We analyze a 37 pb−1 data sample collected with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider in the center-of-mass energy range 1.05–2.00 GeV and present an updated measurement of the ...e+e−→ωπ0→π0π0γ cross section. In particular, we correct the mistake in radiative correction calculation made in our previous measurement based on a part of the data. The measured cross section is fitted with the vector meson dominance model with three ρ-like states and used to test the conserved vector current hypothesis in the τ−→ωπ−ντ decay.

The problem of synthesis of precision modal control systems is considered. It is noted that a common approach to solving this problem is to consistently meet the requirements for the nature of the ...transient process and for the indicators of its accuracy. This approach to synthesis is faced with the need to make design decisions under incomplete conditions. In practice, this circumstance leads to obtaining synthesis results with undesirable deviations from technical requirements. When designing precision control systems, such deviations are unacceptable. To eliminate the difficulties that arise, a transition to interval methods for formulating and solving modal synthesis problems is proposed. The theoretical possibility of the interval approach is based on the excessive variety of possible placement of eigenvalues in the spectrum of the characteristic matrix of the system. An example of an interval synthesis of a system with a modal controller and additional output feedback is considered. The restrictions on the spectrum of the specified matrix are formed, which determine the fulfillment of the requirements for the monotonicity of the transient process, the regulation time and the accuracy of the response to harmonic influences. It is noted that the variety of solutions obtained creates the preconditions for a multi-alternative approach to modal synthesis of systems.
The process e+e−→π+π−π0η is studied in the center-of-mass energy region below 2 GeV with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. The following four intermediate states contribute to this ...process: ωη, ϕη, a0(980)ρ, and a structureless π+π−π0η state. We measure the total e+e−→π+π−π0η cross section and the cross sections for its components: ωη, ϕη, and a sum of a0(980)ρ and the structureless state. Our results are in agreement with previous measurements and have comparable or better accuracies.
The e+e−→ηπ+π− cross section is measured at the Spherical Neutral Detector (SND) detector in the η decay mode η→3π0. The analysis is based on the data sample with an integrated luminosity of 32.7 ...pb−1 collected at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider in the center-of-mass energy range s=1.075–2.000 GeV. The data obtained in the η→3π0 decay mode are found to be in agreement with the previous SND measurements in the η→γγ mode. Therefore the measurements in the two modes are combined.
The article presents a method for calculating a simply supported slab with a supple support contour using a numerical method in a computational software package. The support contour of a simply ...supported slab is formed by groups of two nodal finite elements, which allow modeling a linear supple bond in the vertical direction. They take into account the possibility of changes in the design scheme due to subsidence of the walls. The suppleness of the contour of prefabricated elements is 1 mm without taking into account the bends of the corners of a simply supported slab. The forces and reinforcement of a simply supported square slab were calculated according to the proposed methodology with a calculation where the joints of the contour are set to move in the vertical direction. As a result, the bending moments in the middle of the span increase, and the torques in the corners of the slab decrease. The reinforcement of the upper area of the slab is not required. The reinforcement of the lower area of the slab is increased by the amount of released reinforcement from the upper area of the slab.
The cross section of the process e+e−→ωη is measured in the center-of-mass energy range 1.34–2.00 GeV. The analysis is based on data collected with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. ...The measured e+e−→ωη cross section is the most accurate to date. A significant discrepancy is observed between our data and previous BABAR measurements.
This paper presents the results of temperature shift measurements in a brain phantom based on agar gel and including elements simulating a tumor (glioblastoma) and cerebrospinal fluid for assessment ...of the safety of real courses of high-frequency hyperthermia using a Celsius TCS system. No “hot spots” formed at the boundary between normal brain tissue and fluid and the temperature did not excess physiological values. Higher tempera-tures were produced in the model viable tumor (glioblastoma), reaching the values required for hyperthermic radiosensitization.

A search for the rare decay η→e+e− is performed using the inverse process e+e−→η in the decay mode η→π0π0π0. We analyze data with an integrated luminosity of 654 nb−1 accumulated at the VEPP-2000 ...e+e− collider with the SND detector at the center-of-mass energy E=mηc2≈548 MeV, and set the upper limit B(η→e+e−)<7×10−7 at the 90% confidence level.
