Background: Mimosa pudica commonly known as the “Touch me not” originated from the family “mimosaceae”. Mimosa pudica possesses a lot of medicinal values such as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, ...anti-diabetic properties etc. Euphorbia hirta is commonly known for curing patients suffering from asthma hence the name “Asthma plant”. It has various medicinal properties such as anti-fungal,anti-bacterial,anti-diabetic etc. Both these plants has anti-diabetic property hence the present was done to compare which medicinal herb is a better replacement for the standard synthetic drug “Metformin”. Materials and Methods: Assessment of in vitro anti-diabetic activity of Mimosa pudica and Euphorbia hirta was performed by alpha-amylase inhibitory activity and alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity. The result was compared to the standard drug metformin. The data were analysed statistically using one way analysis of variance (ONE-WAY ANOVA). Duncan Multiple range test was used to analyze the statistical significance between groups. The levels of significance were considered at the levels of p<0.05. Result: Both the plants showed an increase in percentage on inhibition of alpha amylase and alpha glucosidase in dose dependent manner. Conclusion: In the present study, it was revealed that the medicinal plant Euphorbia hirta showed a better antidiabetic activity than Mimosa pudica.
In this paper, we propose a new novel DNN-based video saliency prediction method. The main aim of this project is to separating foreground and background images and also finding the motion of the ...objects.The methodogy used in this project is to seperating the foreground images using background modelling techniques(Pixel searching algorithm). The another technique is Homography based search algorithm for block based motion estimation is used to finding the movement of the objects.Saliency object detection is also used to highlighting the particular region in the images. In our base paper1,context subtraction algorithm is introduced. But in this paper,Convolutional neural networks is used to classifying the foreground objects from background images. We propose an deep convolutional neural network (CNN) Classifier is used to predict intra-frame salience by exploring object and object movement details .The CNN classifier is also used to separating the new objects from background. We also find from our database that a temporary correlation of human attention exists, with a smooth transition of saliency across video frames. Therefore, in our DNN-based approach we create a two-layer convolutionary long-term memory (2C-LSTM) network, using the extracted CNN features as the data. The fuzzy clustering is used to store the information as the processed images in this project. This project can be implemented in real time applications such as defence, forest and miltrary area.Saliency Mapping is also used to reduce the Zipper effect,it mainly occurs in edges. It gives High resolution too. Finally, the proposed system is developed using matlab simulation. The PSNR value is attained above 95%.
This study reports the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using amino acid L-histidine as a reducing and capping agent as an eco-friendly approach. Fabricated L-histidine-capped silver nanoparticles ...(L-HAgNPs) were characterized by spectroscopic and microscopic studies. Spherical shaped L-HAgNPs were synthesized with a particle size of 47.43 ± 19.83 nm and zeta potential of −20.5 ± 0.95 mV. Results of the anticancer potential of L-HAgNPs showed antiproliferative effect against SiHa cells in a dose-dependent manner with an IC50 value of 18.25 ± 0.36 µg/mL. Fluorescent microscopic analysis revealed L-HAgNPs induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) mediated mitochondrial dysfunction, leading to activation of apoptotic pathway and DNA damage eventually causing cell death. To conclude, L-HAgNPs can act as promising candidates for cervical cancer therapy.
ADAMTS-4, also referred to as aggrecanase-1, is a glutamyl endopeptidase capable of generating catabolic fragments of aggrecan
analogous to those released from articular cartilage during degenerative ...joint diseases such as osteoarthritis. Efficient
aggrecanase activity requires the presence of sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) attached to the aggrecan core protein, implying
the contribution of substrate recognition/binding site(s) to ADAMTS-4 activity. In the present study, we demonstrate that
full-length ADAMTS-4 ( M
r â¼68,000) undergoes autocatalytic C-terminal truncation to generate two discrete isoforms ( M
r â¼53,000 and M
r â¼40,000), which exhibit a marked reduction in affinity of binding to sulfated GAGs. C-terminal sequencing and mass analyses
revealed that the GAG-binding thrombospondin type I motif was retained following autocatalysis, indicating that sites present
in the C-terminal cysteine (cys)-rich and/or spacer domains also effect binding of full-length ADAMTS-4 to sulfated GAGs.
Binding-competition experiments conducted using native and deglycosylated aggrecan provided direct evidence for interaction
of the ADAMTS-4 cysteine-rich/spacer domains with aggrecan GAGs. Furthermore, synthetic peptides mimicking putative (consensus)
GAG-binding sequences located within the ADAMTS-4 cysteine-rich and spacer domains competitively blocked binding of sulfated
GAGs to full-length ADAMTS-4, thereby identifying multiple GAG-binding sites, which may contribute to the regulation of ADAMTS-4
function.

Progressed to-basic converters and Internet QoS, while basic on a basic level, have not as yet been seen as practical. believe it or not, couple of steganographers would contrast with the improvement ...of lambda investigation, which exemplifies the speculative gauges of estimations. Bit, our new structure for genuine computations, is the response for these tangles.

Glycerol phenylbutyrate (GPB) lowers ammonia by providing an alternate pathway to urea for waste nitrogen excretion in the form of phenylacetyl glutamine, which is excreted in urine. This randomized, ...double‐blind, placebo‐controlled phase II trial enrolled 178 patients with cirrhosis, including 59 already taking rifaximin, who had experienced two or more hepatic encephalopathy (HE) events in the previous 6 months. The primary endpoint was the proportion of patients with HE events. Other endpoints included the time to first event, total number of events, HE hospitalizations, symptomatic days, and safety. GPB, at 6 mL orally twice‐daily, significantly reduced the proportion of patients who experienced an HE event (21% versus 36%; P = 0.02), time to first event (hazard ratio HR = 0.56; P < 0.05), as well as total events (35 versus 57; P = 0.04), and was associated with fewer HE hospitalizations (13 versus 25; P = 0.06). Among patients not on rifaximin at enrollment, GPB reduced the proportion of patients with an HE event (10% versus 32%; P < 0.01), time to first event (HR = 0.29; P < 0.01), and total events (7 versus 31; P < 0.01). Plasma ammonia was significantly lower in patients on GPB and correlated with HE events when measured either at baseline or during the study. A similar proportion of patients in the GPB (79%) and placebo groups (76%) experienced adverse events. Conclusion: GPB reduced HE events as well as ammonia in patients with cirrhosis and HE and its safety profile was similar to placebo. The findings implicate ammonia in the pathogenesis of HE and suggest that GPB has therapeutic potential in this population. (Clinicaltrials.gov, NCT00999167). (Hepatology 2014;59:1073‐1083)
The International Consultations on Urological Diseases are international consensus meetings, supported by the World Health Organization and the Union Internationale Contre le Cancer, which have ...occurred since 1981. Each consultation has the goal of convening experts to review data and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve practice. In 2012, the selected subject was bladder cancer, a disease which remains a major public health problem with little improvement in many years. The proceedings of the 2nd International Consultation on Bladder Cancer, which included a 'Pathology of Bladder Cancer Work Group,' have recently been published; herein, we provide a summary of developments and consensus relevant to the practicing pathologist. Although the published proceedings have tackled a comprehensive set of issues regarding the pathology of bladder cancer, this update summarizes the recommendations regarding selected issues for the practicing pathologist. These include guidelines for classification and grading of urothelial neoplasia, with particular emphasis on the approach to inverted lesions, the handling of incipient papillary lesions frequently seen during surveillance of bladder cancer patients, descriptions of newer variants, and terminology for urine cytology reporting.
