e

→ ηπ
+
π
−
cross section obtained with the CMD-3 detector is in good agreement with the previous measurements.

A recent result of the cross section measurement of the process e + e − → K S K π at e + e − collider VEPP-2000 is presented using a data sample of the ∼150 pb−1 integrated luminosity collected with ...the CMD-3 detector. The processes with charged kaons in multi hadron events attract special interest, because they impact strongly on studies of light quark hadronization, isospin symmetry, and strange meson spectroscopy. Experimental results of e + e − → K S K π cross section are presented in a broad energy range covered by the VEPP-2000 and compared to earlier measurements. A study of the production dynamics confirms the dominance of neutral KK * ( 892 ) intermediate state.
The cross section of the process e + e − → π + π − has been measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.32 to 1.2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000. The ...measurement is based on an integrated luminosity of about 88 pb − 1 , of which 62 pb − 1 represent a complete dataset collected by CMD-3 at center-of-mass energies below 1 GeV. In the dominant region near the ρ resonance a systematic uncertainty of 0.7% was achieved. The implications of the presented results for the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon are discussed. Published by the American Physical Society 2024
The CMD-3 detector has begun to take data at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000 since december 2010. The collected data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 60 pb−1 in the c.m. ...energy range from 0.32 up to 2 GeV and about 50pb−1 for RUN2017. The integrated luminosity was measured by counting e+e− e+e− and e+e− γγ events, allowing additional photons in the final state. Preliminary results of the luminosity measurement are presented for various energy ranges and its accuracy is estimated to be 1%.
The updated results of the precise measurements of the processes e+e−→ρ→π+π−, e+e−→ω→π+π−π0 and e+e−→φ→K0LK0S performed by the CMD-2 Collaboration are presented. The update appeared necessary due to ...an overestimate of the integrated luminosity in previous analyses.
Studies of light mesons in experiments with the Belle detector at the KEKB B-factory are described. Three types of hadron production processes are discussed: two-photon production, production via ...initial state radiation and hadronic tau lepton decays.
The paper presents a current status of the simulation of the pure CsI crystal calorimeter of the detector of charm-tau factory project in Novosibirsk. The calorimeter employs the scheme with the ...crystals focusing at the beams interaction point to obtain the optimal energy and coordinate resolutions. We present a detailed description of the calorimeter design, optimized using the specially developed parametrized crystal geometry generator. The report also presents the results for the coordinate and energy correction functions calculation. After application of these corrections the estimation of the photon energy and coordinate resolutions for the ideal conditions of negligibly small stochastic, electronic and pileup noises was performed. The π0 reconstruction efficiency and mass resolution depending on it's momentum were also determined.
Since 2010 the CMD-3 detector has been collecting data at the e+e− collider VEPP-2000 in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. One of the main goals of experiments with CMD-3 detector is the ...precise measurement of the cross sections of the e+e− annihilation into hadrons. For a large number of processes the main source of systematic uncertainty in cross sections determination due to accuracy of polar angles determination of the tracks. Z-chamber is used for the reconstruction of the track longitudinal coordinate which is with low systematic uncertainty. The measurement of longitudinal coordinates is performed by the collecting of the charge which is induced on the strip cathodes of the Z-chamber. The algorithms of the reconstruction of cathodes clusters and calibration procedure are presented.
