Background
Low back pain (LBP) resides as a most common type of symptom pointing towards lumber radiculopathy. It is defined as burning sharp leg pain that originates from the back and goes all the ...way down your legs and extends into the toes and foot. Lumbosacral radiculopathy is caused by pathology of the intervertebral disk or associated structures. Different dimensional traction has been used to treat lumbar radiculopathy. This study aimed to compare the effects of 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional lumbar traction on pain and functional disability in patients with lumbar radiculopathy. The randomized clinical trial study of 4 weeks was carried out at the Lifeline Health Care Imaging and Pain Center and the Hamza Hospital Lahore. Twenty-six subjects were included in the clinical trial and divided into two groups after randomization. Group A received three-dimensional lumbar traction with traction force 50% of total body weight on Spine MT 3D traction machine, and group B received two-dimensional lumbar traction with traction force 50% of total body weight. Pre- and post-values of NPRS and ODI were noted.
Results
Parametric tests were used during statistical analysis because data was normally distributed. NPRS pre- and posttreatment values showed significant results with
p
-value < 0.05. ODI pre- and post-values were also obvious with
p
-value < 0.05. Independent sample
T
-test was used to assess across the group comparison, suggesting that both groups showed significant improvements of NPRS and ODI post-treatment with
p
-value (< 0.001).
Conclusion
The study concluded that 3D traction significantly reduced pain levels and improved functional impairment more effectively than 2D traction in patients with lumbar radiculopathy.

based on specific internal transcribed spacer primer (ITS1/ITS4). Our analysis revealed that all fungal endophytes possess antibacterial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Remarkably,
Rhizopus oryzae
at a concentration of 5 mg/mL efficiently restricted the growth of ATCC strain of
E. coli
in comparison with positive control ciprofloxacin.
Rhizopus oryzae

F. fujikuroi
at a concentration of 1000 µg/ml exhibited maximum antioxidant activity of 45% and 44%, respectively. They also showed antifungal activity ranging from 60 to 75% against

The electronic, structural, magnetic, and optical properties of RbSrX (X = C, Si or Ge) are performed by using the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method and generalized ...gradient approximation (GGA) within Density functional theory (DFT). The electronic band structures and Density of states show metallic nature for electrons spin-down, while for spin-up, these compounds have a gap of 2.01, 1.95, and 1.50 eV, respectively, which show a half-metallic ferromagnetic behavior in the magnetic moment of 1μβ. The structural parameters show that the band gap decreases as we move from up to down in the IV-A group. The s, p, and d states have been controlled by electronic properties for RbSrX (X = C, Si or Ge). Optical parameters, such as reflectivity, dielectric function, optical conductivity, absorption coefficient, loss function, and refractive index, have also been calculated and presented.

Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) is a very promising and fast technique for studying drugs and for detecting chemical nature of a molecule and DNA interaction. In the current study, SERS is employed to check the interaction of different concentrations of n-propyl imidazole derivative ligand with salmon sperm DNA using silver nanoparticles as SERS substrates.
Multivariate data analysis technique like principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) are employed for the detailed analysis of the SERS spectral features associated with the mode of action of the imidazole derivative ligand with DNA.
Silver nanoparticles were used as a SERS substrate in DNA-drug interaction. Five different concentrations of ligands were interacted with DNA and mix with Ag-NPs as substrate. The SERS spectra of were acquired for all seven samples and processed using MATLAB. Additionally, PCA and PLS-DA were used to assessed the ability SERS to differentiate interaction of DNA-drug.
Differentiating SERS features having changes in their peak position and intensities are observed including 629, 655, 791, 807, 859, 1337, 1377 and 1456 cm−1. These SERS features reveal that binding of ligand with DNA is electrostatic in nature, and have specificity to major groove where it forms GC-CG interstrand cross-linking with the DNA double helix.
SERS give significant information regarding to Drug-DNA interaction mechanism, SERS spectra inferred the mode of action of anticancer compound that are imidazole in nature.

Natural hazards greatly impact human life and the development of infrastructure, especially in poorer countries. To tackle this issue and develop sufficient strategies with which to assess hazards ...under local governing conditions, open-source approaches have been pursued in many aid development and technical cooperation projects. In this study, the landslide susceptibility of the Mansehra and Torghar districts is assessed within the framework of the multiphase German-Pakistani technical cooperation project “Georisk Assessment Northern Pakistan” (GANP), which was initiated after the devastating Kashmir Earthquake occurred on October 8, 2005. This landslide susceptibility assessment is strongly aligned with an open data approach that utilizes free, accessible data and data sources. The landslide inventory was collected using high-resolution imagery provided by Google Earth. The landslide-controlling parameters were derived from a series of open access data, including published data, free and accessible satellite imagery (e.g., Landsat), and digital elevation models. A mid-level complexity statistical approach was used to assess relative landslide susceptibility patterns on a regional scale. Stepwise data integration with subsequent evaluation was then applied. The evaluation of the model quality was performed using receiver operation characteristic curves. The established workflow, which also incorporated sensitivity studies and an uncertainty assessment, produces reliable landslide susceptibility patterns that can be used for regional spatial planning.

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is an efficient technique which has been used for the analysis of filtrate portions of serum samples of Hepatitis B (HBV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) virus.
The main reason for this study is to differentiate and compare HBV and HCV serum samples for disease diagnosis through SERS. Hepatitis B and hepatitis C disease biomarkers are more predictable in their centrifuged form as compared in their uncentrifuged form. For differentiation of SERS spectral data sets of hepatitis B, hepatitis C and healthy person principal component analysis (PCA) proved to be a helpful. Centrifugally filtered serum samples of hepatitis B and hepatitis C are clearly differentiated from centrifugally filtered serum samples of healthy individuals by using partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA).
Serum sample of HBV, HCV and healthy patients were centrifugally filtered to separate filtrate portion for studying biochemical changes in serum sample. The SERS of these samples is performed using silver nanoparticles as substrates to identify specific spectral features of both viral diseases which can be used for the diagnosis and differentiation of these diseases. The purpose of centrifugal filtration of the serum samples of HBV and HCV positive and control samples by using filter membranes of 50 KDa size is to eliminate the proteins bigger than 50 KDa so that their contribution in the SERS spectrum is removed and disease related smaller proteins may be observed. Principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) are statistical tools which were used for the further validation of SERS.
HBV and HCV centrifugally filtered serum sample were compared and biomarkers including (uracil, phenylalanine, methionine, adenine, phosphodiester, proline, tyrosine, tryptophan, amino acid, thymine, fatty acid, nucleic acid, triglyceride, guanine and hydroxyproline) were identified through PCA and PLS-DA. Principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) were used as a multivariate data analysis tool for the diagnosis of the characteristic SERS spectral features associated with both types of viral diseases. For the classification and differentiation of centrifugally filtered HBV, HCV, and control serum samples, Principal component analysis is found helpful. Moreover, PLS-DA can classify these two distinct sets of SERS spectral data with 0.90 percent specificity, 0.85 percent precision, and 0.83 percent accuracy.
Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy along with chemometric analysis like PCA and PLS-DA have been successfully differentiated HBV and HCV and healthy individuals’ serum samples.

Cloud computing with an amalgamation of the internet of things (IoT) typically gave birth to an ideal field called Cloud of things (CoT). CoT maintains revolutionary services in every domain, but it ...has instantly become a rising star in smart transportation because a well-organized facility might present a challenge for dealing with the exponentially expanding people living in smart cities. Lack of management in transport can cause distress among people and nowadays parking has come to be one of the critical issues faced by the public daily. In this paper, we present a parking availability prediction model implemented within a geo-fence ranging from 100-150 meters based on cloud, IoT, and GIS. In contrast to present models, instead of offering no space or parking is full; our model accurately determines the ETA of a vehicle and checks the potential/chance of parking availability. It also calculates the time for the next parking space if the existing parking space accessibility is zero. Moreover, our model includes all the exogenous factors like weather, time zone conditions to gain prediction accuracy.
