The main goal of this research was to determine the attitudes of educators about the importance and representation of moral education in the contents of the curriculum and work program of modern ...preschool institutions. Moral development and the formation of moral values take place in the process of continuous interaction with the social environment in which adults (parents, educators), school and peers, and more recently, mass communication media, act. The research sample consisted of 87 teachers from two preschool institutions from Novi Pazar, gender imbalanced, with the majority of the female population (85 teachers), of different ages and years of service. Among the instruments used was the scale of teachers' attitudes about moral education, which was formed for this research. As for statistical tests, a reliability test was applied, which confirmed that the scale is highly reliable and homogeneous, as well as tests of descriptive statistics and statistical inference - Chi-square test. Based on the results, the main conclusion is that moral education is recognized by the majority of educators as important and present in the contents of the curriculum in work with preschool children, while on the other hand, there is also a gap between the proposed activities in the contents and their application due to the current crises in the educational process.
The main goal of the research is reflected in the analysis of teachers' views on the importance and representation of moral education in the contents of the work plan and program of preschool ...institutions, in relation to gender, years of service and years the age of the teacher. The research sample consisted of 87 teachers from two preschool institutions from Novi Pazar. Among the instruments used was the scale of educators' attitudes about moral education, formed for the purposes of this research. The results were analyzed using statistical tests t-test and ANOVA (analysis of variance), with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the obtained results, the views on the representation of moral education in the content of the work plan and program proved to be statistically significant in relation to gender, where female educators had more positive attitudes about the representation of the content of the work plan and program in comparison to male educators, as well as with the variable length of service, where educators with less work experience had more negative views about the prevalence of moral education in the content of the work plan and program in compared to teachers with longer working experience. The obtained results indicate a different interpretation of the contents of the plan and program among educators, and we believe that the educational style of the educators could have influenced the views expressed by the educators.

Vojislav (Vuk) Bakić was born in Kordun, in the village of Perna in 1847. At that time his place of birth was in the space never precisely defined by a consistent border between Kordun and Banija as ...a part of Vojna Krajina which was then and a few decades later still under the direct jurisdiction of Vienna. That is how he had an early opportunity to learn German language. That fact together with his natural talents and other opportunities gave him a chance to improve his studies in Leipzig and Heidelberg. He received his PhD in Leipzig. Apart from professional literature in German, Bakić regularly used literature in French, English and Italian language. He also spoke Latin and Czech. He followed closely development of education in Serbia, surrounding countries and Europe in general. His pedagogical work took place in times when pedagogy and psychology were separating from philosophy. In that time, system of education was established as a part of modern social system. That is why the work of Vojislav Bakić must be regarded in the context of history of pedagogical science in Serbia, and at a lower level as an impact on the development of pedagogy as a science in Serbia in those times. He is an extraordinarily prolific writer of valuable pedagogical works. He was considered a pioneer in a number of pedagogical disciplines within the pedagogical science. He advocated for the high education of secondary school teachers in Serbia. He turned pedagogy into a university discipline. He organized studies of pedagogy in Serbia at the European level at the time.
Education has always been socially conditioned. On the one hand, everything that happens in society necessarily reflects on the education process, and on the other hand, all changes in education ...cause changes in society. Baština journal, which used to be published by the Institute for the Study of Culture of Serbs, Montenegrins, Croats and Muslims in Priština from 1991 to 1997, and by the Institute for Serbian Culture in Priština since 1998, which has now been based in Leposavić since 1999, publishes papers in the field of social and humanistic sciences. These papers most often discuss topics in the field of Literature, History, History of Culture, Ethnology, Political Science and Sociology, and occasionally in the field of Ethnomusicology, Demography, Archeology, Art, Art History, Language, Literature and Aesthetics, while one journal issue published a special topic - Vladeta Vuković's Works. The journal has so far also included Discussions and Review, Chronicles and Composition. In this paper, the coauthors investigate the representation of education-related topics, as well as the character, scope and intensity of these topics in the Baština Journal from the first edition in 1991 to the latest edition in 2020. A retrospective study of scientific and professional papers showed that a total of 63 papers were published that directly and indirectly study education, primarily in the field of the history of pedagogy, general pedagogical topics and other education-related issues. These topics were mostly published within the History of Culture pillar. As a separate topic, Education was present only in two issues in 2007 and in one issue in 2009 and in the last two issues in 2020 within the Pedagogy course.
Burnout syndrome is a widely researched phenomenon and is the focus of numerous scientific studies. Research results show a prevalence of contextual factors in relation to individual factors for its ...emergence and development, as well as certain differences in approaches to the problem in different countries. Given the specificity of helping professions, which recognize and work within educational institutions, "helpers" are exposed to the greatest professional stress and the risk of burnout syndrome. The aim of this paper is to examine the contextual factors within the educational system that can influence the occurrence and development of burnout syndrome, with a focus on emphasizing the importance and possibilities of prevention through organizational changes. Therefore, the paper starts from the specificity of burnout syndrome related to helping professions, educated to provide help and support to others. After that, insights into visible or experienced consequences for employees in educational institutions are interpreted, drawing attention to their reflection on the development and education of individuals and society, as well as resources that can inhibit burnout syndrome. The conclusions of the analysis of this problem point to priority systemic tasks aimed at providing support and assistance to employees in educational institutions, viewed through three levels of a preventive approach. In this regard, the pedagogical implications of work can also be considered, as they can shed light on the specifics of burnout syndrome, recognition in practice, and adequate action to prevent consequences, most commonly through a model of self-help.
This article examines teachers’ opinions on the quality of textbooks and didactic materials used in teaching students with developmental disabilities and learning difficulties (hereinafter referred ...to as special educational needs). Empirical research was conducted on a sample of 233 respondents, including regular teachers (
N
= 109) and special educators (
N
= 124) employed in special schools. The results generally show that teachers in special schools rely relatively little (29.1%) on general textbooks intended for use in regular schools and instead often prepare their own materials for teaching students with special educational needs (69.6%). A significantly higher percentage of special educators, compared to regular teachers, personally prepare materials for students (χ2 = 14.361;
p
= 0.000). These results have verified the need for adapted textbooks and have further found that special educators significantly prefer the paper form of adapted textbooks, while regular teachers give preference to electronic textbooks.
The goal of this paper is to study and analyze integrated teaching, its teaching and organization methods and its significance for today's elementary school teaching. Given the fact that there has ...been an ongoing need to include interdisciplinary knowledge (which is based on integration and synthesis) in modern primary schools, this topic then becomes very relevant and interesting for professionals of different fields. Integrated learning and understanding of the world are the basis for the development of students' intellectual abilities, necessary for the integration of different perspectives they face in education, the development of which is an imperative in the 21st century, as stated by certain experts studying this topic. Integrated teaching is an innovative model which interconnects learning content from multiple subject areas. It provides more dynamics and interdisciplinary connections in teaching a certain topic, which then brings more quality, more meaningfulness and more creativity to the teaching process. Thanks to its didactic values, integrated teaching in primary school enables the application of a developmental model of education based on students' in-depth learning, development of creativity and individual authenticity, as well as the development of their divergent thinking. This teaching and learning model prepares students for lifelong learning, since they are expected to engage in additional activities in order to build relationships which would encourage them to act and find new solutions. All the models and levels of integration that we have explained in the paper can be successfully achieved in primary school, both at the class teaching and subject teaching level. Teachers who use their didactic and methodological competencies to assume significantly altered roles (consultant, helper, facilitator, educator, etc.) are an important prerequisite for effective implementation of integrated teaching. In addition to teachers' competencies and to preparing students for active participation in learning activities, an important prerequisite for the quality and effectiveness of integrated teaching are certainly teamwork and rational use of knowledge arising from both the theoretical and empirical research of this complex system of teaching. This paper has conducted a systematic analysis of integrated teaching from the aspect of: its characteristics and significance, current state and issues that occur during the actual teaching process, and the results of previous studies. As is evident from the paper, the results of the studies presented show that the most common shortcomings of the practical use of integrated teaching are the lack of time to plan it and implement it carefully, and the insufficient methodological competence of teachers, which indicates the need for professional development in this field.

Due to the changed social circumstances and the growing role of informal education in the process of personal development, the aim of the paper is to consider the importance of family activities, ...which hold the most dominant role in informal education. The key premise of modern society must therefore be based on establishing continuity in the process of lifelong learning, through the necessity of a holistic relationship between education and society. It is important to move away from the classical way of understanding the education as a process of knowledge transfer that takes place in the formal context and focus on the fact that learning is not limited by time, space, and institution. Starting from the fact that the family is the first and foremost system for a child, only with changed roles in different life cycles, an attempt was made to point out key effects on the family, but also on the child by the family, primarily for prosocial development. Prosocial development takes place by modelling behaviours through which the desired value system is expressed and instilled in a child. Regarding the family as educators in informal education, the paper emphasizes the need to monitor procedures that have a scientific and professional basis, with caution against "falling under the influence" of implicit theories of education that are promoted on social networks and in other, modern forms of social groups. In that sense, the necessity of supporting the family in educational activities, which represent the core of informal education in the family context, is emphasized. After considering the basic principles of formal, non-formal and informal education, the paper emphasizes the growing importance of informal education and the role of the family in this process, considering the key settings of parenting for holistic personality development, based on Kant's claim to educate. Namely, the attention was drawn to the educational activities of the family in the process of individual and social development through an informal approach, as well as to the questions of its competence to respond to the challenges posed by the social change.
The aim of our paper is to conduct a theoretical and empirical analysis of the relevance of an encouraging environment in the development and progress of gifted students within the modern knowledge ...society. In order to ensure the highest level of sample representativeness, the research was carried out on a sample of 106 teachers working with specialized classes for talented students, and teachers who had worked with those students at their previous stage of schooling. The study was conducted in schools belonging to the areas of the City of Nis and Kosovska Mitrovica (Republic of Serbia)*, by using the scaling technique. Through factor analysis, the following 5 most prominent features (factors) of an environment that encourages the development of gifted students within the knowledge society were extracted: 1) differentiated curricula, 2) encouraging problem-based learning, 3) integrated approach to learning, 4) encouraging research-based approach to learning, 5) developing logical and creative thinking skills. This research also found that the level of schooling of gifted students significantly determines the differences in teachers’ perceptions of the characteristics of an environment that encourages the development of gifted students, while school location was not a deciding factor.
