Assessing the value of land resources is a prerequisite for resource management, as well as for resolving the conflict between supply and demand. In the realm of intensive land use (ILU), a standardized framework for accounting methods from a project perspective has yet to be established. Therefore, taking the Taihu Lake governance project (TLGP) (which includes the Xingou River project, Xinmeng River project and Zoumatang River project) as a case study, this paper firstly constructs an integrated value accounting system based on economic, social and ecological frameworks. Furthermore, with consideration of physical parameters, we incorporated the integrated land section price method, income reduction method, alternative market method, and equivalent factor method are all incorporated to assess the value of ILU at distinct stages within the research area. This approach serves to elucidate the evolving dynamics of ILU valuation. The results showed that: (1) There were significant differences in the values generated by the ILU in different projects. The integrated value of the TLGP brought about by ILU was 177,189,300 yuan, and the ILU of the Xinmeng River project was significantly higher than the Zoumatang River project and the Xingou River project. (2) The ILU at different stages basically displayed the law of diminishing marginal utility. Consistent with changes in the different stages of the TLGP, the value of ILU in Stage I of the Zoumatang River project and the Xingou River project was significantly higher than that in Stage II. Additionally, the accounting system proposed in this study has the advantages of reasonable index setting and simple process operability. This helps to realize the comparison of ILU values across projects and stages. The results of this study can provide a reference for the management and sustainable use of land resources during the construction of water conservancy and other projects.
The continuing degradation of ecosystem functioning, particularly in areas of fast-growing economies, is a common challenge facing humanity today and a focus of global research on sustainable ...development. A typical fast-developing economic region in Southeastern China, namely Sunan Canal Basin of Jiangsu Province (SCBJ), was selected for this study. Based on remote sensing monitoring data of land use for five periods of 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2019, the ecosystem service value (ESV) of SCBJ was measured using the equivalent factor method, and the spatial and temporal evolution of the ESV was analyzed using contribution and spatial statistical methods. Panel quantile regression was employed to explore in depth the segmental effects of the ecosystem service influencing factors and to increase the understanding of ecosystem service influencing mechanisms. Our results showed the following: (1) From 2000 to 2019, the land use structure was stable, and the comprehensive land use dynamic degree was continuously reduced. There were significant differences in the single land use dynamic degree of each land type, especially for built-up land. (2) During the study period, the total ESV increased first and then decreased, with the decreasing regions mainly distributed in the southeast of SCBJ and the urban rapid expansion areas on both sides of the canal. (3) In areas with different levels of ESV, the influencing factors had different impact effects. The mean proximity index (MPI), i.e., land use integrity, had a significant enhancement effect at the low ESV region and a significant dampening effect at the high ESV region. As the quantile points increase, the positive effects of the annual mean temperature (ATE), annual mean precipitation (APR), and net primary productivity (NPP) on ecosystem services gradually increase, which increased the gap between high and low ESV areas, creating a “natural Matthew effect”, while the negative effects of economic density (GDP) and population density (POP) on ecosystem services gradually decreased.
Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) needs to remove cobalt from diamond layer to improve wear resistance and impact resistance. The traditional cobalt removal process has low efficiency and long ...time. In this paper, a mixed solvent of hydrochloric acid and Lewis acid (FeCl3) was used as cobalt removal reagents, pressurized chemical precipitation method was used to study the cobalt removal of PDC. The effects of different reagent ratio, reaction temperature and reaction pressure on the surface morphology and de‑cobalt depth of PDC were studied. The holes morphology of PDC surface after cobalt removal was analyzed by SEM and ImageJ2x image analysis software. The fractal dimension of the holes on the PDC surface was calculated by the Area-circumference method, and the relationship between fractal dimension of hole and de‑cobalt depth was studied. The results show that the cobalt in PDC can be efficiently removed by pressure chemical precipitation method. The relationship between fractal dimension of the holes and the depth of cobalt removal is established. The cobalt removal efficiency of pressurized chemical precipitation method is higher than that of conventional acid leaching method. After cobalt removal, the wear resistance and impact toughness of PDC are further improved.

The pursuit of flood prevention safety and the mitigation of drainage contradiction against an unnecessary influx of floodwater require a modern and efficient model to optimize the management of the ...initial allocation of flood drainage rights. We attempted to formulate a framework for initial flood drainage rights allocation to promote the sustainable drainage of the Sunan Canal, China. The Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model was constructed using a literature review and interviews with experts and directors using 18 key indicators being determined from field surveys and library studies. We then assessed the flood status of Zhenjiang City, Changzhou City, Wuxi City and Suzhou City in the Sunan Canal zone using an entropy-based matter-element model. The flood drainage rights for a total of 400m.sup.3 /s was allocated to the four cities in accordance with their flood status. Our research demonstrated that, overall, the four cities may gain the flood drainage rights of 106.67m.sup.3 /s,120.40m.sup.3 /s, 118.22m.sup.3 /s and 54.71m.sup.3 /s, respectively. Specifically, the calculation of the flood drainage for Wuxi was very close to the actual allocation in 2016, whereas there were differences in the other cities that should not be neglected.

To achieve the objective of high-quality development, an in-depth examination of the coupling coordination relationship between industrial green water and science and technology (S&T) innovation is essential. This study takes Chinese 30 provincial regions as specific examples and constructs the improved three-stage SBM-DEA model and entropy weight TOPSIS model to assess industrial green water efficiency and the level of S&T innovation during 2009–2021. Based on this, the coupling coordination model is applied to investigate the coupling coordination degree of industrial green water efficiency and S&T innovation, as well as the characteristics of the spatio-temporal distributions. Finally, we utilize a spatial autocorrelation model to reveal the spatial clustering characteristics of the coordination degree of the two. The findings indicate that: (1) The results of the evaluation of industrial green water efficiency and the level of S&T innovation show that the development of each province is not balanced, and the performance of the eastern coastal region is more prominent. (2) China's overall coupling coordination degree is rising steadily and moving from primary coordination into the good coordination stage. Most provinces are in the primary coordination and good coordination stages. Qinghai remains in the low coordination stage throughout the study period. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Guangdong enter the high coordination stage. (3) The spatial distribution of the coupling coordination level of the two systems shows a pattern of high in the east and low in the west, with a positive spillover effect on the spatial adjacency. The high-high coupling coordination degree area exhibits a tendency to shift towards the central region. This paper provides a scientific basis for analyzing the coupling coordination degree and spatio-temporal differences between industrial green water efficiency and S&T innovation.
As the carrier of enterprise water resources management disclosure, water information disclosure is a means of expression of enterprises' environmental responsibility. First, a corporate water ...information disclosure quality evaluation index system and evaluation method are established, and with the help of the projection tracing method of accelerated genetic algorithm, 27 paper companies in China are selected as a sample and the disclosure quality level is analyzed empirically. Then, the analysis is carried out in terms of three changes in vertical trends, horizontal trends and changes in laws, regulations and policies, and the results show that Chinese paper and paper product enterprises have low quality of water information disclosure, weak disclosure content and low voluntary disclosure. Finally, feasible suggestions are made based on the evaluation of disclosure issues.
The security of water resources is the core content and ultimate goal of urban water resource management agencies. The management of water resources is directly related to the needs of urban ...residents’ lives and the area’s socio-economic development. How to determine the effective evaluation indicators and methods is an important prerequisite to solving the water resource security problem. This study took Luoyang City as the research area and constructed a water resource security evaluation index system based on pressure-state-response framework. An analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method were used to determine the index weight. A set pair analysis model was then introduced to evaluate the security of water resources in Luoyang from 2006 to 2016. The results of this study show that the standard of water resource security generally improved in Luoyang in the latter years of the study period. From 2006 to 2008, Luoyang was graded at the Insecurity Level. This compares to a slightly improved grading of Critical Security Level from 2009 to 2016 (except for 2013). However, the overall grade is still low. The pressure on the Luoyang water resource system mainly comes from the development of the urban socio-economy, which in turn has caused problems for both the quantity and quality of water resources. Therefore, a series of countermeasures have been introduced as a means of improving the water resource security of Luoyang, and these measures have achieved certain results. However, further improvements to the efficiency of water resource utilization and strengthening the management and protection of water resources remain necessary.

The frequent occurrence of floods poses a serious threat to various aspects such as socio-economic development, ecological stability, and safety of people’s lives and properties. In order to reduce ...flood losses and improve the overall regional flood control efficiency, the DPSIR model is used to construct an index system affecting the allocation of drainage rights considering the characteristics and allocation principles of drainage rights. The objective and subjective weights determined by the hierarchical analysis and entropy method are optimally combined according to the game theory idea, and finally, the drainage rights allocation model of the game combination weight-improved matter-element extension model is constructed. In addition, this paper conducts a case study with data from 2017–2021 in the south Jiangsu canal region, and the results show that the drainage rights allocation is influenced by social, economic, and ecological aspects, among which the most influential are ecological and economic aspects; the drainage rights quota size from 2017–2021 is in the order of Wuxi, Suzhou, Changzhou, and Zhenjiang.

The booming development of industrial enterprises at the cost of ecological resource consumption has inevitably harmed the ecological environment, especially since the phenomenon of water resource pollution is more serious. Exploring the relationship between the ecological environment and the industrial economy is crucial to the green and sustainable development of the region. This study uses the Spatial Durbin Model (SDM) to investigate the impact of emergy ecological footprint on the industrial green of gross domestic product (GDP) under the perspective of water resources, based on the panel data of 11 provinces in Chinas Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) from 2012 to 2021. The results show that first, the overall industrial green GDP of the YREB has increased year by year, and the effect of water resource protection is outstanding. Second, the emergy ecological footprint has a significant positive effect on industrial green GDP, and the spillover effect is also significant. Third, heterogeneity analysis shows that the spatial relationship between emergy ecological footprint and industrial green GDP is different in different regions, and the local effect and neighborhood effect of the high industrial green economic development areas are consistent with those of the YREB, while the relationship between the low industrial green economic development areas is not obvious. This paper is of great significance for the green development of industrial enterprises in the YREB and guides the formulation of sustainable development policies.
