This research is intended to examine the implementation of the supervision of the headmaster of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jeneponto, which includes: processes, techniques, as well as supporting and ...inhibiting factors. The type of this research is qualitative and the informants are the head of the madrasah, the deputy head of the madrasah, and two subject teachers. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that 1) the process of implementing the supervision of the headmaster of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jeneponto through three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and meeting back and follow-up. 2) There are two techniques in implementing the supervision of the headmaster, namely individual supervision and group supervision. Individual supervision technique in the form of class visits, inter-class visits, class observations, and individual meetings. Whereas in the group technique, the headmaster uses a meeting between the supervisor (headmaster) and the teachers. 3) The supporting factor for the implementation of the supervision is the readiness of the teacher to receive guidance and assistance from the headmaster; fostering good relations between fellow teachers and madrasah principals; a conducive madrasah climate; completeness of facilities and infrastructure; availability of adequate teachers and staff both in quantity and quality. The inhibiting factor is the limited time due to the many activities/duties of the head of the madrasah both inside and outside the madrasah.
This study measures the effect of strategic collaboration approach on the Educational National Standards (ENS) and the basic education service quality at local government in Indonesia The research ...used a quantitative method. We used 489 teachers and 271 school principals in primary and secondary schools. The data were collected through questionnaires for the quantitative data and analyze using a structural model. The research findings confirm strategic collaboration approach has a positive and significant effect on ENS and basic education service quality. Further, the educational national standards have a positive and significant effect on the basic education service. In this study, we found that the strategic collaboration approach may employ in basic education to perform basic education performance. We argue that to better implementation of strategic collaboration approach, the greater improvement of the achievement of ENS and basic education service quality at local government in Indonesia.
The problem in this research were: what is the level of learning implementation and learning achievement of History and Culture of the VIII grade students of MTs Al-Amanah in Jeneponto Regency? The ...purpose of this study is to describe: An overview of the implementation of learning and learning achievement levels History of Islamic culture in class VIII students of MTs Al-Amanah in Jeneponto Regency. This research was development research (R&D). Development research was research which was oriented towards the development or refinement of a science in overcame a problem directly through an action and self-reflection based on the results of the research, which aimed to improve or enhance educational services that must be carried out in the context of classroom learning. Based on the research results that have been described in the previous chapter, the research results were formulated as follows: Achievement of learning Islamic History and Culture using audio-visual media Students of class VIII MTs Al-Amanah in Jeneponto Regency has a significant increase. Of the 38 students at Madrasa Tsanawiyah Al-Amanah Jeneponto Regency, 20 people got the high category and 13 people got the high enough category after taking action using audio-visual media. Different things before being given the action of using audio-visual media in Islamization learning material activities in South Sulawesi.
This study aimed to find out how the description of the need for the development of problem-based learning models in Islamic boarding schools in the subjects of Social Sciences. This research is the ...initial phase in research and development (R & D) devoted to studying needs analysis with a qualitative approach. Data were collected using several instruments such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. Furthermore, the data were analyzed qualitatively by using content analysis techniques. The results showed the teachers and students at the As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School, especially MTs. As’adiyah Putra 1 Sengkang showed that students' ability in the field of Social Science studies still needed methods that we’re able to improve their learning achievement so that they could exceed the Minimum Completeness Criteria. They need innovation in the development of problem-based learning models to replace conventional methods that have been used in Islamic boarding schools.
One of the teacher's abilities in supporting learning objectives is to design learning products according to the needs in the field. To determine the quality of the developed product, the teacher ...must conduct several tests involving experts, students, and teachers. This study aims to assess the quality of the learning model that has been developed by researchers, namely the Contextual Teaching & Learning (CTL) learning model to improve students’ life skills through Islamic Religious Education (IRE) subjects. This research is a development phase in research & development methods focusing on testing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning model. There were three groups of participants included in this study, namely experts, teachers, and students, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using several instruments, namely: (1) validation sheets, (2) teacher response questionnaires, and (3) life skills observation sheets. The collected data is then analyzed quantitatively to determine the categories of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study results show that the CTL learning model is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the life skills of high school students.
This study is intended to develop a model of Junior High School which can accommodate the teaching-learning needs of SLTP located in a remote area. The model is intended to be one which best utilizes ...the infrastructure and social resources or potential of the area. This study purposively selected the village of Leling in the sub-district of Kalumpang, Mamuju, South Celebes as the setting to carry out the exploration and action. The exploratory activities show that the selected area has the necessary resources to implement the model of SLTP using web-partnership management. This web-partnership management promotes the potential of the area so that the related parties are engaged in planning, implementing, and controlling the educational programs to achieve their shared goals. The model development activities realize the model consisting of organizational structure in the form of web the school elements or units of which, to reach the student home-base, are headed by a school associate principals. Within the context of village, the school associate principals are autonomous in their activities. Even though the model is established in view of maximizing the potential of remote areas, the model can also be transferred to different and not necessarily remote areas
All Early Childhood Education teachers realize that storytelling is one of the character-building methods for early childhood. It is rarely applied because storytelling is difficult; they cannot act ...and imitate voices or sounds. Although there are capable teachers, they are still amateur. Therefore, teachers need a storytelling guide that is valid, practical, and effective. In this study, teachers who were respondents came from four Early Childhood Education units in Palu City, Province of Central Sulawesi. Data was obtained through literature and field studies by collecting theories from relevant research through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data collection was carried out in a natural condition and analyzed qualitatively in the form of descriptive data. The results of the study stated that was valid, practical, and effectively used by teachers, that was an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and skills in storytelling after using the guide of the development model.
