The Extractive Reserve (RESEX) was designed to protect rubber tapping communities and their livelihoods, thus guaranteeing environmental health. This study was carried out between 2021 and 2023 and ...aimed to propose a methodology based on the fuzzy logic method to assess the degree of sustainability in RESEXs in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. For this assessment, 10 indicators were used, represented through input variables in the fuzzy inference systems represented by the Environmental Subsystem (ES), Economic Subsystem (ECS), Social Subsystem (SS), and Institutional Subsystem (IS), with performances that converged so that the Sustainability System in the RESEX (SRE) system reached a performance value of 30.0, on a scale of 0 to 100, which translates into low sustainability in these spaces in the state of Amazonas. The methodology’s ability to represent the main phenomena that impact sustainability in the RESEX studied through linguistic variables and weight them in their complexities, as well as inferring a set of decision rules that reflect the knowledge of experts and which aim to quantitatively contextualise sustainability under uncertainty and imprecision in these areas, makes it a viable instrument to be applied and used by managers and decision-makers in the management of these spaces.
Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o papel da proteção ambiental como princípio norteador da gestão pública no estado do Amazonas, sob a perspectiva do direito administrativo. Para alcançar esse ...objetivo, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica e análise de documentos legais e administrativos, a fim de compreender a relevância da proteção ambiental na gestão pública, considerando as características peculiares da região amazônica. A pesquisa destaca a importância do direito administrativo como ferramenta jurídica para garantir a efetiva aplicação das políticas ambientais e o cumprimento da legislação pertinente. A revisão bibliográfica permitiu identificar os princípios constitucionais do meio ambiente e os instrumentos jurídicos e administrativos disponíveis para a proteção ambiental na gestão pública. Além disso, foram analisadas as competências administrativas relacionadas à gestão ambiental, o licenciamento ambiental e a responsabilidade administrativa e judicial por danos ambientais. Os resultados apontam para desafios na implementação das políticas públicas de proteção ambiental no Amazonas, bem como a necessidade de fortalecer a atuação dos órgãos governamentais responsáveis pela gestão ambiental. A análise dos resultados ressalta a importância de aprimorar os mecanismos jurídico-administrativos, como os planos de gestão ambiental, visando garantir uma proteção ambiental mais efetiva. Em conclusão, este estudo destaca a necessidade de uma gestão pública comprometida com a proteção ambiental, reconhecendo o direito administrativo como um instrumento fundamental para a implementação das políticas ambientais. Recomenda-se o aperfeiçoamento dos mecanismos jurídico-administrativos e a adoção de abordagens integradas para promover uma gestão pública sustentável no Amazonas, considerando as especificidades da região amazônica.

Economic‐emission load dispatch optimization problem is an essential task in power plants with internal combustion engines. In power plants, in addition to electricity, a lot of air pollution ...by exhaust gases is generated. There are many international standards that establish the permissible limits of different substances but still have not developed an expression to evaluate the environmental impact caused by all components of the exhaust gases as a whole. A new method to evaluate this impact is developed in this paper. The developed mathematical expression was called “emission index.” To get a better idea of the environmental impact of each type of engine, the “specific emission index”, which is the emission index divided by the power delivered by the engine. This paper also presents a mathematical model for a multiobjective optimization of economic‐emission load dispatch using nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II.
The aim of this manuscript is to introduce solutions to optimize economic dispatch of loads and combined emissions (CEED) in thermal generators. We use metaheuristics, such as particle swarm ...optimization (PSO), ant lion optimization (ALO), dragonfly algorithm (DA), and differential evolution (DE), which are normally used for comparative simulations, and evaluation of CEED optimization, generated in MATLAB. For this study, we used a hybrid model composed of six (06) thermal units and thirteen (13) photovoltaic solar plants (PSP), considering emissions of contaminants into the air and the reduction in the total cost of combustibles. The implementation of a new method that identifies and turns off the least efficient thermal generators allows metaheuristic techniques to determine the value of the optimal power of the other generators, thereby reducing the level of pollutants in the atmosphere. The results are presented in comparative charts of the methods, where the power, emissions, and costs of the thermal plants are analyzed. Finally, the comparative results of the methods were analyzed to characterize the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

generator unit, ensuring that the total losses and demand are equal to the total generated power but minimizing the total cost of fuel consumption and carbon emission. Many materials and methods have been elaborated to fix the economic emission load dispatch, among them are as follows: differential evolution method, gradient method and Newton’s method. The results found for this case study, with the new application of simulated annealing, were outstanding having a reduction of 20.14% in the total fuel cost, comparing to classical methods that distribute the generation of power among all motors, including the least efficient ones. This method helps the expert in the decision making of preventive maintenance of machines that are not working in the moment of multi-objective optimization, improving not only the yield of generation and carbon emission reduction but also of the power plant generation planning.

It is Presented the platform and previous results, (InGuia) who can contribute to the problem resolution on finding specialized professionals to prest guide service in the local tours and provides rich and trust information, all completed and updated about all the tourism richness of a place all of this in several languages, which is extremely important knowing how is the variety of nationalities that visit Brazil. Since Manaus Tourism has great potential, with a huge variety of places to visit, we present how Manaus loses all this potential with a bad experience given to the tourist caused by the missing of defined and actualized information. Besides that, it is also difficult for the ones who work directly with tourism, as in the case of the Guides, who suffer to create contact with the tourist. InGuia comes as a purpose to solve these problems, given to the tourist the opportunity to know better the place where he goes to visit, bringing precise information, easy to understand, and easy access. In addition to creating opportunities for Guides to reposition themselves in the market, allowing a better view of the service he proposes. In that way, InGuia helps both tourists who wish to have a better tourist experience, traveling with more convenience and practicality, now that they know they can easily find the information they need, as well as supporting the Guides, allowing the easy exposure of their services. A automação de processos é uma realidade cada vez mais comum atualmente, o funcionário “digital” está cada vez mais presente em empresas de diversos segmentos. A proposta desse trabalho é ...contextualizar a tecnologia de Robotic Process Automation (RPA), assim como apresentar um framework open-source chamado TagUI como uma opção de ferramenta. De forma viabilizando e democratizando o uso da tecnologia em outros segmentos de mercado ou ainda por usuários particulares. Como protótipo e estudo de caso foi realizada automação de um processo que se encaixa nos pré-requisitos de viabilidade para automação. Por fim, traçando um paralelo entre os benefícios que esperam ser alcançados com o uso de RPA e os alcançados após a implantação do robô desenvolvido.

The article describes the system instability, frequency and voltage in Manaus. Electrical systems are relevant to the functioning of cities and are constantly evolving to meet growing demands. The ...deregulation of the sector and the continuous incorporation of new equipment technologies make the system's operation complex. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the methods and instruments for monitoring and controlling the operation of the system in real time. Several technologies appear every year, but in Brazil there is the Automatic Generation Control (GAG) and supervisory control of the system, which aims to control the generation in plants in order to meet the goals determined by the System Operator. Ensuring that the frequency remains constant and in a range close to its nominal value. It also has the power flow control function in the interconnection lines. Increasing demand for electricity today means that electric power systems operate near the limit. The lack of policies appropriate to the reality of the sector and the economic order of the country aggravate the problem of power generation with regard to frequency and voltage stability. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance and identify the most appropriate strategy of Load-Frequency and Voltage Control for the case of the Manaus system, when the Network Operation topology changes.
