Le tecniche di microinnesti di cuoio capelluto sono direttamente legate alla modalità di prelievo. Il prelievo di una fascia di cuoio capelluto senza rasatura preliminare permette, dopo il ritaglio ...sotto microscopio, di ottenere unità follicolari a capelli lunghi (FUL) o dopo una rasatura preliminare (innesto di unità follicolari). Il foraggio di un cuoio capelluto raso con un punch di circa 0,8 mm permette l’estrazione di unità follicolari (FUE). Le indicazioni sono essenzialmente le alopecie androgenetiche maschili e femminili ma anche le alopecie cicatriziali, le alopecie da trazione degli afroamericani e i diradamenti del pube, della barba, dei baffi, delle sopracciglia e delle ciglia.
