We have analyzed a data set taken over 2.76years live time with the Baikal neutrino telescope NT200. The goal of the analysis is to search for neutrinos from dark matter annihilation in the center of ...the Sun. Apart from the conventional annihilation channels bb¯, W+W- and τ+τ- we consider also the annihilation of dark matter particles into monochromatic neutrinos. From the absence of any excess of events from the direction of the Sun over the expected background, we derive 90% upper limits on the fluxes of muons and muon neutrinos from the Sun, as well as on the elastic cross sections of dark matter scattering on protons.
Introduction. The article provides a general description of Anatoly Vasiliev’s theatrical method, discussing the essence of methodological and philosophical breakthroughs in the future of Russian and ...world theaters, and, in this context, the continuity of the main tenets of Stanislavsky’s system. Methodology and sources. The article compares two theatrical concepts, two methodological, philosophical, and historical approaches of Russian and World Theatres: Stanislavski’s system and Vasiliev’s method. It determines the semiology of continuity and features of a new approach to the development of dramatic art. Results and discussion. The article highlights the elements of the Stanislavsky system present in Anatoly Vasiliev’s method, aiming to derive an algorithm for utilizing new opportunities based on established systems and techniques for training modern actors. The article's conclusions are drawn from five years of experience (since 1988) with the Vasiliev method, gained through direct contact with the master while collaborating on texts by Plato, Oscar Wilde, Fyodor Dostoevsky, William Faulkner, Thomas Mann, Erasmus of Rotterdam, and Alexander Pushkin. As the article relies on introspective research followed by epistemological analysis, it maintains a subjective nature. It is the outcome of the author’s experience working within the Anatoly Vasiliev’ s School of Dramatic Art at the GITIS acting and directing course (1988–1993), and years of observation of the method’s evolution in working with Vasiliev's students, students of theater universities, and professional actors both in Russia and abroad. Conclusion. The article does not claim to precisely represent Vasiliev’s ideas and thoughts but rather reflects the author’s journey through the rehearsal process in Vasiliev’s theater, acknowledging the internal changes experienced by the author as an actor, director, and individual within the method. It abstains from making value judgments regarding the Stanislavsky system and Vasiliev’s method, instead highlighting the most distinctive features of the theatrical method, elucidating its philosophy, and emphasizing the unity between the Stanislavsky and Vasiliev systems.

3-bearing ceramic was studied by the MCC-1 method. The ceramics exhibited very low leachability of the actinide elements comparable to or lower than that from Synrocs and pyrochlore-based ceramics for excess weapons plutonium immobilization.
The pyrochlore-type matrices containing up to 10% wt. of U, Np, Pu and Am oxides were produced by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) proposed as a method of preparation of the ceramic ...mineral-like matrices for immobilization of actinides. It was shown that basically the matrices consist of a phase of yttrium titanate having pyrochlore structure with actinides incorporated isomorphically. Stability of these matrices relative to hydrothermal leaching of the actinides at 90

In this paper we present the fusion related activities of the Plasma Physics Division at the Ioffe Institute. The first experiments on lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) in a spherical tokamak ...performed at the Globus-M tokamak (R = 0.36 m, a = 0.24 m, Bt = 0.4 T, Ip = 200 kA) with a novel poloidally oriented grill resulted in an RF driven current of up to 30 kA at (100 kW, 2.5 GHz), exceeding the modelling predictions. At the FT-2 tokamak (R = 0.56 m, a = 0.08 m, Bt = 3 T, Ip = 30 kA) experiments with a traditional toroidally oriented grill revealed no strong dependence of the LHCD density limit on the H/D ratio in spite of LH resonance densities differing by a factor of 3. Microwave Doppler reflectometry (DR) at the Globus-M, and DR and heavy ion beam probe measurements at the tokamak TUMAN-3M (R = 0.53 m, a = 0.24 m, Bt = 1.0 T, Ip = 190 kA) demonstrated geodesic acoustic mode (GAM) suppression at the L to H transition. Observations at FT-2 using Doppler Enhanced Scattering showed that the GAM amplitude is anti-correlated both spatially and temporally to the drift turbulence level and electron thermal diffusivity. For the first time turbulence amplitude modulation at the GAM frequency was found both experimentally and in global gyrokinetic modelling. A model of the L-H transition is proposed based on this effect. The loss mechanisms of energetic ions' (EI) were investigated in the neutral beam injection (NBI) experiments on Globus-M and TUMAN-3M. Empirical scaling of the 2.45 MeV DD neutron rate for the two devices shows a strong dependence on toroidal field and plasma current justifying the Bt and Ip increase by a factor of 2.5 for the proposed upgrade of Globus-M. Bursts of ∼1 MHz Alfvenic type oscillations correlating with sawtooth crashes were observed in ohmic TUMAN-3M discharges. The possibility of low threshold parametric excitation of Bernstein and upper hybrid waves trapped in drift-wave eddies resulting in anomalous absorption in electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) experiments in toroidal plasmas was identified theoretically. A novel method of radial correlation Doppler reflectometry is shown to be capable of measuring the turbulence wave-number spectrum in realistic 2D geometry. On the progress in design and fabrication of three diagnostics for ITER developed in the Ioffe institute is reported: neutral particle analysis, divertor Thomson scattering and gamma spectroscopy.
The indoor radon radiation dose in buildings may be estimated by measuring the radon exhalation rate from the walls. We show that the classical accumulator method produces the same results with ...either passive or active radon detectors.
The main method of elimination of stenosis of carotid arteries in atherosclerosis is the surgical operation. Meanwhile, there is no general opinion concerning the most efficient way of the ...performance of the operation. This research generalized an experience of performing the classic carotid endarterectomy with usage the temporary shunt and an autovenous patch in 167 patients. The most frequent complications were analyzed in standard groups. The advantages of the given method were determined, facilitating to the reduction of intraoperative risks and the increase of technical quality of performance of different stages of the operation. The work quotes 8 works.

As an important milestone, the first GVD ...engineering array has been deployed and ran in April, 2011. Application of a completely new technology gave us an opportunity to study all the basic elements of the future full detector and to finalize the GVD technical design. We discuss the configuration and the design of the engineering array as well as data performance with the preliminary results.
The liquid-liquid extraction, recovery of Np(VI) and Np(V) from the solution of Na.sub.2CO.sub.3 by methyltrioctylammonium carbonate in toluene was investigated. By the graphic slope analyses method, ...as well as by recording of absorption spectra for obtained solutions and method of calculated determination of solution properties taking into account water activity, composition was established for the carbonate complexes of Np(VI) and Np(V) being extracted, which, depending on extraction conditions, can be expressed by the following formulae's: (R.sub.4N).sub.2Np.sup.VIO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.2, (R.sub.4N).sub.3Np.sup.VO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.2, (R.sub.4N).sub.6Np.sup.VIO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.4, (R.sub.4N).sub.2Np.sup.VIO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.2·2(R.sub.4N).sub.2CO.sub.3, (R.sub.4N).sub.5Np.sup.VO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.3, (R.sub.4N).sub.7Np.sup.VO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.4, (R.sub.4N).sub.3Np.sup.VO.sub.2(CO.sub.3).sub.2·(1-2)(R.sub.4N).sub.2CO.sub.3, where R.sub.4N is the quaternary ammonium cation. The results have been obtained in the experiments, has much interest both in the field of alkaline radioactive waste management and with respect to their usage for extraction of transuranium elements during reprocessing of alkaline radioactive waste, as well as for liquid-liquid extraction purification of uranium and plutonium from admixtures of fission products. These techniques are used within the framework of a new alternative method for reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel in carbonate media the CARBEX (CARBonate EXtraction) process.
