From the very beginnings of software era, enterprise environments have been one of the greatest generators of demand for complex software systems. Attempts to satisfy these ever growing needs for ...enterprise software systems have had a m ixed success. Software reuse has been one of the leverage mechanisms software producers had at their disposal, and through the year’s different reuse approaches emerged. One of the most successful large scale reuse approaches in enterprise environment are Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, which intend to reuse domain analysis and best practices in doing business, as well as software design and implementation. However, in literature, ERP systems are seldom viewed and described as one of the reuse approaches. Therefore, in this paper we aim at systematically analyzing ERP systems from the software reuse perspective in order to gain better insight into their characteristics, constituent elements, and relationships.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are the most frequently used software tool in companies in all industries. Therefore, the labour market requires the knowledge and skills for usage of ERP ...solutions from graduates – future employees. The main objective of our paper is therefore the identification of important factors that contribute to the acceptance of ERP solutions by students in economics and business and that shape their intentions to use this knowledge in the future. The model of our research is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), extended by identified important multidimensional external factors that refer to (1) students’ personal characteristics and information literacy, (2) perceived system and technological characteristics of ERP solutions and (3) perceived support within the study process. Research results revealed that several dimensions of the three multidimensonal factors play an important role in shaping the attitudes towards acceptance of ERP solutions by students.
The central role in development of information society is taken by smart cities and their novel services through the use of modern technology and smart solutions. The key enabler and driver of smart ...cities is Internet of Things (IoT). In this paper, we have conducted a systematic literature review in order to investigate proposed smart city services driven by IoT. We have formulated the review protocol to define the research question/s, search strategy, selection criteria, study quality assessment, and data extraction strategy. We have defined the following main research question: What are the reported applications of Internet of Things in the development of smart city services? The papers were categorized by the smart city services they proposed or described. We have recognized the following categories: traffic and transport; environment monitoring; accessibility & healthcare; waste management; public lighting; energy management; city infrastructure; and other.
As an answer to today’s growing challenges in software industry, wide spectrum of new approaches of software development has occurred. One prominent direction is currently most promising software ...development paradigm called Model Driven Development (MDD). Despite a lot of skepticism and problems 8, MDD paradigm is being used and improved to accomplish many inherent potential benefits. In the methodological approach of software development it is necessary to use some kind of development process. Modern methodologies can be classified into two main categories: plan-driven/traditional or heavyweight and agile or lightweight. But when it is a question about MDD and development process for MDD, currently known methodologies are very poor or better said they don't have any explanation of MDD process5, 7. As the result of research, in this paper, author examines the possibilities of using existing modern software methodologies in context of MDD paradigm.
After exploring the concept of m-learning, this paper focuses on defining a SWOT analysis of mobile learning with detail discussion of each element. Finding important relationships by matching well ...know SWOT variables in a systematic fashion is a next step of research where using a algorithm which can provide a help in defining appropriate strategy. The result of our research is a conceptual framework for defining strategies for mobile learning, which will help primarily universities or other educational institutions in estimating their own position and creating the strategy for adopting m-learning into their curriculums which make a valuable contribution for the future research in this area.

The constant need for harmonization and improvement of competencies in changing labour market conditions leads to an increased need for standard definition/description for particular occupation. An ...occupational standard is a document that outlines the competencies required for a specific job. It is generated using a well-defined methodology and data collection. This article describes the process of developing occupational standards in four areas: 1) management of information security and privacy systems, 2) distributed and interactive systems, 3) management of business system transformation and innovation, and 4) data technology and artificial intelligence.
The idea of low-code/no-code (LCNC) platforms is not new. It roots back in time of software engineering approach called Model Driven Development (MDD) 1. But since new technological development, ...growing business demands and changes based on digital transformation and accompanying technologies are omnipresent, they will try to transform ways of modern businesses and their information system. These platforms have opened up a new world of possibilities, enabling businesses, or to be exact business/non-developer users, to develop small software solutions faster, with greater agility, scalability and smaller software development cost. This paper discusses the nature of applying LCNC platforms in the context of ERP systems. To be more precise, focus of paper is on presenting domains in which extensions or small apps can be develop by LCNC platforms and in that way improve ERP systems.
Rapid development of mobile technology and the increasing availability of wireless mobile devices in everyday life have created new acronym known as mobile learning (m-learning) which has emerged as ...a potential educational environment to support learning and make significant contributions as extension of e-learning. Taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of using m-learning and key factors for successful adoption of mobile learning that are analyzed through this article, the paper focuses on the evaluation of the potential use of m-learning. For this purpose, a research was conducted on the population of students who, during the whole higher education, where using e-learning as an obligatory element of education at University of Zagreb. Results of our research shows that students, as mobile users, are not yet ready to become a mobile learners.
Augmented reality (AR) is one of technologies that lately brings its potential to society. At the same time, all the positive features brought by digital transformation and industry 4.0 are trying to ...be united in order to create even more added value to a business. Since ERP systems are the foundation of every business, research into the application of augmented reality in the context of ERP systems has great importance and represents an interesting scientific and practical problem. In addition to identifying benefits, opportunities, limitations and application area of using augmented reality in ERP systems this paper also presents one proof of concept (PoC) scenario implementing an augmented reality mobile application for showing 3D models through which extended functionality of ERP system can be achieved and new business value can be created. During development, methodological approach based on extreme programming (XP) was used.

Selection of an ERP system is extremely important and complex process about whose outcome directly depends the company's success. The goal of this research is to identify, analyze and classified key ...criteria for selecting ERP systems and then via study apply those results to Croatian companies. The study is based on the comprehensive literature review, where key criteria for selecting ERP systems were systematized in two categories. Then, the online survey was designed and conducted for two target groups: Croatian companies that have implemented ERP system (Users) and companies that implement ERP systems (Consultant). Survey results gives the perception of the importance of certain key criteria per categories from different perspectives. Also, for Croatian companies that have implemented the ERP system, study analyze the importance of particular defined criteria per additional dimensions: years of experience in using ERP systems, enterprise size and type of business.
