Aim: tosystematize the literature data on endoscopic semiotics and morphological changes in the gastric mucosa in autoimmune gastritis. Key points. Autoimmune gastritis is associated with an ...increased risk of developing adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumours of the stomach. Clarification of diagnostic criteria for autoimmune gastritis is essential for gastroenterological practice. The diagnosis is based on the results of endoscopic and histological examination, and on data from laboratory tests. Isolated atrophy of the mucous membrane of the body of the stomach, the presence of difficult-to-wash creamy mucus, changes in the mucous membrane like “shed skin”, and the presence of whitish globule-like foci are typical endoscopic signs of autoimmune gastritis. Widespread pseudopyloric metaplasia, focal intestinal and pseudopancreatic metaplasia, hyperplasia of the ridges of the mucous membrane of the body of the stomach and their relationship to the glandular layer as in the antrum allow during a morphological study considering clinical data to suspect and verify autoimmune gastritis. Conclusion. During instrumental examination, knowledge of endoscopic symptoms and pathognomonic morphological changes is important for the timely diagnosis of autoimmune gastritis.
Traditional serrated adenomas (TSAs) are extremely rare polyps from the group of serrated polyps of the colon. TSAs is no more than 5 % of all colon polyps. A relatively small number of studies have ...been devoted to this histological variant, at the same time, some aspects of the morphological diagnosis of TSA still remain undisclosed. Purpose: to conduct a clinical and morphological analysis of cases of TSAs.
Materials and methods
. The study included 57 cases of TSAs diagnosed in the period from 2021 to 2023. In the cases detected during this period, the results of histological and endoscopic studies were analyzed.
Results
. The age of patients ranged from 44 to 78 years and averaged 61.7 years. The ratio of men and women is 1:1.8. Most TSAs were found in the rectum (n = 28) and sigmoid colon (n = 20). In 8 cases, the tumor was localized in the descending part and the splenic flexure of the colon. In 1 observation, a tumor was found in the cecum. The sizes of the polyps ranged from 0.5 cm to 3.5 cm. In 22 cases, the composition of the polyp included tubulovillous adenomas (16 cases) and hyperplastic polyps (6 cases) in addition to TSAs. In 5 cases, foci of highly differentiated adenocarcinoma were detected in the TSAs material.
Conclusion
. TSAs has characteristic morphological features with a serrated exophytic growth pattern, cytoplasmic eosinophilia and the presence of ectopic crypts. Due to the difficulties of morphological diagnosis, TSAs in some cases remains undiagnosed. At the same time, due to the increased malignant potential, TSAs requires special vigilance on the part of pathologists and clinicians.
Purpose. Evaluation of feasibility of colon capsule endoscopy (CCE), as non-invasive method of diagnostics of colon abnormalities.Patients and methods. From 31.01.2014 to 10.01.2017 we successfully ...performed 100 CCE in 101 (99,0%) patients (m-50, f-48, mean age 44,7 ± 14,8 years, range 22–81), including 2 twins aged 8 years (CCE was performed with pediatrician). The main indication for colonoscopy was colorectal cancer screening (73 (73,0%) pts). The indication for colonoscopy to 2 twins was complicated Peutz Jeghers syndrome in one of them. CCE was performed using the system PillCam (Given Imaging) and capsule PillCam Colon 2. For the bowel preparation we used two-stage regimen; for the evaluation of preparation — J.A. Leighton scale.Results. Preparation was adequate in 88 (88,0%) pts, non-adequate — in 12 (12,0%) pts. Total CCE was performed in 82 (82,0%) patients. The mean colon transit time was 4 hours 43 min ± 3 hours15 min. Total evaluation of the colon was performed in 82 (82,0%) pts. Mucosal lesions were revealed in 75 (75,0%) pts, including epithelial polyps in 52 (69,3%) pts. We also revealed comorbid lesions in 41 (54,6%) pts. Colonoscopy after CCE was recommended to 28 (37,3%) pts because of polyp detection, sized ≥6 mm, and because of inflammatory changes of colon mucosa, but only 11 (39,3%) pts were performed colonoscopy.Conclusion. In this article the experience of colon capsule endoscopy demonstrates the principal possibility of noninvasive evaluation of the colon and detection of colon abnormalities.
The Gibbs free energy of solvation and dissociation of hydrogen chloride in water is calculated through a combined molecular simulation/quantum chemical approach at four temperatures between
T
= 300 ...and 450 K. The Gibbs free energy is first decomposed into the sum of two components: the Gibbs free energy of transfer of molecular HCl from the vapor to the aqueous liquid phase and the standard-state Gibbs free energy of acid dissociation of HCl in aqueous solution. The former quantity is calculated using Gibbs ensemble Monte Carlo simulations using either KohnSham density functional theory or a molecular mechanics force field to determine the system's potential energy. The latter Gibbs free energy contribution is computed using a continuum solvation model utilizing either experimental reference data or micro-solvated clusters. The predicted combined solvation and dissociation Gibbs free energies agree very well with available experimental data.
Molecular simulations and quantum chemical solvation calculations were used to calculate the Gibbs free energy of aqueous solvation and dissociation for HCl at
T
= 300 to 450 K.

In present work we studied the morphological features of the esophageal mucosa in 63 children with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The biopsies were taken at level of 3 cm above a Z-line and ...at level of 0.5-1 cm above a Z-line. The results of our study showed that the mucosa of the esophago-gastric junction may contain areas covered with columnar epithelium of 44.4% of children in the biopsies from the level of 0.5-1.0 cm above the Z-line. Inflammatory changes in the mucosa of the esophago-gastric junction identified in 71.4% of cases. The inflammation in the majority of cases (82.1%) was observed in the presence of H. pylori infection (p < 0.001). In addition, H. pylori in our study, we noted the relationship detection carditis in overweight child. When compared with the height-weight parameters, the excess body weight was observed in 17 of 28 patients. We couldn't found increasing detection of the cardia in patients with erosive GERD compared with non-erosive variants.

We find an expression of the intersection number of a graph in terms of the minimum number of complete subgraphs that form a covering of the graph. This provides us with a uniform approach to ...studying properties of the intersection number of a graph. We distinguish the class of graphs for which the intersection number is equal to the least number of cliques covering the graph. It is proved that the intersection number of a complete r-partite graph is equal to the least n such that . It is proved that the intersection number of the graph is equal to the least n such that . Formulas for the intersection numbers of the graphs rC 4, r Chain(3), r(C4 + Km ), rW 5 are obtained.
Conditions for increasing the accuracy and reliability of calculation of the thermodynamic properties of polymers by additive methods have been formulated; they are necessary for determining the ...parameters of additive methods using the experimental values of polymer properties for each component of the polymer physical modification separately with the subsequent determination of properties of real polymers according to their degree of crystallinity. An additive technique has been developed, and sets of numerical values of additive parameters have been derived for practical calculations of the values of the enthalpies of formation, the absolute entropies, and the isobaric heat capacities of a number of polymers in the range 100–600 K with an accuracy comparable to that of the experimental data.
