The creation of novel materials with high mechanical qualities necessitates the use of advanced machining techniques. Non-conventional machining processes alter the entire manufacturing scenario. ...Non-conventional machining processes swiftly replace conventional machining processes for obtaining better surface quality and a higher material removal rate. Based on grey relational analysis, this work proposes an efficacious method for optimising wire EDM machining parameters of AMCs with varied performance characteristics. Stir casting was used to make AMCs (413/B4Cp) using B4C of 3%, 6% and 9% by weight as reinforcement and 413 as the matrix material. In this study, performance features MRR and SR are taken into account while optimising input parameters. The experimented GRG is 0.772, while the anticipated value is 0.784. This method helped to improve the WEDM process.
Watershed is a geo-hydrological unit draining at a common point by a system of streams. Watershed management is the rational utilization of land and water resources for optimum production with ...minimum hazard to natural resources. Remote sensing (RS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) techniques can be utilized for effective management of land and water resources in a watershed. Even the Government of Andhra Pradesh is implementing watershed development programs on priority basis for sustainable development of land and water resources on holistic approach. The activities of watershed management mainly include rainwater harvesting structures, soil conservation measures and environmental protection measures. The study area was Boothpur Mandal, which is one of the 64 mandals of Mahaboobnagar district. These areas have been identified as chronically drought affected areas in the State because of scanty and erratic rainfall. Collection of source data like satellite data of two seasons, SOI toposheets and village maps were carried out. Secondary data like ground water levels, agriculture, population and socioeconomic data were collected. Various thematic maps like base map, contour map, drainage map, soil map, geomorphology map, slope map and land use/land cover map were prepared by using SOI toposheets and satellite imageries. After analysing all maps, action plan map was generated for the soil and water conservation in the study area.
Attractive nanoparticles have been broadly considered on account of their potential applications as complexity operators in attractive reverberation imaging (MRI) of tumors, cell and DNA partition, ...attractively guided medication conveyance, tumor hyperthermia. Among the attractive oxides, magnetite nanoparticles are most appropriate because of their low danger and great attractive properties which may be used in drug delivery. Magnetite nanoparticles were synthesized using FeCl3 and FeSO4 as precursors and characterized for size and shape using non-contact AFM. The formation of magnetite was confirmed by XRD pattern. The elemental composition of the obtained phase was determined using EDAX. In this work, we are aiming to develop drug loaded biopolymer Magnetite nanoparticles for biomedical application. Our main objective is to synthesize and characterize Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles.

-(Z)-furan-2-ylmethylidene-1,3-benzothiazole-2-carbohydrazone (FMBC) and its Cu (II), Ni (II) and Zn (II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by Mass, FT-IR, NMR, ...elemental analysis, TGA, ESR and SEM-EDX. Based on spectro-analytical data, geometries have been assigned to the metal complexes in which the FMBC acted as bidentate chelate in its mono dissociated form (pKa = 10.56). HyperChem 7.5 software was used for quantum chemical calculations using semi-empirical method. The eigenvalues of frontier orbitals and their corresponding contour maps of HOMO and LUMO for the title compound were computed by means of single point PM3 method. DNA binding of the synthesized complexes with calf thymus DNA was studied by spectrophotometry, fluorescence and viscosity techniques. From the experimental results, it is found that the complexes bind effectively to CT-DNA through an intercalative mode. Molecular docking studies with host DNA moiety inferred corroborative results for binding affinity of the compounds in accordance with experimental data.

Today's industries are looking for materials that are less expensive and have a higher strength-to-weight ratio. Researchers have been driven to produce materials with superior mechanical and ...tribological properties as part of the global quest for sustainable development. In terms of wear resistance, AMCs beat their monolithic counterparts that are not reinforced. Stir casting was used to create Aluminium Matrix Composites made of 356 aluminium alloy with particulate fly ash reinforcements weighing 3 percent, 6 percent, and 9 percent. A pin-on-disc machine was used to conduct the wear test, which followed ASTM Standard G99-05 guidelines. The goal of this study is to explore the effects of sliding speed, load, sliding distance, and reinforcing weight percentage on coefficient of friction and specific wear rate using Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) and ANOVA. By using GRA, the tribological behaviour of composites has been predicted successfully.
