In addition, trust in the media amplified the effects of media use on levels of compliance.
The trend of cultivating Chinese language dual-creative talents in colleges and universities is inevitable due to the increasing importance of national soft power. This paper studies the Chinese ...language teaching system and the cultivation path of dual-creative talents in colleges and universities using a modeling approach. The competency model’s iceberg model determines the dimensions and measurement items of dual-creative talents, verified through reliability analysis. At the same time, a QFD model for quality assurance of dual-creative talent cultivation in universities was established, and the importance of demand factors was calculated by analyzing the obtained results of each rating. Among the four factors, the degree of conformity was from the highest to the lowest: creative attitude, basic creative ability, creative expansion ability, professional knowledge, and skills, with rating values of 4.19, 4.12, 3.67, and 3.49, respectively. The empirical analysis of QFD showed that the highest weight of the demand level of development achievement of dual-creative talents cultivation reached 0.4066, followed by the basic conditions of teaching, which reached This study can provide some reference and help for the cultivation of Chinese language double-creative talents in colleges and universities, and help improve the quality of double-creative talents cultivation.
In modern industries, machine health monitoring systems (MHMS) have been applied wildly with the goal of realizing predictive maintenance including failures tracking, downtime reduction, and assets ...preservation. In the era of big machinery data, data-driven MHMS have achieved remarkable results in the detection of faults after the occurrence of certain failures (diagnosis) and prediction of the future working conditions and the remaining useful life (prognosis). The numerical representation for raw sensory data is the key stone for various successful MHMS. Conventional methods are the labor-extensive as they usually depend on handcrafted features, which require expert knowledge. Inspired by the success of deep learning methods that redefine representation learning from raw data, we propose local feature-based gated recurrent unit (LFGRU) networks. It is a hybrid approach that combines handcrafted feature design with automatic feature learning for machine health monitoring. First, features from windows of input time series are extracted. Then, an enhanced bidirectional GRU network is designed and applied on the generated sequence of local features to learn the representation. A supervised learning layer is finally trained to predict machine condition. Experiments on three machine health monitoring tasks: tool wear prediction, gearbox fault diagnosis, and incipient bearing fault detection verify the effectiveness and generalization of the proposed LFGRU.
Government trust is known to be associated with preventive practices during pandemics, but few studies have explored the roles of knowledge and negative emotion in conditioning the relationship ...between trust and preventive behaviors. The aim of this study was to explore the roles of knowledge and negative emotion in conditioning the relationship between trust and preventive measures during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. Data from a cross-sectional survey of 3000 Chinese adults mean (SD) age 36.93 (12.11) years; 52.4% male, conducted using quota-sampling method (March 2–2020 to March 23–2020), were analyzed. Overall, respondents performed recommended preventive measures more frequently (3.21 out of 4) than excessive preventive measures (2.11 out of 4). Government trust was positively associated with both officially recommended (b = 0.12; 95%CI = 0.18, 0.25) and excessive preventive behaviors (b = 0.07; 95%CI = 0.03, 0.10). The positive relationship between trust and excessive preventive behaviors was found to be statistically significant only among those with low levels of COVID-19 knowledge. Officially recommended preventive behavior is most likely to happen when there is a combination of high levels of government trust and low levels of negative emotion. Therefore, government trust increases both official and excessive (sometimes unscientific) preventive behaviors. Interventions shall aim to enhance people's COVID-19 knowledge and to reduce negative emotions.
•We studied the effects of government trust on preventive behaviors during COVID-19.•Government trust increased both officially recommended and excessive prevention.•Knowledge of COVID-19 and emotion moderated the link between trust and prevention.•Trust was related to higher excessive prevention among people with less knowledge.•Trust was related to higher recommended prevention among people with less negative emotion.

It begins with the introduction of thermoplastic polymers that have been used as the main matrices of the polymeric composites and various composite reinforcements such as metallic, ceramic, carbon-based fillers and polymer blends for strengthening and functionality purposes. Discussion is then made on the processes for manufacturing such polymeric composites into powder form, which include shear pulverization, solution-based methods and melt compounding methods, with a focus on their advantages, limitations and challenges in terms of their productivity and processibility as well as powder printability. Thereafter, the properties and functionalities of the printed products and their various intriguing applications particularly in biomedical (anatomical models, tissue engineering and drug delivery), aerospace, automobile, military, energy and environmental, acoustic devices and sports equipment are highlighted. Finally, this review is concluded with an outlook on polymeric composites for powder-based AM, new opportunities, major challenges and possible solutions.
Sepsis remains a leading cause of death worldwide, despite advances in critical care, and understanding of the pathophysiology and treatment strategies. No specific therapy or drugs are available for ...sepsis. Neutrophils play a critical role in controlling infection under normal conditions, and it is suggested that their migration and antimicrobial activity are impaired during sepsis which contribute to the dysregulation of immune responses. Recent studies further demonstrated that interruption or reversal of the impaired migration and antimicrobial function of neutrophils improves the outcome of sepsis in animal models. In this review, we provide an overview of the associated mediators and signal pathways involved which govern the survival, migration and antimicrobial function of neutrophils in sepsis, and discuss the potential of neutrophils as a target to specifically diagnose and/or predict the outcome of sepsis.
A thermo-metallurgical-mechanical coupling model is developed to predict temperature, solid-state phase and residual stress fields for the multi-track multi-layer selective laser melting process of ...Ti6Al4V. The model considers the solid-state phase transformation (SSPT) and powder-liquid-solid transition which includes melting, vaporization, solidification, shrinkage and cooling phenomena. The thermal analysis is based on the transient heat conduction problem with a volumetric heat source describing the laser absorption and scattering in the powder bed. The volume fraction evolution of metallurgical phases is determined by temperature history and used to obtain the volumetric change strain due to the SSPT. An elasto-plastic constitutive law considering the strains that are induced by thermal gradients and the SSPT is proposed to evaluate stress fields. Modelling results reveal that the consideration of the SSPT leads to the decrease of tensile residual stresses and increase of compressive residual stresses, and the residual stress component in the scanning direction is larger than the other two stress components.

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematologic malignancy characterized by the proliferation of clonal plasma cells. Although advances in treatment have markedly improved survival outcomes for patients with ...MM, this disease is still considered incurable owing to its high incidence of relapse and refractoriness. Isatuximab is an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody that can induce apoptosis in myeloma cells through a variety of mechanisms. Many clinical studies have demonstrated the efficacy and efficiency of isatuximab in both relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and newly diagnosed multiple myeloma, leading to its approval for the treatment of adults with RRMM in combination therapies. In this review, the structure, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, and safety profile of isatuximab in MM are summarized. Additionally, isatuximab is compared with daratumumab in terms of mechanism and efficacy.
•Effect of extraction methods on immunological activity of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides were investigated.•Hot water extraction was the best method to obtain total and acidic ...polysaccharides.•Microwave assisted extraction was preferable to extract polysaccharide-protein complex.•High molecular weight L. barbarum polysaccharides were active fractions.
It has been proven that polysaccharides have bioactivities and are beneficial to cure many diseases. Lycium barbarum fruit is widely used as a functional food all over the world, which main active component is L. barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs). In this study, classical hot water extraction (HWE), microwave assisted extraction (MAE), ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) and pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) were used to extracted LBP. The chemical properties of LBPs were evaluated in terms of total polysaccharide contents, uronic acid contents and protein contents. High performance size exclusion chromatography coupled with multi angle laser light scattering and refractive index detector was applied to measure the characters such as molecular weight, radius of gyration and polydispersity index. Then the immunomodulatory activity of LBPs was evaluated through RAW 264.7 cells. The results showed that HWE was the best method to get the highest total sugar and acidic polysaccharides, MAE was preferable to extract polysaccharide-protein complex, but PLE, UAE and HWE could get better immunomodulatory activity polysaccharides than MAE. Besides, the peak 3 in chromatogram of MAE extracted LBPs was obviously higher than those of LBPs produced by other 3 extraction methods, which suggested that peak 1 and peak 2 might be biologically active polysaccharides fractions in LBPs. Therefore, effect of different extraction methods on structure and composition of LBPs attributed to their variance of immunological activities.
Fretting wear becomes one of most concerning issues in the clinical applications of artificial joints. Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and PEEK-based composites are promising alternative materials for ...polymer-on-metal joints. In this study, an experimental investigation is conducted to evaluate the fretting wear behavior and the frictional heating behavior of PEEK and three kinds of PEEK-based composites under the dry sliding and water lubricated conditions. The composite filled with carbon fibers shows excellent fretting wear resistance under a range of normal forces, while the composite filled with PTFE, carbon fibers, and graphite demonstrates different wear mechanisms under small and large normal forces. The temperature increase due to the frictional heating for these four materials is insignificant under the fretting wear loading conditions. The water lubrication reduces the coefficients of friction for all four materials.
