Accurate surveying and mapping data has the characteristics as follows: huge amounts of data, multiform of source and complexity of types. Traditional way of data storing and coping with hard disks ...cannot satisfy the requirements of rapid growth and safe storage of data in surveying and mapping departments. This paper conducted research on the storage and management of surveying and mapping data based on cloud storage. Massive multi-source surveying and mapping data is stored in a distributed storage system named cStor 1, attribute of the data is stored in MySQL database and the spatial index information is stored with the type of Geometry, thus satisfying the requirement of efficient storage of surveying and mapping data, and also making full use of advantages in attribute querying and spatial index building of MySQL. Based on those above, this paper proposed a method for online extraction of spatial index information of multi-source surveying and mapping data based on cloud storage. For different types of surveying and mapping data, there are different policies for extracting spatial index information. Types are divided as follows: For national standard primary scale files and local scale files, spatial index information can be extracted according to the filename. For aerial images and satellite images, the metadata files which are needed can be obtained online and then spatial index information is extracted. The result showed that method proposed in this paper can extract spatial index information efficiently for multi-source surveying and mapping data and the validity of this method was verified.
A triaxial system is designed with a temperature range from -20 ℃ to 25℃ and a pressure range from 0 MPa to 30 MPa in order to improve the understanding of the mechanical properties of gas ...hydrate-bearing sediments. The mechanical properties of synthetic gas hydrate-bearing sediments (gas hydrate-kaolin clay mixture) were measured by using current experimental apparatus. The results indicate that: (1) the failure strength of gas hydrate-bearing sediments strongly depends on the temperature. The sediment's strength increases with the decreases of temperature. (2) The maximum deviator stress increases linearly with the confining pressure at a low-pressure stage. However, it fluctuates at a high-pressure stage. (3) Maximum deviator stress increases with increasing strain rate, whereas the strain-stress curve has no tremendous change until the axial strain reaches approximately 0.5%. (4) The internal friction angles of gas hydrate-bearing sediments are not sensitive to kaolin volume ratio. The cohesion shows a high kaolin volume ratio dependency.
This letter evaluates the peak-to-average power ratio (PAR) performance in a space-time block coded (STBC) multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system using ...the selective mapping (SLM) approach. The investigated SLM-based MIMO-OFDM system selects the transmitted sequence with the lowest average PAR over all transmit antennas and retrieves the side information very accurately at the expense of only 0.5-dB degradation of the PAR, which can improve the overall detection performance of the MIMO-OFDM system with erroneous side information, compared to the individual SLM approach.
A total of eighty 21-day-olds (1.1±0.01kg) ROSS 308 broilers were randomly allocated into 4 groups, with 20 replicates per group and 1 chicken per replicate per cage. Three experimental groups (CAR, ...THY, ORE group) were given oral administration of 200ìL essential oils (carvacrol, thyme and oregano) at 18:00h every day. The results showed no significant differences on blood metabolites among each group (P>0.05). The villus height of the small intestines in the CAR group increased significantly (P less than 0.05) from 1360.10 to 1552.54ìm as compared to the control group, the goblet cell counts in the THY and ORE groups significantly increased by 20.91% (P less than 0.05) and 31.82% (P less than 0.05), respectively, compared to the control group. The E.coli and Salmonella in ORE group significantly decreased by 11.16% (P less than 0.05) and 9.54% (P less than 0.05), respectively, compared to the control group. The Redness (a*) values of the muscles of the CAR and ORE groups were observed to increase significantly (P less than 0.05) from 3.58 to 7.95 and 6.86, respectively, compared to the control group. In conclusion, oral administration of the essential oils carvacrol, thyme, and oregano promoted intestinal development, improved the intestinal environment and the meat quality of broilers.
With the development of modern cities, numerous buildings over 40-storey have been constructed in recent decades. Fire safety issues, especially evacuation, are of the major concerns for building ...designers, occupants, as well as governments. To ensure the safety of ultra high-rise building evacuation, different performance-based designs have been proposed. In this study, we propose a quantitative and viable elevator aided ultra-high rise building evacuation model which simulates both pedestrian movement and elevator transportation. After validation and calibration, the proposed Ultra high-rise building Evacuation with Elevators (UEE) model is adopted to explore two main evacuation strategies, i.e., phased evacuation and total evacuation with the aid of elevators. In these two strategies, refuge floor plays an important part because it not only provides a place for temporarily stop, but also for the transition from stair evacuation into elevator evacuation. Thus, the effect of refuge floor interval on the high-rise building evacuation process is further investigated. It is found that the interval design of refuge floors has a direct relation with the characteristics of the elevators and building occupants. In the case that a proper ratio of the building occupants is transported to the ground level by fast elevators while others are evacuated by stairs, the evacuation process can reach an optimized state.
The objective of this experiment was to determine the effects of a pure reduction in the dietary crude protein (CP) and metabolic energy (ME) contents on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, ...blood profile, faecal microflora and odour gas emission in weaned pigs. A total of 80 weaned piglets ((Landrace x Yorkshire) x Duroc) with a mean initial bodyweight (BW) of 6.8 ± 0.5 kg were randomly allotted to four treatments with four replicate pens of five piglets per pen (based on average BW) for 45 days. The dietary treatments consisted of i) CON: basal diet; ii) LME: reduction of 10% of ME in basal diet; iii) LCP: reduction of 10% of CP in basal diet; iv) MECP: reduction of 10% of CP and 10% of ME in basal diet. During the experimental period, average daily feed intake (ADFI) improved in piglets fed the LME and LCP diets, compared with those fed the CON diets. Average daily gain (adG) and gain to feed (G : F) ratio decreased in piglets fed LCP, LME, and MECP diet, when compared with those fed the CON diet. However, during the total experimental period, ADG and G : F ratio were not affected by dietary treatment. With regard to nutrient digestibility, apparent total track digestibility (ATTD) of CP was not affected by experimental diets. The concentration of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in blood decreased more in piglets fed LME, LCP, and MECP than those fed the CON diet. The emissions of ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sufide (H2S), and volatile fatty acids (VFAs) were lower in piglets fed LME, LCP, and MECP diet than those fed the CON diet. In conclusion, these results indicate that reduction in dietary CP and ME content did not decrease growth performance and nutrient digestibility, and they increased positive effects such as BUN and gas emission reduction.

The reaction center of photosystem II of oxygenic photosynthesis contains two redox-active tyrosines called Z and D, each of which can act as an electron donor to tho oxidized primary electron donor, ...P680+. These tyrosines are located in homologous positions on the third transmembrane alpha-helix of each of the two homologous polypeptides, D1 and D2, that comprise the reaction center. Tyrosine D of polypeptide D2 has been proposed, upon oxidation, to give up its phenolic proton to a nearby basic amino acid residue, forming a neutral radical. Modeling studies have pointed to His190 (spinach numbering) as a likely candidate for this basic residue. As a test of this hypothesis, we have constructed three site-directed mutations in the D2 polypeptide of the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC6803. His189 (the Synechocystis homologue of His190 of spinach) has been replaced by glutamine, aspartate, or leucine. Instead of the normal D.EPR signal (g = 2.0046; line width 16-19 G), PSII core complexes isolated from these three mutants show an altered dark-stable EPR signal with a narrowed line width (11-13 G), and g values of 2.0046, 2.0043, and 2.0042 for the His189Gln, His189Asp, and His189Leu mutants, respectively. Despite the reduced line width, these EPR signals show g values and microwave-power saturation properties similar to the normal D. signal. Furthermore, specific deuteration in one of those mutants at the 3 and 5 positions of the phenol ring of the photosystem II reaction center tyrosines results in a loss of hyperfine structure of the EPR signal, proving that the signal indeed arises from tyrosine. Proton-endor studies of these tyrosine radicals show that one hyperfine coupling component of 3.5-3.6 MHz, observed in the wild-type strain disappears in all three mutants. A spontaneous particle transport barrier has been observed in ...Ohmic discharges without any external momentum input. The barrier was evidenced by a density perturbation study using modulated supersonic molecular beam injection (SMBI) and microwave reflectometry. The new features of the non-local transport effect induced with SMBI have been analysed. The three-dimensional spectral structures of the low frequency zonal flow, the geodesic acoustic mode (GAM) and the quasi-mode-like low frequency fluctuations have been observed simultaneously for the first time. In addition, the spectral structure of the density fluctuations of GAM was also identified. The e-fishbone instability excited by energetic electrons deviated from Maxwellian distribution has been investigated via a 10-channel CdTe hard x-ray detector. Paeoniflorin (PF), one of the active chemical compounds identified from the root of
Paeonia lactiflora Pall, has been well-established to exhibit various neuroprotective actions in the central ...nervous system (CNS) after long-term daily administration. In the present study, by using the bee venom (BV) model of nociception and hypersensitivity, antinociceptive effects of PF were evaluated by intraperitoneal administration in conscious rats. When compared with saline control, systemic pre- and post-treatment with PF resulted in an apparent antinociception against both persistent spontaneous nociception and primary heat hypersensitivity, while for the primary mechanical hypersensitivity only pre-treatment was effective. Moreover, pre- and early post-treatment with PF (5 min after BV injection) could successfully suppress the occurrence and maintenance of the mirror-image heat hypersensitivity, whereas late post-treatment (3 h after BV) did not exert any significant impact. In the Rota-Rod treadmill test, PF administration did not affect the motor coordinating performance of rats. Furthermore, systemic PF application produced no significant influence upon BV-induced paw edema and swelling. Finally, the PF-produced antinociception was likely to be mediated by endogenous opioid receptors because of its naloxone-reversibility. Taken together, these results provide a new line of evidence showing that PF, besides its well-established neuroprotective actions in the CNS, is also able to produce analgesia against various ‘phenotypes’ of nociception and hypersensitivity via opioid receptor mediation.
