Introduction/purpose Reliability and availability are important especially for military, medical, and other professional equipment. Reliability and availability management and/or prognostic ...reliability calculations have always been data driven. This article focuses on the analysis of the data impact on reliability and availability. Methods: This research is based mostly on the articles published by the author of this work as well as on some other papers. Results: This paper results in a discussion on the definition of the data-driven concept, preceded by brief definitions of reliability and availability, and followed by the analysis of the main impacts of uncertain data on prognostic reliability calculations as well as by reliability and availability of data used in reliability calculations. Conclusions: Reliability and availability are still very important. Reliability and availability have always been data driven while valid and relevant data have always been the main problem. Without good data, prognostic reliability is useless in spite of a good reliability model.
Introduction/purpose: At the end of 2019, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Serbia for the 2020-2025 ...period. This was a motivation for the author of this paper to try to give an overview of the current artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the field of reliability and maintenance, as well as its future applications. Methods: The overview is done mainly using available literature, mostly from the Science Direct database, using abstracts generally, and in some cases whole papers. Results: The result of this research is an overview of the artificial intelligence applications in the field of reliability and maintenance in the past thirty years. It also showed that AI systems can also be unreliable and need maintenance. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence is and can be applied in reliability and maintenance. The research of available literature showed that AI is more applied in maintenance than in reliability. The progress in AI is inevitable, so it is important to understand its potentials for application in reliability and maintenance as well as its possible drawbacks.
The goal of this paper is to show that reliability and maintainability play important role in the circular economy. The goals of the circular economy are the creation and production of such products ...that have an extended lifespan not only through reliablity, but also through maintenance, servicing and by recycling. To fulfil such goals, reliability and maintainability must be applied in proper way during the design of a product. The role of reliability, availability, maintainability and artificial intelligence in the circular economy is discussed in this paper.

Pasivni dipoli i IC mamci i dalje su najjeftiniji i najisplativiji način protivelektronskih dejstava u odnosu na postignuti efekat zaštite aviona od radarski i IC samonavođenih raketa i sistema za ...praćenje. To je i najčešće korišćen oblik protivelektronskih dejstava kada se radi o vojnim avionima. Osim u vazduhoplovstvu, sve više se primenjuju i u zaštiti brodova, pa i borbenih sredstava na kopnu, kod kojih se koriste i sredstva za zadimljavanje. Mogu da ih nose i koriste skoro sve vrste platformi, od aviona svih tipova, preko bespilotnih letilica, jedrilica padobrana, balona, do brodova i oklopnih borbenih vozila. Osnovne tendencije u razvoju pasivnih mamaca ogledaju se u pronalaženju pogodnijih materijala novih tehnika za njihovo izbacivanje u okolinu štićenog objekta i boljeg prilagođavanja spektralnim osobinama zračenja štićenog objekta. Pasivni dipoli, IC mamci i aktivni mamci mogu se izbacivati na razne načine, a način izbacivanja ima veliki uticaj na njihovu efikasnost. Većina mamaca izbacuje se uređajima sličnim minobacaču ili topu. U razvoju, a i upotrebi nalaze se tzv. pametni izbacivači, a teži se izradi modularnih unificiranih izbacivača dipola i IC mamaca. Pored pasivnih, sve više su u upotrebi aktivni mamci, od kojih se očekuje mnogo, posebno od aktivnih mamaca povezanih optičkim kablovima sa platformom koja ih nosi. Procenjuje se da, za sada, aktivni mamci nisu zamena za pasivne i da ih neće potpuno istisnuti iz upotrebe, već da najbolje rezultate može dati zajednička (kombinovana) upotreba.
