Saline tilapia has a high tolerance when it comes to growing and developing in water salinity of 15 - 25 ppt. The used method was an experiment. The highest level of erythrocytes was found in the ...30th day nanobubble (33.63 x 104 cells/mm3) and the lowest was on the 0th day of using the aerator (8.25 × 104 cells/mm3). The highest level of leukocytes was found on the 30th day of the nanobubbles (45,175 cells/mm3) and the lowest was on the 0th day of the aerator (15,375 cells/mm3). The highest level of basophils was found on the 30th day of the nanobubbles (5.75%) and the lowest was on the 10th day of the aerator (2.38%). The highest level of eosinophils was on the 0th day (4.75%) and the lowest was on 30th day nanobubble (3.38%). The highest level of neutrophils was found on the 10th day (68%) and the lowest level was found on 0 day with the aerator (32.13%). The highest level of lymphocytes was found on the 20th day (55.25%) and the lowest was found on the 30th day with the aerator (18.13%). The highest level of monocytes was found on the 20th day (9.625%) and the lowest was found on the 30th day with the aerator (7.5%). This showed that the cultivation system using nanobubbles affected the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes in the saline tilapia.
Land preparation in a traditional shrimp pond is one of the most important parts to do. Soil Redox Potential is an indispensable parameter to see the readiness of soil land or the level of fertility ...of cultivated land in carrying out activities. It is toxic to shrimp such as sulfide compounds (H2S), nitrites and ammonia. This research is descriptive in nature, by observing 5 traditional aquaculture ponds measuring 3500 m2, with shrimp densities of 100 individuals/m2. The use of Hydrogen Peroxide is pool 1 (0.5 ppm/m2), pool 2 (1 ppm/m2), pool 3 (1.5 ppm/m2), pool 4 (2 ppm/m2) and pool 5 as a control (0 ppm/m2). The basis for determining the use of Hydrogen Peroxide doses is from a minimum reference dose. The best results in pool 3 with a potential reduction value of 331 m/v, wherein one period the value of NH4 ranged from 0-2 ppm with ADG (Average Daily Growth) every week an average of 0.3 grams.
Abstract
ZSM-5 and analcime were successfully synthesized from coal fly ash using hydrothermal method in alkaline solution. The fly ash used was taken from the Paiton PLTU, one of the largest steam ...power plants in Indonesia. The fly ash was purified using sulphuric acid for 30 minutes and it was found that it has 17.7 wt.% of Si content and 2.79 wt.% of Al content. The zeolite synthesis was carried out in a hydrothermal reactor at 160
o
C and 3 bar for 48 hours both with and without alumina addition. Subsequently, the zeolite produced was then calcined and characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The results showed that ZSM-5 crystals were obtained from the hydrothermal process without alumina addition. On the other hand, the addition of alumina has a large impact on the hydrothermal process, which formed analcime crystals as the final product. Furthermore, the ZSM-5 and analcime produced have great correspondence to ICSD (Inorganic Crystal Structure Database) standards (no. 61010 for ZSM-5 and no. 34877 for analcime).
The problems that are often faced by fishermen include decreased durability and stress during handling caused by pathogenic organisms known as ectoparasites on the gills that disrupt the respiratory ...tract of the lobster during transportation. An ectoparasite that often infests the gills of lobsters includes Octolasmis, which is suspected to be a factor that triggers stress and causes death with a high level of infestation. This study aims to identify the species and to determine the prevalence of the ectoparasite Octolasmis that infests sand lobster (P.homarus) and bamboo lobster (P.versicolor) in the floating net cages in Sape, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study used the survey method and the data analysis was descriptive. The results showed that the species that infested the sand lobster (P.homarus) and bamboo lobster (P.versicolor) were Octolasmis lowei and Octolasmis angulata. The prevalence in sand lobster (P. homarus) was 70%, which consisted of a single infestation of 55% (infested O.angulata) and the mixed infestation was 15% (O.angulata and O.lowei). The prevalence in the bamboo lobster (P. versicolor) was 100%, which consisted of a single infestation of 84% (infested O. angulata) and the mixed infestation was 16% (O.angulata and O.lowei).
The most widely cultivated freshwater fish are from Familia Cyprinidae, among others goldfish (Carassius auratus), koi (Cyprinus carpio) and comet goldfish (Carassius auratus auratus). One of the ...constraints of freshwater fish cultivation is ectoparasite infestation Argulus japonicus. Financial losses have been experienced by some farmers, caused by these ectoparasitic infestaions. This study was aimed to determine the impact of ectoparasite Argulus japonicus infestation on host (freshwater ornamental fish from Familia Cyprinidae), in order to find a preventive solution to treatment on the host. The results showed that prevalence of infested fish by Argulus japonicus were 57 % goldfish, 31 % comet fish and 65 % koi. Changes of histopathology on host were congestion, baoning degeneration, epithelium erosion and inflammatory cell infiltration. The image of infected leukocytes infested by Argulus japonicus were 8.5 % of lymphocytes, 4.7 % neurophils, 3.9 % monocytes, 1.45 % eosinophils and 0,17% basophils.

Cockle (Anadara inaequivalvis) is aquatic biota belonging to the mollusk group. Cockle has a high potential because all parts of its body can be processed and economic value. Cockle can be used for ...consumption and the shells can be used as jewelry. According to the data from WWF Indonesia (2017), the production of cockle in the estuary of Banjar Kemuning River from 2006-2016 decreased in average by 0.84% every year. One of the efforts in maintaining the availability of cockle in the waters is conducting research on the analysis of gonad maturity level on cockle. The purpose of this research is to learn the morphological structure and histological structure of cockle gonad (Anadara inaequivalvis) in the estuary of Banjar Kemuning River at different levels of gonad maturity and to learn the maturity level of cockle gonad (Anadara inaequivalvis) in the estuary of Banjar River Kemuning through morphological and histological observation. This research used descriptive method with data collection by field observation. The sampling technique used the method of quota sampling. The analysis result shows that gonad maturity level of cockle in the estuary of Banjar Kemuning River in December is dominated by TKG IV, in January is dominated by TKG I, and in February is dominated by TKG II. The male cockle's first mature gonads are at the shell length of 35.73 mm (34.55-36.91 mm) and female cockle's first mature gonad are at the shell length of 37.21 mm (36.06-38.37 mm).

The marine leech, Zeylanicobdella arugamensis, is a major threat to aquaculture in grouper‐producing countries including Indonesia. This study aimed at investigating prevalence, intensity and ...histopathology of the ectoparasite in humpback and hybrid groupers cultured in different rearing systems. A total of 260 groupers (60 humpback groupers and 200 hybrid groupers) were used for samples. The marine leech was observed on skin, fins, gills and mouth, followed by histopathological assay on the skin tissue. The results showed that prevalence of the leech in both groupers was higher when they were cultured in the floating net cages compared with the hatchery, p < .05. Furthermore, humpback grouper had a higher prevalence than hybrid grouper when they were cultured in a similar system, p < .05. Meanwhile, there was no significant difference in intensity between the two groupers, p > .05. Within the hybrid groupers, the highest prevalence was obtained from hybrid groupers reared in the earthen ponds. Histopathological studies showed that the infected groupers exhibited inflammation, congestion and erosion of the epidermis layer. Hybrid grouper had more severe histopathological lesions in the skin tissues. These results suggested that species and type of aquaculture system had significantly determined the prevalence, intensity and severity of lesion in Z. arugamensis infestation.
