In traditional approaches to the teaching of art and arts activities at the preschool age, art has been viewed mostly in terms of emotional self-expression and development. According to this view, ...art and arts activities foster the development of creativity, imagination and emotions, but little consideration is given to their link to cognitive processes and to their synthetic character. In general education, art and arts activities are often relegated to marginal status. This paper presents a theoretical examination of the potential of arts activities to enhance the development of a well-rounded personality in children. Through a theoretical analysis of the relevant literature, research and ideas in recent theory which emphasize the synthetic character of art, the potential of arts activities in all segments of development and creativity at the preschool age has been examined. However, in obtaining the full benefit of arts activities in practice, the manner in which arts activities with children at this age are carried out is extremely important. Of particular importance in this process is the influence and role of early childhood educators, who should act as mediators, partners and co-explorers, facilitating, supporting, enriching and participating in the process of free exploration and creativity. Giving primacy to these roles of a teacher would help bring about a change in the child's position in early childhood education and would also change and expand the child's range of activities.
The deficiency of medical care professionals is a very popular economic and social problem that's becoming an important issue for a lot of countries. This paper aims to give an overall review and ...analysis of research results about the existence and reasons for migration (circulation) of highly educated healthcare personnel in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. The research that has been done in June 2022 included 604 students from three higher education institutions in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. The results, of which we came, showed that brain circulation happens mostly from economically weaker countries to the more developed ones, while better life standards, an opportunity for better studies and getting more practical skills are the most frequent motives for healthcare students.
The problem of brain drain is not a new problem in underdeveloped countries and those in transition. Young educated people leave their countries seeking better future, which further damages already ...weakened economy while the developed countries become even stronger. According to the data of the World Economic Forum, Srbija holds the second place in brain drain. The cited problem is usually analyzed by checking the students of the state owned universities whose studies are financed by the Republic of Serbia. The authors were motivated to explore the same problem but with the students of privately owned universities. Our explorative research was aimed at revealing the attitudes of these students towards leaving the country and work or study abroad. The research included 226 graduate and master students of the Faculty of digital arts, IT Faculty, the Faculty of Management and the Metropolitan University. The sample was deliberately selected. The majority of the responders (two thirds) are increasingly interested in finding jobs abroad. This initial research was aimed at identification of the reasons for leaving the country. The respondents state that the reasons are better life conditions, chances for getting job, further studying and bad political and economic situation in the country, poorly paid jobs, new experiences and possibilities of promotion.

The research was performed in period May to July 2014, by direct contact with customer of taxi services. The results of research have confirmed the initial hypothesis and provide possibilities for further insight into the way of using taxi services and general circumstances that characterize them in mentioned region. On this basis, it is provided proposals for improvement of taxi services and easier outreach of target groups.
A large number of available analyses and research on the brain-drain phenomenon support the fact that this issue is very relevant and important from different social aspects, and therefore we have ...chosen it as the topic of our paper. While analyzing the available theories, we were confronted with a number of different viewpoints regarding the brain-drain phenomenon: from a neutral impact over the negative to full positive impact of the brain-drain on countries of origin. All researchers, however, agree that there is a range of push and pull factors influencing the brain-drain phenomenon of the general social, economic, family, but also geographical and natural conditions. An important economic factor is the money arriving from developing countries precisely from the people who left their home countries. It is impossible to analyze the brain-drain phenomenon and ignore the globalization process. It directly affects the transformation of the brain-drain phenomenon into brain-circulation as a recent phenomenon.
Media shape the reality perceived by readership. The readership receives information from the media in the form in which the readers tend to pass them on as their own opinions. Despite the increasing ...danger of such reality, no research into the perception on tabloid editions has been conducted locally. The aim of this research was to verify if there are laws in the perception on tabloids concerning the characteristics of certain segments of population. The research thus established the correlation between the increase of negative attitudes to tabloids and the higher education level in respondents. Another expectation made in initial hypotheses being of greater social significance was an extremely high level of agreement in the opinion that tabloids represent a low form of culture, that their reporting is distasteful and that they should not be trusted. The theoretical framework and the results obtained through research may be of great significance for both the media and other participants in the advertising industry - advertisers and advertising agencies. The scientific contribution of this paper is in the initial data obtained by the researchers pertaining to the readership (respondents) perception of tabloids in RS, which regard the fields of sociology, media and advertising.
