media discourses. It is not only considered as a valuable individual ...quality, but as an important companies and states competitive asset too. Nowadays, special attention is accorded to creative industries, as they boost national economies. In short, we are surrounded by references to creativity. However, emphasizing and promoting creativity and praising creative talents may conceal from us all the "non-creative" human, material and immaterial factors and resources which support and make possible creative accomplishments. In others words, behind each individual or group creative achievement there are those who provide logistic, organizational, financial, research, social, psychological and other kinds of support. Individuals or teams would not be able to develop and realize their innovative ideas and projects without some or more collaborators whose various talents, skills, competencies and work are embedded in the creative processes and results. The purpose of this paper is not to diminish the outstanding importance of creativeness as an inner special quality, but to present a more comprehensive approach to its manifestation, realization and outcomes. We want to bring to light and acknowledge the invisible and underestimated contributions to creative activities. Although it is good to encourage and promote creativity with all available means, we should avoid turning it into a new imperative, a pressure on each and everyone to demonstrate their creative aptitudes, especially in the educational field. This attitude could provoke feelings of frustration, deficiency and self-depreciation in persons who are not particularly creative, but possess other valuable and useful qualities and skills, such as analytical, logical, practical, organizational, administrative, managerial, and others. Creative achievements as results of highly collaborative processes will be illustrated with the example of creative industries.
Geneza medija kao višesmislenog fenomena podrazumeva njegov preobražaj od prvobitne funkcije odašiljača poruke i informacija u aktivnog subjekta u procesu komunikacije i moćnog sredstva kritičkog ...mišljenja. Na tom putu, mediji su dostigli snagu vodoćeg faktora u oblikovanju kritičkog mišljenja recipijenta. U radu se analiziraju komunikacijski procesi u savremenom društvu otkrivajući dominantan osećaj pasivne zavisnosti o medijske sadržaje od strane recipijenta i aktivne uloge medija. Tokom tog procesa informacija postaje antipodni entitet koji ukikida smisao i primarno služi kao podsećanje na neprikosnoveni kredibilitet koji je prenesen na spektakl kao umetnički izraz. U tom procesu recipijenta koji treba kritički da promišlja umetničke sadržaje preobražava se u nemoćnog i anestiziranog konzumenta svega što mu se predočava u medijima. Umetnost spektakla postaje realnost.
