Dans le présent travail les auteurs traitent des emplois et des valeurs des formes QUE français et DA serbe dans les structures corrélatives de ces deux langues donnant suite aux recherches ...commencées par les articles « QUE vs DA. Prilog proučavanju nepromenljivih kategorija reči u francuskom i srpskom jeziku » (Nasleđe No 44) et « QUE vs DA ou Question sémantique vs question terminologique » (Jezici i kulture u vremenu i prostoru 9/1). La corrélativité étant pratiquement la caractéristique principale des structures comparatives et consécutives, nous nous sommes donné la tâche de répondre, partant toujours du français pour aller vers le serbe, aux questions suivantes : 1. Est-ce que la corrélativité fonctionne de la même façon dans les deux langues? 2. Est-ce que la forme QUE aura toujours comme équivalent DA en serbe dans les structures corrélatives? et 3. Si les QUE et DA ne sont pas toujours équivalents, en quoi consiste la différence?
Le corpus pour cette étude est extrait des textes littéraires français et leurs traductions en serbe. En s’appuyant sur l’analyse contrastive, la théorie cognitive et l’approche sémantique, ce travail fera voir les ressemblances et les différences structurales et sémantiques des structures comparatives d’un côté et d’autre d’un type de structures syntaxiques qui, en linguistique française, échappent à une classification uniforme de propositions subordonnées (propositions subordonnées circonstancielles de conséquence ou un type particulier de propositions?), ce qui n’est pas le cas dans la grammaire serbe où ces structures appartiennent à la classe de propositions subordonnées adverbiales, à savoir de conséquence.
In French and Serbian comparative constructions of equality and inequality, negative words are distributed according to their forms, meanings and functions.French negative words - ne most frequently ...complemented by a particle pas or some other negative word, a double particle ni…ni, as well as negative ne and a double particle ni…ni in Serbian appear in the main clause (but not in the dependent clause) of comparative constructions of equality and inequality. In comparative constructions of inequality with a positive main clause, French expletive ne appears in the dependent clause with the verb, while its equivalent in Serbian nego or no occurs as a connector at the beginning of the dependent clause.Negative words in the main clause of comparative constructions of equality make the French antecedents flexible: the reduced form si alternates with aussi, as well as reduced tant with autant, and Serbian ones stable: reduced tako (from isto tako) and reduced toliko (from isto toliko) are mandatory.The autonomous word isto (easily detachable) serves to enhance the meaning of equality.The French comparative constructions of inequality with a negative main clause may have a dependent clause without or with an expletive ne, while the equivalent Serbian constructions always have a dependent clause with nego or no containing an expletive ne.There is a semantic and a functional equivalence between the French and Serbian constructions, with some syntactic differences due to the systems of two languages.
Companies worldwide are embracing Business Process Orientation (BPO) in order to improve their overall performance. This article presents research results on key turning points in BPO maturity ...implementation efforts. A key turning point is defined as a component of business process maturity that leads to the establishment and expansion of other factors that move the organization to the next maturity level. Over the past few years, different methodologies for analyzing maturity state of BPO have been developed. The purpose of this article was to investigate the possibility of using data mining methods in detecting key turning points in BPO. Based on survey results obtained in 2013, the selected data mining technique of classification and regression trees was used to detect key turning points in Croatian companies. These findings present invaluable guidelines for any business that strives to achieve more efficient business processes.

Two major deposits of diatomaceous earth (diatomite) in the region of the Balkan Peninsula, the Kolubara basin (Serbia and Montenegro) and the Vesje deposit (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), ...were selected for detailed investigation of their possible application in preparation of beer filter aids. Chemical, mineralogical and structural properties of diatomite samples were analyzed with the aim of predicting the filtration efficiency. Results of beer filtering compounds preparation are presented in this paper. The parameters of crushing, drying, calcination and classification are also defined. Beer filtration tests proved diatomites to be satisfactory and not causing any degradation of filtration process or beer quality. Technological flow scheme for obtaining the beer filter aids is proposed in the paper.
Background: Urine beta2-microglobulin (beta2-MG) was mainly used as a tubular marker of Balkan endemic nephropathy (BEN) but recently alpha1-microglobulin (alpha1-MG) was proposed for the diagnosis ...of BEN. In this study, the potential of urine beta2-MG, alpha1-MG, albumin, and total protein in the differentiation of BEN from healthy persons and patients with glomerulonephritis (GN) and nephrosclerosis (NS) was examined. Methods: This study involved 47 patients with BEN, 36 with GN, 11 with NS, 30 healthy subjects from BEN families, and 46 healthy subjects from non-BEN families. Results: In BEN patients area under the curve (AUC) for urine beta2-MG (0.828) and alpha1-MG (0.782) was higher than for urine albumin (0.740), but in GN patients AUC for urine protein (0.854) and albumin (0.872) was significantly higher than for the two low molecular weight proteins. AUC for all four urinary markers in NS patients was significantly lower than in BEN patients, ranging between 500 and 595. Median urine beta2-MG excretion in BEN patients was 17.5 times higher than in GN patients and 18.3 times higher than in controls; median alpha1-MG excretion was higher only 3.0 and 2.25 times, respectively. In the differentiation of BEN from healthy controls, beta2-MG had higher sensitivity and specificity at the cutoff levels (p < 0.001) than alpha1-MG (p < 0.05). In the differentiation of BEN from GN, beta2-MG was the best marker. Conclusion: All four urinary markers can be used for the differential diagnosis of BEN, beta2-MG being the best. Like in aristolochic acid nephropathy, beta2-MG seems to be an early marker of tubular damage in BEN.
