Mangrove area is an area overgrown mangrove in a natural or artificial, to maintain the environmental sustainability of coastal areas. In addition to maintaining the ecosystem of biodiversity, the ...mangrove area also has a role to social-economic, and socio-cultural. Rembang regency is one of the districts on the north coast of Java which has a large mangrove area. However, due to the high economic activity in the region of Rembang Regency, the mangrove area becomes less and damaged. This research to describe how environmental policy to manage mangrove area in Rembang regency with qualitative descriptive approach. The result is the role of government and society gradually able to restore mangrove ecosystem. Moreover the district government through Environmental Agency has made a masterplan for the development of mangrove ecotourism in Pasarbanggi Village. The existence of sustainable mangrove conservation has a positive impact on the environment and society.
This research aims to find out the governance at the Talangagung Education Tourism Final Processing Site (TPA) to overcome the waste problem. Waste is a community product that can cause environmental ...problems. Talangagung Educational Tourism Landfill, the largest landfill in Malang Regency has major challenges in waste management. The volume of waste at the Talangagung education tourism landfill every year continues to increase. Waste that is not managed properly will be based on the environment because it can cause pollution. This research is focused on waste to energy conducted by Talangagung Education Tourism Landfill in waste management. Paying attention to waste governance refers to Good Environmental Governance which involves all members of the public both from the government, the private sector, and the general public. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with primary data through interviews and observations, as well as secondary data derived from research-related literature studies. The result in the implementation of waste governance at the Talangagung education tourism landfill with energy waste can meet the principles of good governance that produce benefits for the surrounding community. In conclusion, Talangagung Education Tourism Landfill can carry out waste governance with the latest energy for better environmental sustainability.
Purpose
COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continue to increase and spread. This article aims to analyse the Indonesian government policies as a response in dealing with COVID-19.

Findings
This article found that the Indonesian government responded slowly to the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of its spread in March 2020. The government then issued some policies such as physical distancing, large-scale social restriction (PSBB -
Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar
) and social safety net. These policies will only work if the society follows them. The society could be the key to success of those policies, either as the support or the obstacles.
Practical implications
This policy analysis with literature review, conducted from March to July 2020 in Indonesia, provides experiences and knowledge in how to respond to the dynamic problems of public policy in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak, especially in the context of a developing country.
Originality/value
The novelty of the article lies in the unique policy response in a diverse society. It suggests that the policymakers should pay more attention to the society’s characteristics as well as the mitigation system as a preventive measure and risk management to make clear policy in the society.
Purpose
This paper aims to examine the role of stakeholders and their interconnected relationships based on power and interests in realising sustainable development in coastal areas using the ...Maritime Village program in Tambaklorok, Semarang City, Indonesia as a case study.
Design/methodology/approach
Data were collected from in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with stakeholders, observations, as well as online news, and official government reports, followed by taxonomic analysis.
Findings
The results showed the four categories of stakeholders, namely players, context setters, subjects, and crowd. The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Semarang City, Spatial Planning Agency (DISTARU) of Semarang City, and the Fisheries Office of Semarang City were found to be key players with a role in the success of the program. PT Pelindo (Indonesia Port Corporations) was identified as a context setter with low interests but high power, acting as an accelerator in the development program.
Originality/value
The originality of this study lied in its examination of the power and interests of stakeholders involved in government projects. It was recommended to strengthen coordination among the stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.
This article discusses a new model of the threat of Indonesian terrorism, especially in the East Java region. Indonesian terrorism continues to grow even more dangerous than before because terrorism ...has a dynamic nature following the times. The research method for this article was a literature study, with data collection techniques using the Harzing PoP 8 application and some data from Google Scholar. The relevant references collected were converted into RIS data types using the Mendeley application. The RIS data was then processed using VOSviewer software to visualize data about previous research related to a new model of the Indonesian terrorism threat. The authors found that terrorism has survived to this day because it found new ways of recruiting and carrying out its acts of terror. Terrorism no longer focuses on a man as the perpetrator but involves women and even children in their actions. Terrorism can also utilize technological sophistication to support group movements and their acts of terror. This is evidenced by the blocking of 600 social media accounts by BNPT, which often uploads radical content in Indonesia.
This research aims to understand public sector innovation from a local perspective with a study of the Contra War (Contraceptive for Women at Risk) innovation study in Malang Regency. This innovation ...aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. This research used a qualitative study with document analysis. Researchers analysed documents from various sources such as official government reports, government regulations, online media news, scientific literature, and books. The result shows that the Contra War innovation has not significantly reduced maternal and infant mortality, but gradually the Contra-War has reduced maternal mortality index (Angka Kematian Ibu/AKI) cases from 27 in 2019 to 14 cases. Meanwhile, infant mortality rate (Angka Kematian Bayi/AKB as many as 62 people in 2020. Another side, the sustainability of innovation has not gone well because of low participation, innovative organisational capacity, and transformational leadership. Therefore, researchers provide suggestions for increasing public participation, collaborating with third parties, and creating innovative work ecosystems and bureaucratic structures.
Social Media and Terrorism are often studied together and have become the focus of many authors in recent years. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate international publication trends on social ...media and terrorism, using the Scopus database through bibliometric analysis from 2009 to 2022. Data visualization and analysis were conducted using Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer. The results showed that the international publications trend reached a peak in 2018, with 103 publications emphasizing various topics, such as social media, terrorism, Twitter, terrorist attacks, and several issues related to terrorist activities and digital platforms. The United States was also the most common country of publication with the highest number of affiliated authors. In addition, the authors with the most published documents were Tsikrika T. and Vrochidis S., with the majority of reports prioritizing social sciences. These results are expected to contribute to the novelty of previous studies on social media and terrorism.
Introduction. The issue of terrorism in Indonesia has been a challenge around the world, particularly in a country with the world's largest Muslim population. This study aims to evaluate the trend ...of publications on the issue of terrorism in Indonesia in the period starting from 1980 to 2022 through a bibliometric analysis.
Data Collection Methods. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using the keywords "terrorism", "terrorist", "terror", and "Indonesia".
Data Analysis. The VOSviewer data visualization was used as a data analysis tool to show the trends in publications on terrorism issues in Indonesia.
Results and Discussion. The publication trend on terrorism in Indonesia significantly increased, with distribution countries dominated by Indonesia including authors, affiliates, and sponsors. In addition, publications on the issue of terrorism in Indonesia were widely written in journal articles, particularly in the field of social sciences.
Conclusion. The issue of terrorism in Indonesia is dynamic. This research may be used to update the understanding of current terrorism issues in Indonesia, particularly from bibliometric analysis.

This article aims to analyze maritime security or maritime security with a bibliometric approach using the Scopus database. The main search keyword used was “Maritime Security” employing the VOSviewer application for evaluating several clusters. Meanwhile, the NVivo12 application was used as a tool for analyzing wordcloud. In a nutshell, the highest year of research related to maritime security occurred in 2019 and America became the country which most often wrote literature on maritime security. In addition, most research trends are investigating maritime security with a focus on countries’ strategies to anticipate risks and threats that arise in the maritime sector by conducting cluster mapping. To sum up, this article conclusively informs that maritime security requires the international definition for future studies.
The Job Creation Law (JCL) is an omnibus law promulgated by the Indonesian government to promote investment in the nation by simplifying business license issuance and providing an exemption on ...previously established procedures. Business license applicants are exempted from the obligation to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) so long as their projects are aligned with the land utilization policy and the zoning plan. This creates a threat to environmental sustainability as only 10% cities or regencies in Indonesia are equipped with detailed zoning plans. Furthermore, environmental considerations are rarely incorporated into spatial planning. This paper reviews changes in spatial and environmental planning practices based on a comparison among existing regulations, qualitative assessment of potential environmental impact based on lessons learned from various study cases, and critical evaluations on the aim to ease business establishment versus sustainability. The research method includes analysis of relevant document and descriptive quantitative analysis. We found that JCL puts sustainability aside and may lead to further environmental degradation.
