The main goal of this paper is initiation of the method for determination of possible stealing of electrical energy and for estimation of exact length location of illegal connection. Method is based ...on time domain reflectometer (TDR) principles and function.
With the existence and uniqueness of a vector value solution for the full
non-linear homogeneous Boltzmann system of equations describing multi-component
monatomic gas mixtures for binary ...interactions proved 8, we present in this
manuscript several properties for such a solution. We start by proving the gain
of integrability of the gain term of the multispecies collision operator,
extending the work done previously for the single species case 3. In
addition, we study the integrability properties of the multispecies collision
operator as a bilinear form, revisiting and expanding the work done for a
single gas 2. With these estimates, together with a control by below for the
loss term of the collision operator as in 8, we develop the propagation for
the polynomially and exponentially $\beta$-weighted $L^p_\beta$-norms for the
vector value solution. Finally, we extend such $L^p_\beta$-norms propagation
property to $p=\infty$.
To examine immunological markers in HIV-infected pregnant women.
Women enrolled in the European Collaborative Study and the Swiss HIV Pregnancy Cohort were followed throughout pregnancy according to ...similar clinical and immunological protocols. Information was recorded at various times during pregnancy and, in some centres, also 6 weeks and 6 months post-partum.
Locally-weighted linear regression analysis was used to investigate changes in markers of cellular and humoral immune function during pregnancy and immediately post-partum, taking into account the serial measurement data structure. Women who received zidovudine during pregnancy were excluded.
Four hundred and thirty-eight women had two or more measurements during pregnancy or within 6 months of delivery. Twenty-four per cent (106) of the women reported injecting drugs during pregnancy. Mean CD4 and CD8 cell counts declined to a low level 6 months before delivery, increased gradually until delivery and rose sharply to a peak level 3 months post-partum. In contrast, CD4 and CD8 percentages were stable during pregnancy, and increased slightly thereafter. The same pattern was evident for transmitting women, those delivered by Cesarean section, and women who injected drugs during pregnancy, and there was no evidence for an association with immunosuppression. Total immunoglobulin (Ig) G levels declined gradually throughout pregnancy until delivery, and increased in the 6 month post-partum period. Total IgM and IgA levels remained stable throughout pregnancy.
These findings suggest that pregnancy does not accelerate HIV progression, but in view of the intrinsic variability in serial CD4 counts, caution should be exercised when assessing changes in immunological markers in individual pregnant women.
Cloud computing is becoming a mainstream technology in enterprise environment, promising more efficient use of hardware resources through virtualization, elastic computing facilities and secure ...management of user applications. Various cloud computing architectures are emerging and several commercial and open source products on the market advertise a rich feature-set. While commercial vendors try to give potential users the (not necessarily unbiased) tools to reason on the comparative advantages of their product, the open source community trusts users to make a well-informed selection on their own. In this paper we take a look at the open source cloud solutions and discuss the criteria that can be used to evaluate the stability, performance and features of open source clouds, and compare some available solutions. The evaluation criteria focus on three main components of a cloud solution - the storage layer, the virtualization layer, and the management layer. In addition, we explain the motivation for application of open source cloud solutions from an enterprise perspective, and discuss the potential benefits of these solutions for private cloud computing environments.
In the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, 616 species of bryophytes are recorded. Endemism is low compared with the vascular flora. Only 11 taxa have been treated as local endemics, but all except one ...are now regarded as synonyms of more widespread taxa. Encalypta serbica retains its endemic status, although as a taxonomically doubtful taxon. Of the Red Listed bryophytes of Europe, 37 moss and 5 liverwort species are present in F. R. Yugoslavia. Five of these are endemic to Europe including Macaronesia. To date, no measures of bryophyte protection have been taken in F. R. Yugoslavia. However, the major centres of bryophyte diversity are situated in Scientific Reserves, Nature Conservation Reserves and National Parks.
Background: The «Questionnaire for the evaluation of occupational burnout syndrome » («Cuestionario para la evaluación del síndrome de quemarse por el trabajo (CESQT»)» has been proposed to evaluate ...this syndrome in different populations. However, it has not been used in Latin-American university students. Aim: To evaluate the dimensional structure of CESQT in medical students from Peru. Material and methods: This was an observational, analytical and cross-sectional study, that was performed in a sample of 71 medical students in the last year of their degree (also known as «Medical Internship») in a Public Hospital in Lima, Peru. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to identify the dimension structure with best fit to the data. A multivariate linear regression analysis was also performed to determine the relationship between the occupational burnout syndrome, gender, and their current clinical rotation (obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pediatrics, and internal medicine). Results: The EFA found that the two dimensions model best explained the data variability (61.8% of the variance). These two factors were called illusion and exhaustion. The linear regression showed that gender and the current clinical rotation were not associated to any of the two factors (P > .05). Illusion was inversely associated with exhaustion, even after fitting it with gender and current clinical rotation (P = .007and = -.33, respectively). Conclusion: The information included in the CESQT is summed up in two highly correlated dimensions: illusion and exhaustion that are independent gender and the current clinical rotation in which the students were involved.

Consideration of losses of electric energy in the transmission network is important for power system operation and control. Development of the remote control system in the Croatian National Control ...Centre enabled an accurate calculation of losses and their comparison with the results measured in the terminal nodes. Additional value in proposed way of determination of losses lies in the fact that losses can be allocated by voltage level, lines and transformers. A new way of calculating the percentage of losses is proposed by the authors
