A study of hadron production at the nucleon-antinucleon threshold has been performed with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. The very fast rise with about 1 MeV width has been ...observed in the e+e−→pp¯ cross section. A sharp drop in the e+e−→3(π+π−) cross section has been confirmed and found to have a less than 2 MeV width, in agreement with the observed fast rise of the e+e−→pp¯ cross section. For the first time a similar sharp drop is demonstrated in the e+e−→K+K−π+π− cross section. The behavior of the e+e−→3(π+π−),K+K−π+π− cross sections cannot be explained by an interference of any resonance amplitude with continuum, therefore this phenomenon cannot be due to a narrow near-threshold resonance. No such structure has been observed in the e+e−→2(π+π−) cross section.
The cross section of the process e+e−→3(π+π−)π0 has been measured for the first time using a data sample of 56.7 pb−1 collected with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. 632±32 signal ...events have been selected in the center-of-mass energy range 1.6–2.0 GeV. A study of dynamics of seven-pion production allows one to extract contributions of the dominated 2(π+π−)ω and 2(π+π−)η intermediate states.
Inclusive multi-jet production is studied in proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, using the ATLAS detector. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.4 pb
...−1
. Results on multi-jet cross sections are presented and compared to both leading-order plus parton-shower Monte Carlo predictions and to next-to-leading-order QCD calculations.

The review presents the experiments performed with the KEDR detector at the
collider VEPP-4M in the energy range of
= 1.84–3.88 GeV. The cross section of
annihilation to hadrons was measured at 22 ...points of this range and the search for narrow resonances was conducted below 3.1 GeV. The masses of
and
mesons were measured with a record accuracy better than
; their partial and total widths were determined. Measurements of the tau lepton mass and masses of charged and neutral
mesons were performed with high precision. The measurements of the
parameters are discussed, and attention is drawn to some inconsistency of the procedure employed by the Particle Data Group for determining its parameters.
A cross section of the process e+e−→π+π−π+π− has been measured using 6798±93 signal events from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.8 pb−1 collected with the CMD-3 detector ...in the center-of-mass energy range 920–1060 MeV. The measured cross section exhibits a pattern of interference of the ϕ(1020)→π+π−π+π− decay with a non-resonant process e+e−→π+π−π+π−, from which we obtain the branching fraction of the doubly suppressed decays (by G-parity and OZI rule): B(ϕ→π+π−π+π−)=(6.5±2.7±1.6)×10−6.
The barrel electromagnetic calorimeter of the CMD-3 detector consists of two subsystems: the Liquid Xenon calorimeter and the calorimeter based on CsI scintillation crystals. Its structure and main ...characteristics are presented. The energy calibration procedures of the combined calorimeter are described.
A recent result of the cross section measurement of the process e + e − → K S K π at e + e − collider VEPP-2000 is presented using a data sample of the ∼150 pb−1 integrated luminosity collected with ...the CMD-3 detector. The processes with charged kaons in multi hadron events attract special interest, because they impact strongly on studies of light quark hadronization, isospin symmetry, and strange meson spectroscopy. Experimental results of e + e − → K S K π cross section are presented in a broad energy range covered by the VEPP-2000 and compared to earlier measurements. A study of the production dynamics confirms the dominance of neutral KK * ( 892 ) intermediate state.
Using the inclusive photon spectrum based on a data sample collected at the J/ψ peak with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e− collider, we measured the rate of the radiative decay J/ψ→γηc as well ...as ηc mass and width. Taking into account an asymmetric photon lineshape we obtained Γγηc0=2.98±0.18−0.33+0.15keV, Mηc=2983.5±1.4−3.6+1.6MeV/c2, Γηc=27.2±3.1−2.6+5.4MeV.
