Using 6.32 fb–1 of electron-positron collision data recorded by the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.178 and 4.226 GeV, we present the first search for the decay $D^{+}_{s}$ → ...a0(980)0e+νe, a0(980)0 → π0η, which could proceed via a0(980) – f0(980) mixing. No significant signal is observed. An upper limit of 1.2 × 10–4 at the 90% confidence level is set on the product of the branching fractions of $D^{+}_{s}$ → a0(980)0e+νe and a0(980)0 → π0η decays.
We present results on light weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) searches with annual modulation (AM) analysis on data from a 1-kg mass p-type point-contact germanium detector of the CDEX-1B ...experiment at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. Datasets with a total live time of 3.2 yr within a 4.2-yr span are analyzed with analysis threshold of 250 eVee. Limits on WIMP-nucleus (χ-N) spin-independent cross sections as function of WIMP mass (m_{χ}) at 90% confidence level (C.L.) are derived using the dark matter halo model. Within the context of the standard halo model, the 90% C.L. allowed regions implied by the DAMA/LIBRA and CoGeNT AM-based analysis are excluded at >99.99% and 98% C.L., respectively. These results correspond to the best sensitivity at m_{χ}<6 GeV/c^{2} among WIMP AM measurements to date.
We present improved germanium-based constraints on sub-GeV dark matter via dark matter-electron (χ-e) scattering using the 205.4 kg·day dataset from the CDEX-10 experiment. Using a novel calculation ...technique, we attain predicted χ-e scattering spectra observable in high-purity germanium detectors. In the heavy mediator scenario, our results achieve 3 orders of magnitude of improvement for m_{χ} larger than 80 MeV/c^{2} compared to previous germanium-based χ-e results. We also present the most stringent χ-e cross-section limit to date among experiments using solid-state detectors for m_{χ} larger than 90 MeV/c^{2} with heavy mediators and m_{χ} larger than 100 MeV/c^{2} with electric dipole coupling. The result proves the feasibility and demonstrates the vast potential of a new χ-e detection method with high-purity germanium detectors in ultralow radioactive background.
The decays ψ2(3823 ) → γχc0,1,2, π+π− J/ψ, π0π0J/ψ , ηJ/ψ, and π0J/ψ are searched for using the reaction e+e− → π+π− ψ2 (3823) in a 19 fb−1 data sample collected at center-of-mass energies between ...4.1 and 4.7 GeV with the BESIII detector. The process ψ2(3823) → γχc1 is observed in a 9 fb−1 data sample in the center-of-mass energy range 4.3–4.7 GeV, which confirms a previous observation but with a higher significance of 11.8 σ , and evidence for ψ2(3823) → γχc2 is found with a significance of 3.2 σ for the first time. The branching-fraction ratio ... is determined. No significant ψ2 (3823) signals are observed for any of the other decay channels. Upper limits of branching-fraction ratios for ψ2(3823 ) → π+π− J/ψ , π0π0 J/ψ, ηJ/ψ , π0 J/ψ, γ χc0 relative to ψ2 (3823) → γχc1 are reported. The process e+e− → π0π0ψ2 (3823) is also searched for, and we find evidence for the process with a significance of 4.3 σ . The average cross-section ratio σ (e+e− → π0π0ψ2 (3823)) σ (e+e− → π+π− ψ2 (3823)) is also determined. (ProQuest: ... denotes formula omited.).

Sensory information from the ...urinary bladder is conveyed via lumbar splanchnic (LSN) and sacral pelvic (PN) nerves to the spinal cord. In the present report we compared the mechanosensitive properties of single afferent fibers in these two pathways using an in vitro mouse bladder preparation. Mechanosensitive primary afferents were recorded from the LSN or PN and distinguished based on their response to receptive field stimulation with different mechanical stimuli: probing (160 mg to 2 g), stretch (1–25 g), and stroking of the urothelium (10–1,000 mg). Four different classes of afferent were recorded from the LSN and PN: serosal, muscular, muscular/urothielial, and urothelial. The LSN contained principally serosal and muscular afferents (97% of the total sample), whereas all four afferent classes of afferent were present in the PN (63% of which were muscular afferents). In addition, the respective proportions and receptive field distributions differed between the two pathways. Both low- and high-threshold stretch-sensitive muscular afferents were present in both pathways, and muscular afferents in the PN were shown to sensitize after exposure to an inflammatory soup cocktail. The LSN and PN pathways contain different populations of mechanosensitive afferents capable of detecting a range of mechanical stimuli and individually tuned to detect the type, magnitude, and duration of the stimulus. This knowledge broadens our understanding of the potential roles these two pathways play in conveying mechanical information from the bladder to the spinal cord.

Multi-qubit controlled gates are frequently used in quantum information processing. Although they can be built with gates from the universal set of one- and two-qubit gates, this procedure typically ...becomes very demanding as the number of such gates rapidly grows with the size of the computational problem. Thus, finding a way to realize them with fewer steps and therefore with reduced decoherence errors is important. Particularly, quantum information is entering noisy intermediate-scale quantum era and in this era, quantum computers do not have enough resources for full fault tolerance and therefor can only support the computation with a short duration. This makes the reduction of the steps even more important. Here, we propose the realization of multi-qubit controlled nonadiabatic holonomic gates with connecting systems. Our proposal can efficiently reduce the operation steps of the realization, thereby reducing the affection from decoherence and increasing the precision of the computation. So, it is useful to realize efficient and robust quantum information processors.
A search for exotic dark matter (DM) in the sub-GeV mass range has been conducted using 205 kg day data taken from a p-type point contact germanium detector of the CDEX-10 experiment at China's ...Jinping underground laboratory. New low-mass dark matter searching channels, neutral current fermionic DM absorption (χ+A→ν+A) and DM-nucleus 3→2 scattering (χ+χ+A→ϕ+A), have been analyzed with an energy threshold of 160 eVee. No significant signal was found; thus new limits on the DM-nucleon interaction cross section are set for both models at the sub-GeV DM mass region. A cross section limit for the fermionic DM absorption is set to be 2.5×10^{-46} cm^{2} (90% C.L.) at DM mass of 10 MeV/c^{2}. For the DM-nucleus 3→2 scattering scenario, limits are extended to DM mass of 5 and 14 MeV/c^{2} for the massless dark photon and bound DM final state, respectively.

Using ( 1310.6 ± 7.0 ) × 106 J / ψ events acquired with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage rings, the decay η ′ → π+ π−μ+μ− is observed for the first time with a significance of 8 σ via the ...process J / ψ → γ η ′ . We measure the branching fraction of η ′ → π+ π−μ+μ− to be B ( η ′ → π+ π−μ+μ− ) = ( 1.97 ± 0.33 ( stat ) ± 0.19 ( syst ) ) × 10−5, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.
