In its new form, the ISO 9001:2015 standard activates and utilizes a thought pattern based on risk assessment functioning in parallel with the implementation of the system regarding quality ...management. Therefore, we strive to identify the risks and opportunities associated with the processes and products needed to create and implement a system of quality management based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This standard is defined by a strong client-based orientation, motivation and managerial involvement from the higher levels, as well as a process-based approach and a commitment towards constant improvement.By implementing the requirements of the new version of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, the organisation needs to determine all the processes necessary to the system of quality management, as well as to identify those which include activities dealing with risks and opportunities. Considering the importance and the impact of the requirements of the new version of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, starting from theoretical concepts and underscoring a set of research vectors, a model of financial risk assessment has been devised. The model is based on the correlation which can be established between the multiplicity of components relating to the components of the new standard structure, SL Annex, elements of an approach derived from risk patterns of processes and risk types which are assessed from the perspective of financial services companies.
Food safety policies have gained considerable importance in recent years, food safety being one of the indicators that illustrates the standard of living and quality of life within a nation state. In ...order to assess food security, we analyzed the Global Food Security Index (GFSI) that, economically, is based on GDP, degree of poverty and agricultural production, extending also to areas such as government and public policies, which are usually not directly included in food safety indicators or generating factors.Considering the importance and impact of food safety, starting from the theoretical concepts, from the current state of food safety in Europe, presented by the means of GFSI and its components, we developed a set of measures based on the grouping (correlation) of states following the analysis of hierarchical ranking of clusters. To analyse clusters hierarchical ranking the food safety indicators were used as input, dependent data. As an independent variable, with a strong influence on all the others, determined by means of multiple linear regression, we considered GDP/inhabitant at the level of each analysed state. The design of the set of measures considered the correlation that can be established among the various GFSI indicators that influence and generate the current state of food security in different European countries and the influence these indicators can have on maintaining or improving this state.
Since the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic, most higher education institutions have been forced to exchange the traditional teaching environment for online education, and many chose to continue ...to use digital education platforms after its end, especially through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and technologies. Our research represents a systematic literature review of a number of 60 scientific papers, aiming to study how the concept of digital economic education based on artificial intelligence is approached in the scientific literature, how artificial intelligence applications are used in digital economic education, and which are the critical success factors and the challenges that this domain is facing. Our findings have shown that most researchers define digital education as the use of technology to support educational activities, while highlighting artificial intelligence and its different applications as an essential element of current digital education, which has the potential to fundamentally transform the economic processes. The large-scale adoption of e-learning systems based on artificial intelligence is influenced by technology, by their superior capabilities in terms of coherently correlating the learning and studying processes, by the teachers trust in the results generated by these technologies and by cultural factors, while facing several challenges related to the users resistance to change, digital competences, the systems accessibility, as well as financial issues. Furthermore, based on this research endeavour, a model system of correlations and elements has been developed, specifically for the digital economic education based on artificial intelligence. This model includes both the success factors and the unique challenges inherent in the particular application areas.
In today's context, the circular economy is a model of sustainable economic development that is becoming particularly important for the electrical and electronic waste (e-waste) industry. From this ...perspective, the research in the article will be carried out for the 27 European Union Member States regarding the performance in managing electrical and electronic waste, also highlighting the changes that have occurred within the analyzed countries in the years 2015 and 2020. The empirical study will adopt a complex econometric tool, represented by hierarchical cluster analysis, with countries grouped into four clusters over two distinct periods (2015 and 2020) where the variables included will be the following: the amount of e-waste generated per capita, the amount of electrical and electronic equipment sold on the market per capita, electrical and electronic waste recycled and prepared for reuse, and the circularity rate. Based on these variables, the article will analyze the performance in e-waste management (gain or loss of performance) in the analyzed years, underlying also the capacity of analyzed countries to adapt to the new demands imposed by the circular economy on the coordinates of sustainable development. In addition, theoretical, methodological, and empirical implications will be presented, which, through their implementation, can influence the managerial and environmental policy decisions.

The purpose of this research is to examine the structure of renewable energy production in Romania between 2010 and 2020, as well as the green employment produced by the renewable energy sector in Romania between 2010 and 2019. Using the Markov chain approach, it was predicted that in 2025, the hydropower industry’s employees would account for the biggest proportion of the overall average number of workers engaged in the renewable energy production sector in Romania (74.68%). Solar energy production employees will account for 14.31% of the average number of workers in the renewable energy production sector, biomass energy production employees will account for 5.8%, and wind energy production employees will account for 5.2% of the average number of workers in the green energy sector.

In terms of sustainability, traditional disclosure does not provide the necessary information to all stakeholders, mainly addressing the company’s shareholders’ expectations. Many organisations currently provide sustainability reports in addition to the annual management reports containing financial and economic data. Several studies have focused on adopting practices and tools in the sustainability area and their overlap with traditional managerial techniques and tools. Nevertheless, integration involves a harmonising process, compatibility and alignment between different management practices. This study aims to assess the impact that the inclusion of sustainable reporting practices in corporate management reports has on economic performance, and to support filling the gap in the specific literature by proposing an integrated reporting model achieved through a harmonising process, compatibility and alignment.
The pandemic crisis has meant a challenge for SMEs and a factor that can change the way of doing business. The current paper analyses the correlations between financial resources, turnover, ...sustainability, and digital technologies and how these components can be adapted to changes in the economy triggered by the pandemic crisis in the structure of activities carried out by SMEs. Resting on the importance of integrating the innovative, digital component to the activities of SMEs, in close connection with the financial resources component, a multicriteria research model for business has been developed, assessing the correlations between key variables and their influence on European SMEs. In order to fully define the concepts envisaged and to emphasise these correlations, multiple linear regression, clustering techniques, and correlation analysis were used. In the end, the proposed solution provided a common language through which companies can evaluate traditional processes and bring together the research components into business activities.
In recent years, the significant and intensive change of working conditions necessitates employees to modify their work patterns to increase the number of working hours and work intensity by ...improving the efforts, which leads to the occurrence of the heavy work investment (HWI) phenomenon. Analyzing the models of HWI we can distinguish two types: workaholism (WH), considered being the negative form of the HWI, and working engagement (WE), considered to be the positive form of the HWI. This paper proposes a multidimensional model of HWI that is built on four main elements: HWI (with its two types: WH and WE), potential predictors, work outcomes and mediating factors between HWI and work outcomes. The model is empirically tested on a sample of 298 Romanian employees, using correlational study, confirmatory factorial analysis, and artificial neural networks analysis established between model variables. The results of the research are explained and discussed, recommendations are issued for the improvement of organizational practices and new research directions are proposed.
