Labial adhesions occur most often in infants and young girls and are associated with low oestrogen levels. Herein, we report a case of labial adhesion in a 24-year-old young girl, who presented with ...acute retention of urine. Clinical examination revealed normally developed external genitalia and a thin membrane occluding the introital opening. Her secondary sexual characters were normal; the most probable cause being acute vaginitis, her hormonal profile was not done. Patient was managed with sharp excision of membrane followed by local application of antibiotics. Patient was asymptomatic at three months follow-up with completely healed labia. Hence, all women including unmarried ones who present with urinary complaint need to have a complete gynaecological examination as the two can be related.
Bartsocas-Papas Syndrome (BPS) is a very rare autosomal recessive syndrome characterised by marked craniofacial deformities, multiple pterygia of various joints, limb and genital abnormalities. It is ...mostly associated with mutation in the gene encoding Receptor Interacting Serine/Threonine Kinase 4 (RIPK4) required for keratinocyte differentiation. The syndrome is generally lethal and majority of babies die in-utero or in the early neonatal period. This is a report about a neonate born with characteristic clinical features of BPS including severe craniofacial and ophthalmic abnormalities, limb deformities and multiple pterygia at popliteal, axillary and inguinal region. The baby had respiratory distress at birth and was managed conservatively on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)/Oxygen hood and injectable antibiotics for two weeks and then referred for further work-up to a tertiary hospital. The parents took the baby home against the advice of the treating doctors and she subsequently died after 10 days. BPS is associated with high mortality and so all efforts should be directed towards diagnosing it early antenatally when termination of pregnancy is a viable option. This is possible by having a high index of suspicion in couples with consanguineous marriages or with a positive family history.
Intra uterine devices (IUD) are the second most common accepted methods of contraception worldwide after sterilization. It is a long acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) which is now being promoted ...as a simpler, safer and effective method of contraception for those women who do not want a permanent method of contraception. Missing thread is the most common complaint seen within 6 weeks of insertion and may be the only presentation of misplaced IUD. Most women who spontaneously expel the IUD are unaware of the situation. We are presenting a case of misplaced IUD which was partially expelled and got embedded in the vagina which is a rare site of misplaced IUD.
Now a days, in developing countries like India, one of the most common contributing factor for increasing caesarean section rate is CDMR (Caesarean delivery on maternal request). Incidence of CDMR ...reached upto 18 percent of total caesarean deliveries worldwide. The issue of CDMR is ongoing bioethical debate which highlights the struggle to balance patient autonomy with duty of obstetrician to uphold the principle of beneficence, non maleficence and justice. Our mission should be to promote safe, effective and satisfying maternity care for all women and their families through research, education, expertise and advocacy.

Collodion baby is a term used for neonates in whom the body surface is covered by thick skin sheets, appearing like a translucent, tight parchment paper. This membrane is formed due to dysfunction of ...epidermal development resulting in epidermal hyperkeratosis. It is a rare condition with an incidence of 1 in 50,000-100,000 deliveries. The early neonatal period of a collodion baby can be complicated by hypernatremic dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, hypothermia and skin infections, resulting in high morbidity and mortality. Early diagnosis helps in optimal initial management and prevention of complications and thereby improves prognosis. Here, the present authors report a case of a collodion baby born and managed successfully in the institute.

ABSTRACT
The prevalence of heterotopic pregnancy is increasing worldwide, due to the widespread practice of assisted reproductive technology and the availability of more precise diagnostic ...techniques. However, spontaneous heterotopic pregnancy is a rare clinical condition where it occurs in a natural conception. It has a historic incidence of 1 in 30,000. We report a case of 30 years old women, gravida 6, para 3, abortion 2 without having any risk factor for ectopic pregnancy who conceived spontaneously and was diagnosed ultrasonographically as heterotopic pregnancy, i.e. with concomitant right tubal pregnancy and intrauterine gestation. The patient presented with pain in lower abdomen and was managed laparoscopically. Due to its rarity, a high degree of clinical suspicion is required to make a diagnosis of heterotopic pregnancy. Thus, we infer that the diagnosis of heterotopic pregnancy should be suspected in all women in the reproductive age, reporting with early pregnancy.

Main aim of Software Engineering is to increase quality and maintain Software Product. Inheritance reflects the degree of reusability of existing classes and reuse increases productivity. Most ...Cohesion Metric tool do not consider inherited elements while measuring cohesion but we can measure design quality by including the concept of inheritance in Cohesion metrics. In this paper values of all cohesion metrics (LCOM1, LCOM2, LCOM3, LCOM4, LCOM5, CO, TCC and LCC) is calculated including the concept of inheritance for Single, Multiple, Multilevel and Hierarchical Inheritance and compare results to determine design complexity of various types of Inheritances.
In the present study, the physicochemical properties of micellar casein concentrate (MCC) prepared from skim milk (buffalo and cow), using microfiltration (MF), were assessed. There was no ...significant difference (P > 0.05) between the average particle size of skim milk casein micelles (cow and buffalo) and their respective MCC. The casein‐to‐whey protein ratio increased from 4.91 and 4.75 in skim milk to 135.16 and 159.22 in MCC of buffalo and cow, respectively. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed an interwoven intact structure in both buffalo skim milk and MCC as compared to cow MCC. MCC showed excellent heat stability with type B characteristic curve.
