This research explores newspaper records regarding earthquake events during the Dutch colonial period in Padang, West Sumatra. This note is vital amidst the difficulties in acquiring historical ...statistical data for studying disasters in the past. The method used in this research is the historical method by integrating information in newspapers, particularly those that discuss the situation of society and the policies of the Dutch colonial government in dealing with various earthquakes taking place in the city of Padang during the colonial period. This research is expected to open new insights for developing the discipline of disaster science and provide access to the development of historical disaster studies in disaster-prone countries, in this case, in Indonesia.

The data ...taken came from the help of the r studio program, which is bibliometric r-packages software. The type of data listed is journal articles. In this study related to loose parts, there were increases and decreases in publication numbers, and the highest production peaks in 2018 were 30 articles. The author who produces the most articles about loose parts media for early childhood is Cao, with 14 articles. The country that produces the most articles related to loose parts is the USA, with 332 articles. Most author affiliations are at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, growing from 2007 to 2023, producing 63 articles. The topic trend is that more and more researchers are using loose part materials in various fields, which will make the research carried out more meaningful and more up-to-date.
This paper discusses learning evaluation through test techniques, which are conducted on fifth-grade elementary school students on Mathematics learning subjects. The research is a type of ...quantitative descriptive research using the ex post facto method. The instrument used was 20 items of math subject matter questions, which were collected through a written test technique on students. The data obtained were analyzed using the Rasch Model assisted by the Winstep program through an empirical validity process, which includes validity, reliability, and difficulty level tests. The results indicate that in the validity test, items were invalid. In the reliability test, there were 2 reliabilities, Person Reliability was categorized as very good and Item Reliability was categorized as weak. Whereas on the results of the question difficulty level was categorized as very difficult. The implication of the research is that the research can be a reference for other researchers in conducting research on identifying and analyzing question items. When designing the questions, it is expected that a review will be carried out regarding the material that will be discussed on the test.
This experimental research was motivated by a problem in learning Indonesian: the low score of students' learning outcomes in writing procedural texts. Based on this, this research was conducted to ...know the effect of the Example Non Example learning model and learning motivation on the skills of writing procedure text. The samples of this study were students in grade 7-I (experimental class) and grade 7-H (control class) at MTs Negeri 4 Pasaman Barat for the academic year 2020/2021. The data of this research are the score of the learning motivation questionnaire and the test scores for writing procedural text writing skills in the experimental and control classes. The final results of this study indicate that the Example Non Example learning model has a good effect on the writing skills of the seventh-grade students of MTs Negeri 4 Pasaman Barat. It can be seen from the scores of students' procedural text writing skills taught using the Example Non Example cooperative learning model better than students taught using conventional learning models. Furthermore, there is also an interaction between the Example Non-Example learning model and learning motivation so that students can write procedure texts better.
This study aims to review the effectiveness of the think pair share method on explanatory text writing skills in terms of learning styles. This type of research is quantitative with the 2x2 factorial ...experimental method. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kinali. Research data was collected using a questionnaire and performance test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) the explanatory text writing skills of students who study using the think pair share method are higher than students who study using conventional methods, (2) the explanatory text writing skills of students who have high learning styles who study with the think pair share method are higher than students who learn by conventional methods, (3) the explanatory text writing skills of students who have low learning styles who study with the think pair share method are higher than students who learn by conventional methods, and (4) there is an interaction between the think pair share method and learning styles in influencing the skills of writing explanatory texts.
Pandemi Covid-19 telah meresahkan seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu kebijakan yang diberlakukan di Indonesia untuk menekan penularan Covid-19 adalah PSBB. PSBB yang telah digagas oleh ...pemerintah tidak membuat masyarakat sadar akan bahaya Covid-19, sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap penyebarannya yang begitu cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keresahan komika terhadap masyarakat Indonesia yang melanggar aturan pemerintah dalam menghadapi wabah Covid-19, kajian ini dilihat dari perspektif Sosiocultural Practice Norman Fairclough. Sumber data penelitian adalah video dalam konten Dewan Perwakilan Omel-Omel (DPO) yang diunggah di Instagram @bintangemon tentang corona. Data penelitian ini berupa kata atau kalimat yang diucapkan Bintang Emon dalam video #DPOcorona dan #DPOcorona2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Analisis data dengan cara mengelompokkan data sesuai dengan kategori yang digunakan. Kemudian, dilakukan pemaparan data yang menggunakan teknik analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough dari sosial-budaya dimensi praktik yang meliputi situasional, institusional, dan sosial. Langkah terakhir adalah melakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek situasional, aspek institusional, dan aspek sosial memang sengaja dibuat dan diunggah oleh Bintang Emon. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan keresahan terhadap masyarakat Indonesia yang tidak mengindahkan himbauan pemerintah tentang penerapan sistem Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB). Selain itu, keresahannya tentang oknum-oknum yang menyalahgunakan alat-alat kesehatan serta oknum yang mengambil kesempatan untuk meraih keuntungan pribadi di tengah pandemi Covid-19 ini.
The online learning process necessitates the utilization of diverse and creative learning resources by teachers. Nevertheless, a preliminary analysis revealed that Whatsapp, Zoom, and PowerPoint ...continue to dominate the learning media landscape. The usage of these media has not been able to aid educators in developing dialogic exchanges in the learning process, particularly when it comes to the acquisition of language. On this basis, the objective of this research is to build dialogic-interactive media in language learning to enhance students’ speaking abilities in online learning. This is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the Plomp Development paradigm (Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase & Assessment Phase). In the Assessment Phase, researchers tested the products that had been developed to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the developed media. The research instruments are in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. The research subjects were students of MTsN 1 Padang. The results showed that dialogic-interactive media was effective in increasing students’ speaking skills in online learning.
Abstrak: Project-based learning merupakan suatu bentuk kegiatan yang berfokus kepada siswa sebagai pemelajar aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas project-based learning dalam dunia ...pendidikan dengan mengambil data dari Scopus dan mengolah metadata menggunakan aplikasi bibliometric selama rentang 3 tahun terakhir, yakni 2021-2023. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan 4 langkah, yaitu: 1) sumber data didapat dari jurnal yang berindeks Scopus; 2) metadata jurnal yang didapatkan kemudian diunduh dalam format CSV; 3) memeriksa hasil artikel dan mengambil sesuai dengan pertanyaan penelitian; 4) mengolah data yang didapatkan menggunakan aplikasi bibliometric. Hasil penemuan terhadap artikel sebelumnya diketahui bahwa publikasi artikel tentang project-based learning merupakan pembelajaran yang banyak mendapat perhatian dan minat di bidang pendidikan, mulai tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi, khususnya pada rentang tahun 2021-2023. Penelitian ini berguna untuk memahami status penelitian terbaru saat ini, khususnya di bidang pendidikan anak usia dini agar bisa menetukan arah penelitian yang dilakukan ke depannya. Abstract: Project-based learning is a form of activity that focuses on students as active learners. This study aimed to discuss project-based learning in the world of education by taking data from Scopus and processing metadata using a bibliometric application for the last three years, namely from 2021-2023. The four steps to collect data of the study are: 1) data sources were obtained from Scopus-indexed journals; 2) the obtained journal metadata was then downloaded in CSV format; 3) the researchers examined the results of the articles and took them according to the research questions; 4) the researchers processed the data using the bibliometric application. The results of the findings on previous articles show that the publication of articles on project-based learning is learning that has received considerable attention and interest in education, both at the higher education level and at the initial foundation education, particularly in 2021-2023. This research is beneficial for understanding the status of the latest research, especially in early childhood education, to determine the direction of future research.

This article ...discusses religious character education which is concretely based on the values of the teachings of each religion and the implementation of religious character education that can be carried out in schools, families and communities synergistically in shaping the religious character of students and in this article uses bilbiometric analysis which uses Scopus indexed journal on the development of religious character education studies: Bilbiometric analysis on the Scopus database. The purpose of the bilbiometric analysis in this study was to find out the top 5 year developments related to the development of religious character education studies. Specifically, this article aims to find out the development of religious character education literature from 2018 to 2022, major journals, authors, affiliates, countries and documents in the field of character education, trending topics related to religious character education, classifications and future character education topics that will provide more research opportunities. Data collected from the Scopus database using the keyword "religious character education". The author uses bilbioshiny software to analyze and visualize the database that has been obtained. The results of this study indicate that the citation analysis shows the number of citations per year from 2018-2022, namely 1,102 documents. Keane, W is a researcher who has the greatest productivity, namely 78 citations.
