The effect of nitrogen addition (1–20 %) on atmospheric argon DC arc plasma parameters was investigated. Nitrogen was added to three initial plasma gas compositions: pure argon gas, argon gas with ...water aerosol, and argon gas with water aerosol containing 0.5 % KCl. Admixtures of nitrogen from 1 up to 10 % (in the case of Ar–N
2
–water aerosol plasma) or up to 5 % (in the presence of 0.5 % KCl) produced a more contracted discharge, with larger gradients of electron number density and temperature, as compared to plasma without molecular gas addition. The opposite effect was observed in gas mixtures with 20 % of nitrogen. In that case, the arc core was expanded, and the radial profile of electron density and temperature became flatter as compared to the case of pure argon plasma. The changes in the radial structure of the discharge could be explained by increased thermal conductivity of mixed gas plasma and the presence of molecular ions. Increasing nitrogen content brings plasma closer to thermal equilibrium. To evaluate the effect of nitrogen upon analytic performance of the arc source, limits of detection (LODs) were measured for Zn, Cu, Li, and Rb. In plasma without KCl, the addition of nitrogen resulted in lowering of LODs for Cu, Li and Rb, while the opposite was observed for Zn. In the presence of KCl the addition of nitrogen had little or no effect on LODs for Cu, Li and Rb, while detection limits for Zn were increased.
Background/Aim. Stem cells (SCs) guarantee complete/longterm bone marrow (BM) repopulation after SC-transplants. The aim of the study was to evaluate absolute count of total SCs (determined by ...ISHAGE-sequential-gating protocol ? SCish) and relative frequency of immature CD34+/CD90+ (CD90+SCish) subset in peripheral blood (PB) as predictive factors of mobilization and apheresis product (AP) quality. Methods. Mobilization included chemotherapy and granulocytegrowth- factor (G-CSF). Harvesting was performed by Spectra- Optia-IDL-system. The SCsish were determined as a constitutional part of CD34+ cells in the ?stem-cell-region? using FC- 500 flow-cytometer. In this study, the original ISHAGEsequential- gating protocol was modified by introduction of anti-CD90-PE monoclonal-antibody into the analysis of CD90 expression on SCish (CD90+SCish). The results were presented as a percentage of SCish per nucleated-cell count, absolute SCish count in ?L of the PB or the AP, percentage of the CD90+SCish expressed to SCish and absolute CD90+SCish count in ?L of the PB or the AP. Results. The absolute count of total SCish and CD90+SCish was significantly higher (p = 0.0007 and p = 0.0266, respectively) in the AP than in the PB samples. The CD90+SCish/total SCish indexes from PB were higher than indexes from the AP (p = 0.039). The relative frequency of CD90+SCish showed a highly significant inverse correlation with the absolute count of total SCish in both, the PB and AP (p = 0.0003 and p = 0.0013 respectively). The relative frequency of CD90+SCish from the PB also showed a significant (p = 0.0002) inverse relationship with total SCish count in the AP. Patients with less than 10% CD90+SCish in the PB had evidently higher (p = 0.0025) total SCish count in the AP. Conclusion. We speculate that lower CD90+SCish yield in the AP is not a consequence of an inferior collection efficacy, but most likely a result of several still not fully resolved immature SC cytomorphological/ biophysical features. Therefore, following the mobilization by chemotherapy G-CSF, some logical questions appear ? whether we should follow the absolute count of total SCish, or, whether we should test for relative frequency of CD90+SCish prior to harvesting. To reach the final conclusions, it is essential to conduct further controlled and larger investigations concerning the correlation of circulating and harvested SCs with patients' hematopoietic recovery.

We concern this manuscript with Geraghty type contraction mappings via simulation functions and pull down some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of point of coincidence for ...several classes of mappings involving Geraghty functions in the setting of metric spaces. These findings touch up many of the existing results in the literature. Additionally, we elicit one of our main result by a non-trivial example and pose an interesting open problem for the enthusiastic readers.
Apart from a short history of Banat Zrenjanin, as well as descriptions of inter-ethnic events that take place in the city, the paper analyzes the function of inter-ethnic events in the city, based on ...evidence collected from the literature and the media. The analysis showed that inter-ethnic events in Zrenjanin primarily reflect the multicultural city policy to promote ethnic diversity and tolerance, as well as contribute to the development of the regional identity of Banat. Despite that fact they are often used for the revival of ethnicity, which contributes to the division in the local community.

Through the comparative analisys of several „Nora plays“ and Lu Xun’s short story Regret for the Past, on one side, and Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, on the other, this article tends to answer the ...following questions: in which way is Ibsen’s Nora received in May Fourth period’s China, and how do Chinese Noras perceive family and society? The article pays a special attention to the concequences of Nora’s leaving home, as well as to the problem of achieving the real personal autonomy.
The main object of this work is to offer a review of the criminal acts related to narcotics, especially, criminal acts unauthorized production and sale, and unauthorized keeping. These criminal acts ...are aimed primarily against human life and health, but the whole society. Abuse of narcotics prescribe in international and domestic acts. In this work observed exclusively domestic legislation. Furthermore, a special attention is paid to statistics informations about criminal acts related to narcotics.
In this paper we deal with ethnically diverse categories of residents of the Duchy and the Kingdom of Serbia in national censuses conducted between 1834 and 1910, with an accent on those conducted ...from 1862 – the period when official state statistics institutions were established. We do not deal foremost with numbers and statistical analyses, but with censuses as such –as we consider censuses to be an important instrument in the hands of the state which has the power to count, delineate and categorize the population. In this pa-per we give special attention to the relationship between the census officials and (ethnic) minorities: when and in what measure the interest in counting and documenting “others” emerges in Serbia, how they are categorized, which terms are used for minorities as such or various groups specifically, and how the data on these is interpreted. From this a certain image emerges – an image of the relationship between the state and ethnic “others”. This research displays a prominent tendency in this historical period to view minori-ties not as an integral part of the state and society, but as an alien, foreign body in it. Also, the meaning of the existence of ethnically diverse groups is often minimized, due to their alleged small numbers. Even though valid conclusions on the position of minorities in the state and society would require more thorough research and more sources, we consider the way in which ethnically diverse groups of citizens were treated in state censuses as very indicative in this sense.
