Objective To observe the effect of clemastine fumarate(CLE) on intestinal ischemia-reperfusion(I/R) injury in Balb/c mouse models and its correlation with the activation of intestinal NOD-like ...receptor protein 3(NLRP3) inflammasomes. Methods Balb/c mice were randomly divided into sham operation group, I/R group (established superior mesenteric artery branch clipping model, ischemia 40 min, reperfusion 2 h) and CLE group (intraperitoneal injection of CLE 5 mg/kg, 1 h before surgery). The pathological changes of intestinal mucosa were evaluated by Chiu's score; The serum levels of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-18 were detected by ELISA; Western blot was used to detect the expressions of NLRP3, caspase-1 and Gasdermin D proteins in intestinal tissue. Results Compared with the sham group, the Chiu's score in the I/R group significantly increased (P＜0.05). The level of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-18 in serum was increased (P＜0.05). One hundred and thirteen patients were randomly assigned to the control group ...(55 cases) and the treatment group (58 cases). Patients in the control group received dietetic therapy and physical exercises, while those in the treatment group additionally took GLT, 19.2 mg each time, three times daily. The treatment course was 12 months for all. The MQ of all the patients was assessed by WMS-RC before treatment,at 6-month of treatment, and 12-month of treatment.
Compared with the control group, the improvement of MQ increased in the treatment group 0.5 and 1 year after treatment (P < 0.05). Environment factors also affect plasma vWF level. Understanding relationship of polymorphisms in promoter, exon and intron with thrombosis diseases contribute to prevent and cure these diseases. In this review, the relationship of SNP in promoter, exon and intron of vWF gene with thrombosis diseases is summarized.
To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of an acute gastroenteritis outbreak in a nursing home caused by norovirus (NoV) and the genotype of the pathogen.
On January 29th 2013, a total of 26 ...acute gastroenteritis patients infected by norovirus were reported in the nursing home of Jinshan, Shanghai. A questionnaire was used to acquire information of patients involved in the outbreak, 9 stool or anal swab samples were collected from 9 patients without treatment by simple random sampling method, and 4 environmental samples from the surface of doorknobs or toilets were collected. The samples were detected by Real-time PCR for NoV, and positive samples were then amplified by routine RT-PCR. The PCR products were purified, sequenced, and aligned by comparing sequences in GenBank. Phylogenetic trees were constructed by using Clustal X, employing MEGA 5.1 program package.

From June 2006 to June 2010, 201 FIXSORB(TM)-MX absorbable plates were used in ...57 patients, including 41 males and 16 females aged from 11 - 81 years. And 185 plates were used in 53 patients of maxillofacial fracture and 16 plates in 4 undergoing orthognathic operations with rigid internal fixation.
All wounds healed primarily and there were no major complications. Forty-five cases were followed up for an average period of 12 months (range: 3 - 36). No obvious adverse effect and absorbable implants rejection were observed. The fracture lines were in the right position in 56 cases.
As a kind of fine material for internal fixation with strong elasticity and strength, absorbable plate shall be widely used clinically.
This study was purposed to investigate the vWF gene A1381T polymorphism in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). A case-control study was designed, including 104 continuously hospitalized ...patients with CHD, aging from 40 to 75 years (average 59) and 96 persons underwent physical examination in outpatient department as controls, aging from 39 to 70 years (average 56). The plasma vWF: Ag level of CHD patients and control persons was detected by ILISA. vWF gene A1381T polymorphism was analyzed by the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism and sequencing when it is necessary. The data were grouped by gender, blood group and/or genotype in CHD group and control groups. The difference of plasma vWF level between male and female was analyzed by independent sample t test; one way ANOVA was used to analyze the difference of vWF level between different blood group genotypes, while the factorial design ANOVA was used to test the difference of vWF level in plasma between A1381T genotype
