Sentiment Analysis (SA), also called Opinion Mining, is currently one of the most studied research fields. It aims to analyze people’s sentiments, opinions, attitudes, emotions, etc., towards ...elements such as topics, products, individuals, organizations, and services. Different techniques and software tools are being developed to carry out Sentiment Analysis. The goal of this work is to review and compare some free access web services, analyzing their capabilities to classify and score different pieces of text with respect to the sentiments contained therein. For that purpose, three well-known collections have been used to perform several experiments whose results are shown and commented upon, leading to some interesting conclusions about the capabilities of each analyzed tool.
The 1982 U. S. Supreme Court case of Plyler v. Doe, which made it possible for undocumented children to enroll in Texas public schools, was a watershed moment for immigrant rights in the United ...States. The Court struck down both a state statute denying funding for education to undocumented children and a municipal school district's attempt to charge an annual $1,000 tuition fee for each undocumented student to compensate for the lost state funding. Yet while this case has not returned to the Supreme Court, it is frequently contested at the state and local level.

Doe continues to suffer from implementation issues and requires additional litigation and vigilance to enforce the ruling. He takes a comprehensive look at the legal regime it established regarding the education of undocumented school children, moves up through its implementation, including direct and indirect attacks on it, and closes with the ongoing, highly charged debates over the Development, Relief, and Education for Minors (DREAM) Act, which aims to give conditional citizenship to undocumented college students who graduated from US high schools and have been in the country for at least five years.

Areas covered: The vaccinomics approach combines omics technologies and bioinformatics for the characterization of tick-host-pathogen molecular interactions and the development of next-generation vaccines. The two main challenges of the vaccinomics approach are the integration and analysis of omics datasets, and the development of screening platforms for the identification of candidate protective antigens. To address these challenges we propose the application of intelligent Big Data analytic techniques for the high throughput discovery and characterization of tick and pathogen derived candidate vaccine protective antigens.
Expert commentary: This innovative approach should improve the development and efficacy of vaccines for the control and prevention of TBDs.

, a crystalline growth in a purely hexagonal wurtzite crystal structure, and different size and shape homogeneity depending on the amount of extract used. The band gap of the ZnO was at around 2.91 eV for all samples. The photocatalytic degradation studies were carried out using methylene blue with the zinc oxide nanoparticles under UV light; where sample M2 presented a degradation of around 83% at 120 min. These results presented a better degradation rate than commercially available zinc oxide nanoparticles.

In this work, we synthesized monometallic catalysts based on Ni, Cu, Co, Mn, Fe, Zn, and W supported on Mesoporous Santa Barbara Amorphous-15 (SBA-15) to produce hydrogen and carbon nanomaterials through catalytic methane decomposition (CMD). Highly dispersed metal oxides supported on the SBA-15 surface promotes the formation of either carbon nanotubes or carbon nanofibers after CMD. Furthermore, the catalytic activity results showed the Ni/SBA-15 catalyst performed the highest methane conversion (40%) as well as it displayed superior stability during 13 h at 500 °C (23% of conversion). The resulting nanoparticle oxides, except for the Zn sample that presented a high dispersion throughout the SBA-15.

In this work, we studied the DIPE (C6H14O) production as an oxygenated compound from the catalytic performance of Fe and Cu oxides supported over alumina, on the 2-propanol dehydration reaction. The impregnation acidity effect was investigated. Samples at acid, moderately acidic, and basic pH were prepared. They were tested at 250 °C in a pilot micro-plant at atmospheric pressure. Catalytic results concluded the Fe3O4/γ-Al2O3 impregnated to an acid pH showed the highest selectivity toward DIPE with adequate activity. All the catalysts at basic pH showed a complete selectivity to propylene (C3H6). The yield of DIPE on the acidity reflects that is a linear function, which is valuable for a more rational design of new catalysts. The catalysts were characterized by adsorption-desorption of N2, X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The correlation between the textural and morphological properties of our catalysts and their catalytic activity was discussed.
The capability of offering patient-centered healthcare services involves knowing the consumer needs. Many of these needs can be conveyed through opinions about services that can be found on social ...networks. The consumers/patients can express their complains, satisfaction, frustration, etc. in terms of feelings and emotions toward those services; for that reason, it is pivotal to accurately detect them. There are many recent techniques to detect sentiments or emotions, but one of the most promising is transfer learning. This allows adapting a model originally trained for a task to a different one by fine-tuning. Following this idea, the primary objective of this research is to study whether several pre-trained language models can be adapted to a task such as patient emotion detection in an efficient manner. For this purpose, seven clinical and biomedical pre-trained models and four domain-general models have been adapted to detect multiple emotions. These models have been tuned using a dataset consisting of real patient opinions which convey several emotions per opinion. The experiments carried out state the domain-specific pre-trained models outperform the domain-general ones. Particularly, Clinical-Longformer obtained the best scores, 98.18% and 95.82% in terms of accuracy and F1-score, respectively. Analyzing the patient feedback available on social networks may provide valuable knowledge about consumer sentiments and emotions, especially for healthcare managers. This information can be very interesting for purposes such as assessing the quality of healthcare services or designing patient-centered services.

3. The Ti-containing samples showed higher catalytic performance in both hydroprocessing reactions, in comparison with the Al-containing samples. The presence of Ti ions enhanced the dispersion of the supported active components, and the dispersion of the active species was related to the acidity of the supports. Finally, the W based catalysts showed higher activity in the hydroprocessing reactions than the traditional Mo based catalysts.
Aims
Hypoxia has been implicated as a cause of adipose tissue inflammation in obesity, although the inflammatory response of human adipose tissue to hypoxia is not well understood. The goal of this ...study was to define in vitro inflammatory responses of human adipose tissue to hypoxia and identify molecular mechanisms of hypoxia-induced inflammation.
Methods
The inflammatory milieu and responses of visceral (VAT) and subcutaneous (SAT) adipose tissue explants and purified stromovascular cells (SVFs) from obese and lean humans were studied in an in vitro hypoxic culture system using quantitative real-time PCR, ELISA, western blotting, immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
Results
Human adipose tissue in obesity demonstrates an increased leucocyte infiltrate that is greater in VAT than SAT and involves macrophages, T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Hypoxic culture regulates inflammatory cytokine secretion and transcription of metabolic stress response genes in human adipose tissue SVF. Adipocyte diameter is increased and adipose tissue capillary density is decreased in obese participants. Inhibition of c-Jun terminal kinase (JNK) or p38 significantly attenuates hypoxia-induced SVF inflammatory responses. Hypoxia induces phosphorylation of p38 in adipose tissue.
Conclusions
Human adipose tissue in obesity is characterised by a depot-specific inflammatory cell infiltrate that involves not only macrophages, but also T cells and NK cells. Hypoxia induces inflammatory cytokine secretion by human adipose tissue SVF, the primary source of which is adipose tissue macrophages. These data implicate p38 in the regulation of hypoxia-induced inflammation and suggest that alterations in adipocyte diameter and adipose tissue capillary density may be potential underlying causes of adipose tissue hypoxia.
