El objetivo de este trabajo es indagar críticamente en la influencia que tienen los dispositivos culturales en la reprogramación de la subjetividad capitalística en su dimensión sensible y la importancia de la cultura pop en la conformación de esta realidad hiper-mediada y g-local. Analizaremos las conexiones entre la psicopolítica digital, la cultura de la celebridad y el régimen live como un conglomerado discursivo, material, económico y epistémico que reprograma nuestra sensibilidad a partir de la fabricación realidades estetizadas, propagadas por las series de televisión transmitidas por internet.

In this article I analyze, with cultural history tools, the ideas of Cuban and Mexican musicologists who examine the keys about African legacy on musical practices and adaptations, of danzón and ...mambo. In these writings we appreciate how each of these genres adjusted to the supply and demand local circumstances of the Mexican urban spectacle sphere. We look on the musical thought history to understand a more complex social phenomena, related to the central concepts of this essay: African legacy, transnational circulation, and cultural adaptation. Life histories of Cuban musicians, Consejo Valiente Roberts "Acerina" and Dámaso Pérez Prado, give us important elements to associate the cultural circulation phenomena to migration.

Waiting for the Barbarians presents an official in charge of managing a border post in an indeterminate desert. His greatest responsibility lies in protecting the Empire from the invasion of the barbarians. In Señales que precederán al fin del mundo, Herrera portrays the initiatory path of the young Mexican Makina who embarks on a nine-stage journey to look for her brother across the border in the United States. In order to carry out her deed, she becomes a messenger of the Mexican mafia who, in exchange for the transport of an indeterminate and suspicious package, helps her cross.

A diferencia de otras formas culturales existentes en el Perú, las pertenecientes a los grupos afrodescendientes no han sido masivamente estudiadas por las ciencias sociales, ni han gozado del ...prestigio merecido. Tal vez tenga esto que ver con la condición de invisibilidad y de subalternidad en la que este nutrido grupo social ha vivido a lo largo del periodo colonial y republicano. Por tal motivo, abordar, desde un punto de vista antropológico algunos de los rasgos de la cultura afroamericana en el Perú supone encontrarse, en primer lugar, con una peculiar forma de entender la alteridad cuyo eje central ha sido la falta de reconocimiento. Y esto, no sólo a nivel institucional, o político, sino también en lo que respecta al patrimonio cultural. Por eso este trabajo analizará, en primer lugar, algunas de las claves que han conformado esta situación de invisibilidad desde la época de la esclavitud colonial hasta la consolidación moderna de los estereotipos raciales. En segundo lugar, expondremos los rasgos destacados de esta peculiar gramática de la identidad siguiendo el modelo analítico propuesto por Baumann, para, a continuación, centrarnos en la obra del autor peruano, máximo exponente de la cultura afroamericana Nicomedes Santa Cruz, como fuente de inspiración en los procesos de etnicidad contemporáneos de la cultura afroamericana en el Perú.
