The Authors, in this work, describe the ripercussions fixed by the pathology of the first respiratory organs and of the deglutition both at expense of maxillo-facial development and at ...systematic-level; by beginning from physiologic mechanisms, the most frequent causes of the oral respiration and the atypic deglutition are analysed.
532 patients under intravenous Ampicillin therapy have been included in the trial to evaluate the eventual onset of rashes. These patients have been divided into two groups: the first group comprised ...of patients affected with acute or chronic liver diseases, the second one with diseases of bacterial etiology. In the first group Ampicillin has been utilized either for its antiammoniaemic activity or to treat urinary or respiratory tract infections of bacterial origin. Ampicillin has been administered intravenously at the dosage of 1-6 g daily. Only 18 patients (3.4%) out of 532 under examination have shown skin reaction during treatment. It is suggestive that the low incidence of Ampicillin rashes observed is due to the way of administration of the drug.
The following parameters were determined in 20 diabetics with chronic obliterating arteriopathy of the lower extremities: C-HDL, apo-A1, apo-B, triglyceridaemia, the glycaemic profile and HbA1c ...oscillometry, photoplethysmogram and claudication distance on a treadmill. Examination of the results obtained did not show any variation in the lipoproteic picture and only an improvement, in some subjects, in claudication distance. It is therefore hypothesised that in diabetic C-HDL and apo-A1 are not predictive of atherosclerotic risk although it cannot be excluded that changes in such constants may represent a synergetic factor in determining arteriosclerosis.
In this work, the AA. have related the principal suture of the skull and the face, analysing the embryonal, functional and anatomic aspects, with particular reference to the times of end of growth ...and ossification. Furthermore, the AA. had explained the orthopedic appliances which influence, with their action, the activity of specific suture, emphasizing the growth period in which they are more efficient in the correction of the various dentofacial disharmonies.
