An experimental test bench is proposed in order to analyze the trajectory shape described by the termination of the Jansen’s type of leg mechanism during a walking sequence. A prototype of a walking ...robot based upon Jansen walking mechanism is constructed for this purpose. A marker is placed at the end of the leg and a CCD camera recorded the trajectory shape described by the leg driven by a DC motor through a crank. The results are interpreted with the help of a program based on image processing created for determining the length and the height of the step during walking after studying the trajectory.
Studies addressing the needs of cancer patients highlight the necessity to identify what types of informational and support needs are specific to women of reproductive age after primary treatment for ...breast cancer. We developed a questionnaire for evaluating informational and treatment decision, psychological and socio-familial needs in young breast cancer patients following treatment.
101 patients of reproductive age, treated for breast cancer at the Oncology Institute "Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuta", Cluj-Napoca, between 2006 and 2013 were included. They all had completed surgery, chemo-radiotherapy, and were receiving hormone therapy. The questionnaire named Breast Cancer following Treatment Needs Assessment Scale (BCTNAS) consisted of 21 6-point Likert items. The validation procedures used were: construct validity performed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliability and internal consistency analysis using ordinal Cronbach's alpha (α) and ordinal Omega (ω) correlation coefficients.
According to EFA, the questionnaire evidenced four factors: needs concerning medical information and treatment decisions (PA1), needs for psycho-spiritual support (PA2), needs for socio-familial support (PA3), needs concerning medical support/assistance (PA4). The items of BCTNAS reported factor loadings (λi) greater than 0.40 for PA1 factor, λi ≥0.31 for PA2, λi ≥0.53 for PA3 and λi ≥0.33 for PA4, respectively. Reliability analysis demonstrated that BCTNAS is reliable: ordinal Cronbach's alpha of 0.81 (95% IC: 0.75-0.86) and ordinal omega of 0.85 (95% IC: 0.68-0.82) for the total scale score, with very good internal consistency.
The BCTNAS questionnaire provides a potential instrument to identify and assess the needs of breast cancer patients in the post-treatment period, having a positive impact on the quality of patient care.
This comprehensive study analyzes the influence of re-steel and RCS textiles on color consistency within the realm of sustainable printing, specifically focusing on Avira and Iconiq brands under XD ...Connects organization. Employing methodologies encompassing color absorbance analysis, ink compatibility testing on laser, CMYK inkjet printers, and heat presses, this research provides an exploration of color absorbance and printing efficacy. The primary emphasis lies on understanding the unique interplay between these eco-friendly textiles and color representation, offering a novel perspective on their integration into sustainable printing processes.
There has been an increased debate in the last decades around the study of identity, as many scholars considered it a dynamic concept, which can hardly be measured. Qualitative studies and ...phenomenology especially allows us to study the phenomenon of identity from the involved individual's perspective. Following the roots of phenomenological studies, in this article we present a study based on the life stories of two older adults of Roma ethnicity. Our focus is on the social construction of identity, in the context of inter-generational reproduction of labor and education as social structures.

The theme of this study is how to do a smart planning of the enterprise resources that combine the most important key operations for each resource used in companies (Human resources, financial ...resources, Production resources, Logistics resources). The study case is for an enterprise that has as principal activity the product customization, but this system of planning can be applied in other areas of activity also. The system proposed aims to present the most important criteria 's of planning the resources in each area and how to highlight and interpretate the results obtained. As advantages of this way of planning together the resources of an enterprise we can count a good organization of the production, human resources, financial resources and stocks. The main impact after a good organization of the enterprise resources is to limit the financial and material losses, but also to obtain a good profit after selling the service or the products. The objectives of the study are plan the production resources using the specific formulas of calculating the capacity needed of each operation for production, plan the human resources needed and the costs with them, calculate the stock needed for production, calculate de cost of production and delivery, highlight the results in graphics. In order to obtain all these results we used Saga Software and Qlik Sense platform. The Saga Software was used in order to enter all the information about materials consume, human resources needed and the costs with them, obtain all the official documents needed for receive the materials, do the paying, collect the payments, administrate the stocks of materials needed, depreciation of technological equipment. Qlik Sense is used to do the Gantt chart for human resource planning, divide the production capacity needed and highlight the results obtained into graphics.
For stability and impact reaction forces assessment of a quadruped robot during walking, a dynamic analysis is considered. For this purpose, a variant of a quadruped robot based on Jansen mechanism ...is presented. For interpreting the influence of the reaction forces from the ground during walking, the analysis was conducted with help of ADAMS software using a 3D model of the robot. Material specifications, forces and moments acting in the robot structure were considered. Graphical results obtained regarding the ground reaction forces are displayed. Also a reduced mass moment of inertia at the crankshaft is taken into consideration based on Lagrange motion equation and generalized coordinates.
The article is based on research with different age segments of Roma children and youth, whose self-concepts are marked by the perceptions of the Roma identity in the public opinion. The authors look ...at vulnerabilities reflected in the identities of Roma school children of different ages, as they appear in children's self-esteem and future orientation. We show fragments of testimonials of children living in Roma communities and interpret them according to different psychological, psychoanalytical and social approaches. We reveal some of the unifying elements of all children's identity formation, but also some of the context specific differential elements related to the development as a Roma child, living in a specific neighbourhood and learning in a certain school. Our goal is to draw attention to the mechanisms that can lower the educational aspirations of Roma children and adolescents and might contribute to the appearance of frustration and thus the reproduction of feelings of alterity and marginality.
