(ruski) Hotja cel' issledovanij v ëtoj rabote obdumana narrativom pisatelja agiografij pervoj poloviny XIV veka, Arhiepiskopa Daniila i ego učenika, my vossozdali nepreryvnuju svjaz' so Svjaščennym ...pisaniem i avtorami XII i XIII vekov. Uvidev i osoznav shemu trojstva - termin bogoslovskoj terminologii, kotoryj my vključili v literaturovedčeskoe issledovanie - my stavili udarenie na tri bazovye funkcii projavlenija angelov: trehstupenčatost' monašesko-angel'skoj žizni; tri vida posredničestva meždu Bogom i čelovekom, každyj iz kotoryh sleduet angel'skoj ontologii ispolnitelja voli Bož'ej. Preimuščestvennym fokusom narrativnoj strategii Arhiepiskopa Daniila i ego učenika javljaetsja podrazumevajuščajasja rol' ange- lov v tipičeskih situacijah, v kotoryh v predyduščem periode podrobno govorilos' o projavlenii angelov i ëto kartina tret'ej stepeni (tret'ego vida) podčerkivanija funkcii bestele- snyh nebesnyh suščestv v žitijnyh delah staroj serbskoj literatury. Takaja pozicija Daniila II i ego učenika imeet svoe proishoždenie v podčerkivanii čelovečeskoj neznačitel'nosti i v tom, čto on nedostojnyj kommunikacii s metafizičeskimi prostorami Istiny Bož'ej, kotoraja odnovremenno javljaetsja i istočnikom straha Bož'ego, no i stremleniem k soedineniju s Bogom.
Colon-specific drug delivery may be possible by the application of dried amylose films to pharmaceutical formulations. Amylose, one of the major fractions of starch, possesses the ability to form ...films through gelation, when prepared under appropriate conditions. The microstructure of the film is potentially resistant to the action of pancreatic a-amylase but is digested by amylases of the colonic microflora. However, under simulated gastro-intestinal conditions, coatings made solely of amylose swell, become porous and allow drug release. Incorporation of insoluble polymers into the amylose film, to control amylose swelling, provides a solution to this problem. A range of cellulose and acrylate based copolymers were assessed, of which a commercially available ethylcellulose (Ethocel®) was found to control the swelling most effectively. The in vitro dissolution of various coated pellets under simulated gastric and small intestinal conditions, using commercially available pepsin and pancreatin, was determined and demonstrated the resistance of the amylose-Ethocel® coat ( 1:4 w/w ) to such conditions over a period of 12 h. With additional thermal treatment of the coat, in vitro drug release under simulated gastric and small intestinal conditions was prevented further, even after storage of the product for one year. Coated pellets were further evaluated in a batch culture fermenter, simulating colon conditions, containing an inoculum of mixed faecal bacteria. The in vitro release of 5-aminosalicylic acid from coated pellets in the fermenter system was shown to occur.
Starting from the postulate of Christian doctrine that every creation comes from the Holy Spirit, we have applied the already known principles of Theopoetics to the construction of churches and ...monasteries, through the topos of the struggle in God's name. We have found confirmation for this form of the preconditioning of human salvation in the hagiographical texts of old Serbian literature. In connection with the given topic, we pointed out timeliness (timely dedication to this God-pleasing work), as a key element which narratively shapes the soteriological motivation of this type of human feat. Speaking about the aesthetic correlation of the building of churches and monasteries, we pointed out the complexity of medieval aesthetics based on Christian doctrine.
Fingolimod is a once-daily oral treatment for relapsing multiple sclerosis, the proprietary production processes of which are tightly controlled, owing to its susceptibility to contamination by ...impurities, including genotoxic impurities. Many markets produce nonproprietary medicines; assessing their efficacy and safety is difficult as regulators may approve nonproprietary drugs without bioequivalence data, genotoxic evaluation, or risk management plans (RMPs). This assessment is especially important for fingolimod given its solubility/bioavailability profile, genotoxicity risk, and low-dose final product (0.5 mg). This paper presents an evaluation of the quality of proprietary and nonproprietary fingolimod variants.
Proprietary fingolimod was used as a reference substance against which eleven nonproprietary fingolimod copies were assessed. The microparticle size distribution of each compound was assessed by laser light diffraction, and inorganic impurity content by sulfated ash testing. Heavy metals content was quantified using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, and levels of unspecified impurities by high-performance liquid chromatography. Solubility was assessed in a range of solvents at different pH values. Key information from the fingolimod RMP is also presented.
Nonproprietary fingolimod variants exhibited properties out of proprietary or internationally accepted specifications, including differences in particle size distribution and levels of impurities such as heavy metals. For microparticle size and heavy metals, all tested fingolimod copies were out-of-specification by several-fold magnitudes. Proprietary fingolimod has a well-defined RMP, highlighting known and potential mid- to long-term safety risks, and risk-minimization and pharmacovigilance procedures.
Nonproprietary fingolimod copies produced by processes less well controlled than or altered from proprietary production processes may reduce product reproducibility and quality, potentially presenting risks to patients. Safety data and risk-minimization strategies for proprietary fingolimod may not apply to the nonproprietary fingolimod copies evaluated here. Market authorization of nonproprietary fingolimod copies should require an appropriate RMP to minimize risks to patients.
Both proprietary and nonproprietary medicines are expected to undergo rigorous preapproval testing and both should meet stringent health authority regulatory requirements related to quality to obtain ...approval. Nonproprietary (also known as copy, or generic) medicines, which base their authorization and use on the proprietary documentation and label, are often viewed as a means to help lower the cost and, thus, increase patient access. If these medicines fail to meet quality standards, such as good manufacturing practice and bioequivalence (in humans), they are then defined as substandard copies and can pose serious risks to patients in terms of safety and efficacy. Potentially noncontrolled or different manufacturing process and excipients in nonproprietary medicines may result in poor batch-to-batch reproducibility (accurate and consistent quantity of each ingredient in each capsule/tablet) and lower quality. Substandard, nonproprietary copies of medicines that are immunomodulatory or immunosuppressive are of concern to patients due to their possible untoward safety and lack of efficacy events. This article reviews the potential risks associated with nonproprietary medicines that do not meet the regulatory requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, or the World Health Organization. The clinical implications for patients are described. This article focuses on nonproprietary medicines for multiple sclerosis, particularly fingolimod, that are not identical to proprietary versions and could thus fail to meet efficacy expectations or have different impact on the safety of patients with multiple sclerosis.
This paper is based on a reading of the famous Dušan Kovačević's drama Balkan Spy, contextualized by postulates of simulacra. The starting point for finding symbols that corresponded to the system of ...the non-referent world (and each such system creates its own reality, and proceeds from its own frame in which it must be interpreted) is a book of Jean Baudrillard 'Simulacrum and Simulation'. Through chapters that accentuate simulacrum-like phenomena for proving the actual through imaginary and cloned, as well as defining the world of literary text as a kind of Disneyland, it becomes evident soundness of this idea that confirms the quality of this drama.
Although in the reader of Nabokov’s novel Pale Fire, a search for any logos would turn into a Sisyphean task, although the reading of this novel is not a contact with one meeting, but rather a ...network of meanings, there is an obvious relationship with the real world in the form of a parody or reassesment. That is why some of the themes that this paper addresses are: the relationship between fiction and reality implied by the author’s narrative method; sexual discourse, as well as a parody of the world of intellectuals (professors, critics, writers), by which Nabokov deconstructs the world to which he himself belongs. Th e influence of the realistic one is obvious, not only with the presence of the elements relevant to the world, but also in the absence that results from it: the poet’s daughter, whose death starts the writing of the poem and a while chain of eventns is a little present - she is plump, not very pretty and too sensitive, completely below the basic requirements of the time of narration that she belongs.
