Background and Aim: Sexual education is one of the important aspects of education that is necessary to pay attention to in the adolescent period, despite significant studies in this field, so far no ...comprehensive and efficient solutions have been provided to improve the situation of adolescent sexual education. The main goal of this research was to identify the appropriate solutions to reduce the gap between the current and desired sex education in the first year of secondary school, from the teachers' point of view. Methods: The research method is practical in terms of its purpose, descriptive-survey in terms of its nature and method, and the tool for collecting information is a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the content of the questionnaire has been checked and confirmed by calculating the Laushe coefficient and the reliability of the questionnaire by testing it and calculating the bisection method. The statistical population of the research was all the teachers and executive staff of the first secondary schools of Hamedan province in 1400, of which 380 people were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling. T and FREDMAN statistical tests were used in the data analysis in the SPSS22 software environment. Results: 15 strategies were identified to improve the status of sex education in schools. Placing content related to sexual education in textbooks makes all schools obliged to present those topics to students and already with educational design, consider various educational elements and comprehensive and efficient education in this have context The participation of parents and teachers in the sexual education of students and the preparation of parents in terms of motivational factors, knowledge and ability in the sexual education of adolescents makes the education more effective in this field. The inclusion of an extra-curricular lesson with the title of "deserving boys and girls" in schools will provide opportunities for education related to sexual education to students jointly at the level of all schools. The attractive title of the lesson makes students more interested in these topics. Conclusion: Considering that the modesty of a number of students prevents them from asking confidential questions in the field of sexual issues, the use of indirect education tools such as question boxes and non-present communication channels can be effective in the sexual education of students.
Background and Objectives: Spirituality is an individual’s effort and searches for meaning and purpose in life. Spirituality includes the connection with religious beliefs and some of the chosen ...beliefs, values, and duties that give meaning to life to achieve the desired perfection. This study aimed to model the structural equations of the relationship between spirituality and psychological wellbeing mediated by spiritual health. Methods: This was a descriptive and correlational study, especially of cause-effect modeling. The statistical population included students of higher education centers in Sanandaj City, Iran, in 2018. Of them, 464 subjects were selected as the research sample by cluster random sampling approach. Measurement tools included researcher-made spirituality questionnaires (2020), Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-Being (1980), and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale (Paloutzian & Ellison, 1983). Results: Data analysis was performed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, heuristic factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis by structural equation modeling. The results on the model of the relationship between spirituality, psychological well-being, and spiritual health indicated the acceptable desirability of the indicators of goodness of fit of the model (P≤0.01). Other results suggested that higher levels of spirituality were associated with psychological wellbeing and spiritual health. Conclusion: The present research data revealed an overlap between spirituality, psychological well-being, and spiritual health. Spirituality positively affected psychological wellbeing and spiritual health concerning individual and social adjustment
• Objective: The present study was conducted to identify the parameters of the Islamic approach in moral education and analyze the content of the Quran textbooks in the junior high school based on ...those parameters. • Method: This study was conducted with a combination of library, Fuzzy Delphi, and Qualitative-Deductive Content Analysis Methods. In the library studies section, the research community consisted of scientific resources related to the research topic and the sampling method was available, which continued until the information saturation. The card repertoire was used to collect data and a qualitative method was used to analyze the data. In the Fuzzy Delphi section, the statistical population included professors working in universities of Hamadan Province in 1399 SH in the Fields of |educational science, psychology, and theology, 40 of whom were purposefully selected as a statistical sample. A researcher-made questionnaire was developed to collect data and the parameters of descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. In the content analysis section, the statistical population consisted of the Quran textbooks for the junior high school, which were examined by the census method. A researcher-made content analysis checklist was used to collect the data and Shannon Entropy method was used to analyze the data. • Findings: The findings indicate an unbalanced distribution of parameters of Islamic approach in moral education in the content of the abovementioned books, in a way that the highest coefficient of importance is related to the Index of enjoining good and the lowest coefficient of importance is related to the indices of attention to innate human tendencies, self-improvement and self-actualization, self-knowledge, conscious choice and voluntary action. • Conclusion: it is necessary to review the content of the abovementioned books based on the characteristics of the Islamic approach in moral education.
Background : Nowadays, educational systems need schools that provide continuous learning and new opportunities for people to experience life in the information society by using information and ...communications technology. This study aimed to compare the fluidity, recalling power, educational attainment motivation and educational attainment of students in smart and ordinary schools in physics 1. Methods : This was a causal-comparative study, the subjects of which included 56 high school boys of Arak District 2. Abedi creativity test, Herman educational attainment test and a researcher-made test were used to assess groups. Face validity of tests was confirmed by 5 experts in physics and 5 in education and training field. To assess the reliability exam fluidity, the correlation coefficient (0.95) was used. Two methods were used to test the reliability of the achievement motivation test including Cronbach’s alpha (0.87) and split-half. In split-half method, the Spearman-Brown correlation coefficient formula (0.72) was used. Test-retest method was used to determine the reliability of the tests. The correlation coefficient between the results obtained from two tests was 0.96. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software version 20 and descriptive statistics, two-sample t-parametric tests at 95%. Results : Findings showed that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of the fluidity of the experimental group (38.14) and the control group (41.71) (P = 0.027). Moreover, there was a significant difference between the mean recalling scores of the experimental group (4.42) and the control group (5.80) (P = 0.002). However, there was no significant difference between the mean scores on educational attainment in experimental group (39.18) and control group (41) (P = 0.09). Furthermore, no significant difference was observed between the mean score of educational attainment (12.23) and the control group (13.25) (P = 0.395). Conclusions : Creativity, recalling power of students in traditional classroom physics 1 was more than the smart classroom at the end of the school year. Moreover, there was no significant difference between the two classes regarding the educational attainment and the achievement motivation.
Background: The issue of lifestyle and the need for families to be familiar with the components of this lifestyle on the one hand and the issue of intergenerational gap between parents and children ...on the other hand, is one of the most important issues in the field of family pathology today. Despite the importance of developing an educational model based on the Islamic lifestyle in order to reduce the intergenerational gap, this issue has been neglected in studies. Aims: The aim of this study was to develop and validate the educational model of parents based on the Islamic lifestyle in order to reduce the generation gap. Method: This study was based on a mixed exploratory design (qualitative and quantitative approach). In the qualitative part, the descriptive-analytical method is used and in the quantitative part, the survey method is used. The research population included all the theoretical foundations related to the Islamic lifestyle pattern and the intergenerational gap and other reliable sources related to this field, and 15 education specialists and experts in this field were used to validate the model. Purposeful sampling method was used for sampling. Data collection methods were document review, and field model validation. Data collection tools were phishing and a researcher-made questionnaire. In order to analyze the data in the qualitative part, the inferential analytical method was used and in the quantitative part, the descriptive statistical index was used, which included the frequency and average frequency. Results: The findings of the study led to the development of an educational model for parents based on the Islamic lifestyle, including goals, principles, content, methods and methods of evaluation. The obtained validity was confirmed. Conclusions: The parental education model based on the Islamic lifestyle extracted from the present study can be used to reduce the generation gap between parents and adolescent children.
Spiritual self-awareness is defined as a person's knowledge and awareness of all human capacities, namely innate and God-given talents, which is meant to understand the existence of God, to ...communicate with God, creation and nature, as well as to achieve faith and belief in purposefulness and immortality of human life in order to reach balance and transcendence of the soul. Our goal is to examine more closely the components of spiritual self-awareness in Heavenly Gifts curriculum assigned to second grade of Iran's elementary education system. The research findings in terms of goals, content, teaching and assessment methods are as follows: Goal, content and teaching methods: the component of spiritual beliefs highest frequency, emphasis, and greatest weight and suggested in teacher instruction manual has been in the field of knowledge, the final activities of each course are appropriate for evaluating the knowledge level of spiritual beliefs.

Background: Media literacy is one of the essential skills needed by learners in the twenty-first century. Teaching this skill requires adopting methods that stimulate thinking and reasoning among ...learners. This study aims to analyze the effect of P4C on students’ philosophical mentality and learning in a school course entitled Thinking and Media Literacy. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method employing the pretest-posttest control group design. The research population consisted of all male students studying in the tenth grade at a school in Arak, Iran, in 2018-19 academic year. The sample comprised 44 students, selected by cluster sampling, and assigned to two experimental and control groups. Data collection was performed using a philosophical mentality questionnaire and a researcher-made learning test. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, mean, frequency and standard deviation were used. Covariance analysis was applied for inferential statistics using SPSS version 23. Results: The statistical results showed that in terms of learning outcomes, the mean score in the P4C group (M=18.06, SD=1.6) was higher than in the conventional group (M=15.7, SD=1.6). There was a significant difference between learning outcome scores in the experimental and control groups (P<0.001). In addition, the mean score of philosophical mentality in the experimental group (M=146.3, SD=8.7) was significantly higher than that in the control group (M=131.8, SD=11.7), (P<00.1). Conclusion: Considering the findings of this study, it is suggested that the prominent principles in P4C programs be used in teaching the Thinking and Media Literacy course.

Background and Objective: As universal concept that generally denotes a connection with a transcendental power and specifically ...defined as a search for finding a purpose in life, spirituality has gained attention in academic, educational, and cultural areas more than before. Therefore, it is a necessity to design and use the proper tools to measure this phenomenon. This study aims to develop and validate a questionnaire to “measure spirituality” among university students. Methods: This is a descriptive-analytical study with a statistical society of 464 university students in Sanandaj province. The research tools include a demographic and a spirituality questionnaire. Data analysis involved a two-phase approach including an exploratory factor analysis using principal components analyses method via varimax rotation approach, and confirmatory factor analysis using structural equation modeling. In this study, all the ethical considerations were observed and the authors reported to conflicts of interest. Results: The results of Exploratory factor analysis pointed to the existence of two main dimensions named spiritual experiences and religious experiences which explained 56% of the variance in the spirituality questionnaire. Cronbach alpha coefficient for the dimensions confirmed in factor analysis including spirituality experiences and religious experiences and for the whole questionnaire was 0/88, 0/90, and 0/92, respectively. Convergent validity of the spirituality questionnaire, measured by Parsian and Dunning Spirituality questionnaire, was 0/66. Conclusion: The findings indicated that, Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) of this model is acceptable and could be used as a reliable tool in measurement of university students’ spirituality scale, health psychology, and spirituality well-being. This study is aimed to evaluate the context and input quality of gifted students’ first secondary school’s curriculum in Khuzestan based on CIPP evaluation model. The statistical population of this ...study consisted of teachers, students and experts. A total of 80 teachers, and 248 third grade students using Morgan table and 9 experts using census sampling consist the statistical samples of this study for questionnaire. Regarding interview, teachers and students, were interviewed sufficiently. Two structured checklists were used, in which requested information are obtained based on documents, observation and getting information from educators. Cronbach's alpha of teachers’ questionnaire was 0.858, students’ questionnaire was 0.901, and Experts questionnaire was 0.0862. In this study, peer evaluation method was used to determine the reliability of interviews. In order to determine content and face validity, 5 experts’ comments were received in this regard. In addition, indicators, criteria, factors, mean, and standard deviation analysis method was used. In analyzing the data obtained from interviews, categorization method was used, and in analysis of checklists the difference between existing and desired conditions was evaluated. Finally, we concluded that quality of curriculum in Khuzestan gifted students’ schools was based on CIPP model in context and input dimension.
Current research aims to clarify the effective factors of hidden curriculum of schools o the establishment of the general goals of religious education in elementary period.This research is practical ...in regard to classification of the researches on the base of purpose and approaches the issue in phenomenological manner. Statistical population of the research includes all the principals, teachers and boy students of fifth and sixth grades of elementary schools in Ahvaz city and the samples of the research are selected through purposive sampling.Data are gathered through unstructured interview conducted by means of open answer questions and have been continued as much as saturation of the data.Grounded theory procedure or theory derived from data is used to analyze the data and to achieve intended model (theory) of the research and it includes four stages: 1-Coding 2-conceptualizing 3-Categorizing 4-Compiling the theory (model) of findings : In the next stage, 15 concepts of these codes are extracted and in the third stage, the mentioned concepts are organized in form of 5 categories(factor) : cognitive environment , social environment, physical environment, administrative environment, religious environment, and in the last stage, research theory (model) is formed on the base of discovered categories.
