The cell membranal liquid-ordered (Lo) phase can control the structure and function of cell membranes. In this study, we have engineered a novel two-photon (TP) fluorescent probe,
TP-HVC18
, which ...remarkably displayed two different fluorescence emission profiles in the aggregate and solution states in distinct polar environments. In accordance with its aggregate fluorescence,
TP-HVC18
also can emit a red fluorescence signal in Lo phase vesicles. Taking advantage of this unique feature, we have demonstrated that the new TP probe
TP-HVC18
is suitable for imaging membranal Lo phase by an aggregate fluorescence method. Furthermore, the robust probe also exhibited uncontinuous red fluorescence distribution in the cell membranal Lo phase. Based on this intriguing character, we also successfully showed that the novel probe can be employed to exhibit uncontinuous distribution of cell membranal Lo phase by a 3D imaging technique. We expect that this aggregation-based fluorescent platform may be extended for the development of a wide variety of TP fluorescent probes for detecting several biological species.

The loess-paleosol deposited in the Central Asian is a sensitive indicator for studying the evolution of the Quaternary paleoclimate in the westerly regions, providing additional insight into the ...Quaternary climate history and its relationship with global climatic changes. Based on the analysis of grain size, low frequency magnetic susceptibility and geochemical elements of the Talede loess-paleosol sequences, the characteristics of environmental proxies and the records of global abrupt climatic events were discussed in this paper. The results show that the values of environmental proxies in paleosol are significantly higher than those in loess of section; particles of grain size (18O of Greenland ice core, the grain size of Lijiayuan and the Zr/Rb of the Loess Plateau (LP). But the abrupt climatic events (e.g. Heinrich and YD events) in the record of Talede section are clearer than those in Lijiayuan and LP sections. The increasting temperature during MIS3 and the influenced by westerly are the key factors t
A AgSCF3/Na2S2O8-promoted trifluoromethylthiolation/cascade cyclization of o-propargyl arylazides (or o-alkynyl benzylazides) triggered by a carbon–carbon triple bond is reported. This strategy ...provides the synthesis of valuable SCF3-substituted quinoline and isoquinoline systems via the construction of one C(sp2)–SCF3 bond and one C–N bond within one process.

We present a study on pulsations of the high-amplitudeδScuti star YZ Boo based on photometric observations in Johnson V and R bands with both the Nanshan 1-m telescope of Xinjiang Astronomical ...Observatory(XAO)and the Xinglong 85-cm telescope of National Astronomical Observatories,Chinese Academy of Sciences(NAOC).Fourier analysis of the light curves reveals the fundamental radial mode and its five harmonics, with the fourth and fifth being newly detected.Thirtynine new times of maximum light are determined from the light curves, and combined with those in the literature,we construct the O-C diagram, derive a new ephemeris and determine a new value for the updated period of 0.104091579(2).In addition, the O-C diagram reveals an increasing rate of period change for YZ Boo.Theoretical models are calculated and constrained with the observationally determined parameters of YZ Boo.The mass and age of YZ Boo are hence derived as M=1.61±0.05 M_⊙ and age=(1.44±0.14)×10~9 yr,respectively. With both the frequency of the fundamental radial mode and the rate of period change,YZ Boo is located at the post main sequence stage.
To provide an overview of the incidence of knee donor -site morbidity after autologous osteochondral mosaicplasty.
A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, EMbase, Wanfang Medical Network, and ...CNKI databases from January 2010 to April 20, 2021. Relevant literature was selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and data were evaluated and extracted. The correlation between the number and size of transplanted osteochondral columns and donor-site morbidity was analyzed.
A total of 13 literatures were included, comprising a total of 661 patients. Statistical analysis revealed an incidence of knee donor-site morbidity at 8.6% (57/661), with knee pain being the most common complaint, accounting for 4.2%(28/661). There was no significant correlation between the number of osteochondral columns and postoperative donor-site incidence (
=0.424,
=10), nor between the diameter size of osteochondral columns and postoperative donor-site incidence(
=0.699,
=7).

Pathological examination of liver biopsies remains the gold standard for evaluating the stage of hepatic fibrosis, which are a number of disadvantages associated with biopsy. The aim of the present ...study was to investigate the potential of exosomal microRNA (miR)-155 as a non-invasive biomarker for the diagnosis and progression of hepatic fibrosis.
Exosomal miR-155 quantity was analyzed by sampling serum exosomes of patients with hepatic fibrosis and a hepatic fibrosis rat model. A total of 94 patients were divided into three groups based on Child-Pugh rating. Additionally, 30 patients with primary liver fibrosis who underwent liver transplantation were divided into the low miR-155 expression group and the high expression group; 56 rats were divided into 7 groups (n=8, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks). Rats in every group were intravenously injected with CCl4 (3% vol/vol in olive oil; 0.3 mL/100 g body weight) twice weekly to produce different degrees of liver necrosis and liver fibrosis.
Exosomal miR-155 was found to be closely associated with the progression of cirrhosis and clinical prognostic indicators of cirrhosis. Exosomal miR-155 gradually increased with the severity of hepatic necrosis and fibrosis.
The findings of the present study indicate that exosomal miR-155 can act as a non-invasive biomarker for the diagnosis and progression of hepatic fibrosis.
Indoor positioning technology is interfered by complex environment, mobility and other factors, which leads to the diversification of positioning methods. Mobile label and fixed relative coordinate ...measurement are divided by mobile distinguishability, forming a combined trend estimation method not based on RSSI value measurement, positioning near unknown label, achieving positioning accuracy and practicability.
Cereals and cereal-based products are easily polluted by mycotoxins in all aspects of production, storage and transportation, and mycotoxins are difficult to prevent due to their variety, low ...concentration, strong toxicity andlarge difference in nature. This paper summarizes the new development of the pretreatment technologies (liquid-liquid extraction, solid-phase extraction, QuEChERS, immunoaffinity chromatography) and detection technologies (immunochromatography technology, optical spectrum technology, liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) of mycotoxins in cereals and products. The development trend of mycotoxin detection technologies was also prospected.
