Creativity is a highly estimated value and an increasingly present topic in contemporary educational, economic, political and media discourses. It is not only considered as a valuable individual ...quality but as an important company and states competitive asset too. Nowadays, special attention is accorded to creative industries, as they boost national economies. In short, we are surrounded by references to creativity. However, emphasizing and promoting creativity and praising creative talents may conceal from us all the "non-creative" human, material and immaterial factors and resources which support and make possible creative accomplishments. In other words, behind each individual or group creative achievement there are those who provide logistics, organizational, financial, research, social, psychological and other kinds of support. Individuals or teams would not be able to develop and realize their innovative ideas and projects without some or more collaborators whose various talents, skills, competencies and work are embedded in the creative processes and results. The purpose of this paper is not to diminish the outstanding importance of creativeness as an inner special quality, but to present a more comprehensive approach to its manifestation, realization and outcomes. We want to bring to light and acknowledge the invisible and underestimated contributions to creative activities. Although it is good to encourage and promote creativity with all available means, we should avoid turning it into a new imperative, a pressure on each and everyone to demonstrate their creative aptitudes, especially in the educational field. This attitude could provoke feelings of frustration, deficiency and self-depreciation in persons who are not particularly creative but possess other valuable and useful qualities and skills, such as analytical, logical, practical, organizational, administrative, managerial, and others. Creative achievements as results of highly collaborative processes will be illustrated with the example of creative industries.
Due to life in extreme environments, cyanobacteria and algae from cave biofilms that form at the entrances or deep inside the cave around artificial lights are of increasing interest to many ...scientists. It is well-known that many phototrophic microorganisms are first to colonize exposed substrata and produce the organic matter on which other biofilm constituents relly. Many studies dealing with phototrophic microorganisms from biofilms focus on the diversity and community composition of cyanobacteria and algae, while quantitative assessments are rarely implemented. Biofilm sampling was conducted in Degurić and Vernjikica Cave located in Western and Eastern Serbia, respectively. Ecological parameters (temperature, relative humidity, light intensity) and distance from the entrance were measured. Additionally, chlorophyll content, as well as biofilm parameters (water content, organic and inorganic matter) were determined. The abundance of phototrophic microorganisms was assessed on microscope slides which contained 1 mg of biofilm that was dehydrated for a short period of time and homogenized prior to slide preparation, and then rehydratated. The biomass of recorded cyanobacterial and algal taxa was calculated by applying geometric approximations and standard mathematical formulas. In Degurić Cave, at the sampling site where the highest biomass was documented, the higher diversity, water content and chlorophyll values were also recorded, while in Vernjikica Cave a high content of organic matter was documented. According to the multivariate analyses performed, the biomass of simple trichal Cyanobacteria, Bacillariophyta, and Xanthophyta was positively correlated with the content of organic matter in biofilm and light intensity, while coccoid and heterocytous Cyanobacteria and Chlorophyta showed a positive correlation with water content in the biofilm, relative humidity and distance from the entrance. The total biomass was positively correlated with the chlorophyll content, organic matter and light intensity, and negatively with the distance from the entrance.
Population ageing is a phenomenon that is characteristic of all European countries. It affects both economic and social development and imposes an obligation to use public policy measures to protect ...the rights of the elderly, prevent their marginalization and discrimination, and create conditions for their equal participation in all spheres of life. Accordingly, it is necessary to create cultural policy measures that will enable conditions for equal participation of the elderly in cultural life. This paper deals with the cultural participation of senior Belgraders. It has examined their cultural interests, private and public cultural consumption and cultural production. The goal of the paper is to investigate to what extent the interests of elderly Belgraders coincide with cultural practices, how much they use the Internet to participate in cultural life, and how much the pandemic has affected their cultural needs and habits. An additional goal of this paper is to draw attention of the public and the policy makers to improvement and promotion of the cultural needs of the elderly in Belgrade and to provide data that can be useful for creation of a cultural policy that will enable greater participation of the elderly in the cultural life of the city.
The goal of this paper is to determine the role of environmental communication in linking the initiator of the project of sustainable development and other subjects in the society, which can lead to ...organizational change towards sustainable development. The project “Artificial Spawning of the Danube Salmon in the Interest of Enhancing the Wildlife Population of the Drina River” has been analyzed using various methods. This project was initiated by the famous Serbian volleyball player Vladimir Vanja Grbić. The combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods has been used to analyze the representation of this project in the media. Using critical discourse analysis, the paper analyzes the whole episode “Drina River Warriors” of the TV serial “Perfectly natural” about this project. This paper describes how a celebrity, as an informal leader of opinion, has a major impact on changes in different organizations as well in the public opinion formation.
The aim of this paper is to define how the City of Niš (the birthplace of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great) plans to prepare for the celebration of the 1700 th anniversary of the Edict of ...Milan. This will be a great test of efficiency for the public policy. This paper will try to detect media frameworks through which the importance of certain subjects about public policy of the City of Niš is emphasized. This policy is directly related to preparation in different public sectors, especially in tourism and culture. As a methodological approach, we applied content analysis in order to achieve this detection.
Prednosti upotrebe nove tehnologije u prikazivanju i promociji kulturnog naslijeđa u ovom radu analizirat ćemo na primjeru multimedijalne izložbe „Osvježavanje memorije“. Kroz animaciju, projekcije i interaktivne prezentacije, intrigantno osvjetljenje i zvučne senzacije autor izložbe Dušan Milovanović i autor postava izložbe Ivan Mangov približili su, prije svega mlađoj publici, srpsko srednjovjekovno slikarstvo.
Because of its symbolic meaning, the cultural and historical heritage has a specific value for the modern generations, since it forms the identity and shapes the collective and individual culture of ...memory. It is of great importance that more and more young people get in touch with the works of art that make the material cultural heritage. However, the traditional ways of presentation are usually not very popular with the audience, since people are so used to the dynamics of the new media. Contemporary exhibitions are becoming a way for the audience to get information, entertainment and education, since they tell stories and offer arguments of diversity and importance of cultural heritage. In this paper we will analyze the advantages of technology in presentation and promotion of cultural heritage on the example of the multimedia exhibition “Refreshing of memory”. Through animation, projection and interactive presentation, intriguing lighting and sound sensations, the author of the exhibition Ivan Mangov has presented the medieval painting to the younger audience.

A media genesis as multimeaningfull phenomenon means its transformation from its initial function as a transmiter of a message and information into an active subject in the process of communication ...towards a powerful mean of critical opinion. On that road, from the role of information transmition, medias strengtened into a leading factor in shaping critical opinion of a recipient. A project is focused on a communication processes analysis within modern society, revealing dominant feeling of passive dependency of a media content by the recipient and media’s active role. During that process, information becomes antipodal entity, which abolishes the meaning and primarily serves as a reminder on an undisputed credibility transfered into a spectacle as an art expression. Within that process, recipient who is supposed to criticaly think about media content transforms into a muted and brainwashed consumer of everything that is presented by media. The art of spectacle becomes reality.
The contemporary world is facing serious ecological problems as a result of social, demographic, and economic factors. Among these problems, water pollution occupies an important role. The public in ...Serbia is not sufficiently informed about the lack of water on the planet. In Serbia, a country that has been subjected to numerous socio-political crises for decades, very little attention is given to environmental protection and the development of ecological awareness. Therefore, this paper is a case study on the pollution of the river South Morava (Južna Morava). The aim of this paper is to establish the role of the media in forming public opinion and developing ecological awareness on the protection of the river.
