İcazetnameler İslam kültüründe önemli bir yere sahiptir. Sanat, zanaat ve çeşitli bilim dallarında belirli bir zaman diliminde eğitim aldıktan sonra kişilere verilen bir çeşit diploma, eser üretme ve ...altına imza atma yetkisi, bilgilerini aktarabilme donanımına sahip olduğunun belgesi olarak görülmüştür. Genel olarak Osmanlı İmparatorluğunda ya da diğer İslam ülkelerinde her türlü alandaki eğitimler usta-çırak ilişkisi özelinde yapılmasından dolayı icazetnameler sivil olmaktadır. Özellikle İslam sanatlarında genel olarak hat sanatı ile uğraşan kişilere verildiği yönünde bilgilere ulaşılmıştır. Çok az bilgiye ulaşılabilmiş olsa da 18.yüzyıldanberi tezhip, ebru gibi diğer sanat dallarına da icazetname verildiği belirtilmektedir. Müzelerde ya da özel koleksiyonlarda bulunan icazetnameler tarihi bilgi değeri taşıdığı bilinmektedir. Bir çeşit biyografi değerinde olan bu belgeler ile dönemle ilgili bazı bilgilere ulaşmak mümkün olmaktadır. 19. yüzyılla tarihlenen Antalya Etnografya Müzesi Antalya’nın Kaleiçi semtinde yer almaktadır. Müze Alt ve Üst Konak olmak üzere iki ayrı konsepten oluşmaktadır. 1 no’ lu konakta genel olarak Türk-İslam Eserleri sergilenirken, 2 no’lu konakta ise Antalya’nın Osmanlı Dönemi ev yaşamı yansıtılmıştır. 1nolu konağın ikinci katında hilye ve icazetname gibi hat sanatı örnekleri sergilenmektedir.17. ve 19. yüzyıla ait olan icazetname örneklerinin tezhip sanatı açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada dört adet icazetnamenin üslup özellikleri, desen ve motifleri incelenmiştir.
Kurkut mosque is one of the important historical buildings in Antalya Old Town, Kaleiçi. It represents a special landmark for its cultural and architectural identity. In 1896, a great fire destroyed ...the mosque, including the wooden 'külah' (spire) of its minaret. However, the lower parts of the minaret remained intact. Afterward, the mosque was called the 'Kesik Minare' Camii' (Cut Minaret Mosque). The Cut Minaret special form remained the identity of the old town for many decades. In 2017, a restoration project started to be prepared for the mosque and its minaret. Visual Impact Assessment is crucial in this regard in addition to Public Preference Analysis. This is to understand the restoration projects on public acceptance. This research used Aesthetic Impact Assessment (AIA) to assess public appreciation of the aesthetic quality of the newly restored minaret of the Cut Minaret Mosque. To achieve this goal, a set of aesthetic principles was developed. The aim was to provide insights into the cultural values of architectural conservation, restoration, and their role in shaping the identity of a continuously changing society. It has been found that the aesthetics of the minaret after restoration got around average public appreciation. It directs the attention of culture, religious authorities, and community organizations to give greater consideration to public involvement and participation in such projects.
Arkeoloji, Fransız devriminden sonra ortaya çıkmış bir bilgi biçimi olarak, antik dünyayı en temelde, mimari kalıntılar, ikonografi, nümizmatik, semiyografi, paleografi ve sosyal-fiziksel antropoloji ...aracılığıyla anlamaya ve anlamlandırmaya çalışır. Defineciler ise arkeolojik kalıntılarla, Süleyman’ın hazinesi ve Belkıs kıssasındakine benzer arketipik hikayeler, kalıntılardaki iz-işaretleri hazinenin kriptosu olarak gören ve bu kriptoyu çözebilecek okült bilginin Türk-İslam formu olan kenz-ül havas ‘ilmi’ne hakim cinci-muskacı-tılsımcı taifesi ve eşkıya söylenceleri aracılığı ile ilişkilenir . Arkeoloji biliminin bilgi üretme biçimi ile definecilerin bilgi üretme biçimi arasındaki gerilim, bu çalışmanın sahasının yapıldığı Elmalı bölgesinde de gözlemlenir. Bu iki bilgi biçimi arasındaki gerilim, özellikle definecilik ve definecilik etrafında dönen okült faaliyetlerle uğraşanların dünyayı anlamlandırma biçimi bizi çalışmanın temel problematiği olan bu senkretik katmanlar nasıl inşa edilir sorusuna götürür. İnşa edilmiş bu katmanların hangi amaçlara hizmet ettiği, işlevlerinin neler olduğu, nasıl işlediği diğer problematikler.
Bu çalışmada, tarihsel ve sosyal bir takım süreçlerin sonucunda inşa edilen senkretik katmanların aslında bir tür defineci okültizmi olduğu, bu okültizmin yalnızca tarihsel, dini ve yerel folklorik kaynaklar aracılığı ile değil, sosyal medya aracılığıyla daha katmanlı bir şekilde inşa edildiği anlatılmaya çalışılıyor. Ayrıca, bu okült bilginin definecilik faaliyetleri içerisinde çok merkezi gibi görünse de aslında, bir tür tamamlayıcı bilgi olduğu ve define bulmaktan ziyade, definecilik faaliyetlerinin sürdürülebilir kılmaya yarayan bir moral kod olduğu anlatılmaya çalışılıyor. Elmalı bölgesindeki okültizmin yerel folklorik, tarihsel kaynakları olduğu kadar sosyal medya üzerinden genel ve daha yoğun bir dolaşımı da var. Bu makalenin ele aldığı konulardan birisi de, sosyal medya üzerinden yapılan bu yayınların, okült bilgiyi daha ezoterik hale getirdiği ve bu ezoterikleşmenin aslında define piyasasında dolaşımda olan hem maddi değeri hem de epistemoloji katmanını kontrol altında tutmaya dönük olduğu olacak.
Archaeology, as a form of knowledge that emerged after the French Revolution, seeks to understand and make sense of the ancient world primarily through architectural remains, iconography, numismatics, semiography, paleography and social-physical anthropology. Treasure hunters, on the other hand, relate to archaeological remains through archetypal stories such as the story of Solomon's treasure and the parable of Belkis, the amulet makers’, talismanists’ narrations and bandit legends who see the trace-signs in the ruins as the cryptos of the treasure and who have mastered the 'science' of kenz-ul havas, the Turkish-Islamic form of occult knowledge that can decipher this cryptos. The tension between the knowledge production of archaeology and the knowledge production of treasure hunters is also observed in the Elmalı region, where the field of this study is located. The tension between these two forms of knowledge, especially the way in which treasure diggers and those engaged in occult activities revolving around treasure digging make sense of the world, leads us to the question of how these syncretic layers are constructed, which is the main problematic of the study. What purposes these constructed layers serve, what their functions are, and how they function are other problematics.
This study tries to explain that the syncretic layers constructed as a result of a number of historical and social processes are actually a kind of treasure hunter occultism, and that this occultism is constructed not only through historical, religious and local folkloric sources, but also through social media in a more layered way. In addition, it is tried to be explained that although this occult knowledge seems to be very central to treasure hunting activities, it is actually a kind of complementary knowledge and that it is a moral code that helps to sustain treasure hunting activities rather than finding treasure. Occultism in the Elmalı region has local folkloric and historical sources as well as a general and more intense circulation through social media. One of the issues addressed in this article will be that these publications on social media make occult knowledge more esoteric and that this esotericization is actually aimed at controlling both the material value and the layer of epistemology circulating in the treasure market.
This paper focuses on the relation between two significant geomorphic features of the western Taurides: the Antalya Tufa Plateau and the structural Kestel polje system; revealing morphotectonic ...records of the formation and evolution of karst hydrology between the two features. Data were obtained by detailed mapping of faults, rocks, and geomorphic features. The evolutionary history of the area begins with a nearly E-W-trending drainage system which flowed on the erosional surfaces formed during late Langhian-early Messinian under the compressional tectonic regime. The running waters comprising the major drainage system incised the valleys during the Messinian Salinity Crisis and partly in the Pliocene by over 200 m depth across the study area. From the beginning of the Quaternary, a tensional tectonic regime became prominent and a series of graben-horst structures were formed. The Kestel polje system, consisting of five sub-poljes, developed within the graben structures which emerged in the upper basin of rivers during this period, and the middle part of the river valleys were transformed into hanging valleys on the horsts. Thus, drainage of the Kestel polje system and horsts (mountainous area) that bordered the polje to the east was enabled through underground karst conduits. Consequently, CaCO3 precipitating from waters coming out of the rich karst springs that fed the polje system and aquifers to the east formed the Antalya Tufa Plateau.

The aim of this study is to determine the factors that prevent the development of medical tourism in Antalya. To explore the current medical tourism trend, a qualitative procedure was adopted. ...Besides analyzing the current situation of medical tourism in Antalya through a systematic searching on the available information and publications, in-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from relevant authorities and representatives of medical tourism associations in this country. The data were derived from interviews with 42 key informants. Data analysis of the study was conducted through employing the software NVivo-11. Data gathered at the end of the study were grouped into 8 main themes and 40 sub-themes. The results show that insurances, language and communication, management, policies and rules, prices and treatments, structural, transfer and terminology problems are the main barriers to the development of medical tourism. Several strategies are required in order to address and combat these barriers, such as governmental support, ethical practices, pricing and enhance personnel linguistic competence on an international scale. In this context, the study is expected to contribute to national and regional planning on medical tourism.
Tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de trafik kazaları, sebep olduğu maddi ve manevi kayıplar nedeniyle sürekli olarak gündemdeki yerini korumaktadır. İnsan, yol, araç ve çevre koşulları gibi ...etkenlerden bir veya birkaç etkenin bir araya gelmesiyle, telafi edilebilen maddi kazalar veya telafisi mümkün olmayan ölümlü kazalar meydana gelebilmektedir. Trafik kazalarının sayısını ve etkilerini en aza indirebilmek için ülkeler bu konularda çeşitli stratejiler ve uygulamalar geliştirmektedir. Genel olarak trafik kazalarını azaltabilmek, kazaya sebep olan etkenlerin tespit edilip ortadan kaldırılmasıyla mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada 2012 ile 2016 yılları arasında Antalya ili ve ilçelerinde yaşanmış, ölümlü, yaralanmalı ve maddi hasarlı olmak üzere toplam 30.232 adet trafik kazasına ait veriler incelenmiştir. Yöntem olarak kategorik değişkenlerin etkileşimlerine ait hipotez testlerinin yapıldığı loglineer modelleme ve uyum analizi kullanılmış, sonuçta değişkenlerin ikili ya da üçlü etkileşimlerinin kaza oluşumu üzerindeki etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, Antalya ilinde, trafik güvenliğinin sağlanması için, kazaya etken olan değişkenlerin etkileşimlerinin önemini ortaya koyarak, önleyici tedbirlerin alınmasını sağlamaktır. Bu şekilde kazaların en aza indirgendiği, sürdürülebilir bir ulaştırma faaliyetleri sağlanmış olacaktır.
Sivil toplum kuruluşları (STK), kar amacı gütmeden, gönüllülük esasına bağlı olarak, toplumun yararına eylemler yapmak üzere oluşan sivil topluluklardır. Turizmin farklı açılardan gelişimine yönelik ...olarak kurulmuş olan pek çok STK bulunmaktadır. Turizm bir ekosistem olarak kabul edildiğinde, turizmin farklı paydaşlarının da tanıtım ve pazarlama faaliyetlerine destek vermelerinin önemi her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, STK’nın destinasyon pazarlamasındaki rollerini ve turizmin gelişimine katkılarını tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Antalya Muratpaşa ilçesinde faaliyet gösteren STK başkanlarıyla derinlemesine yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulguların değerlendirilmesinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda bir destinasyon olarak Antalya’nın gerek ulusal gerekse uluslararası düzeyde tanıtım ve pazarlanmasında STK’ların yaptığı faaliyetlerin önemli etkisi olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Diğer önemli bir bulgu da, STK’ların kendi bireysel çabaları ile ilin tanıtımını gerçekleştiriyor olmasının turizmin arzu edilen seviyeye taşınmasında yetersiz kaldığıdır. Buradan hareketle destinasyonların tanıtım ve pazarlanmasında STK’lar ile işbirliğinin arttırılarak bölgesel kalkınmada daha başarılı olunabileceği söylenebilir.
Non -governmental Organizations (NGO) are non-profit, voluntary, civil communities which are formed to take actions for the sake of the society. There are many NGOs established to support tourism from different aspects. The importance of accepting tourism as an ecosystem and supporting the promotion and marketing activities of different stakeholders in tourism is increasing day by day. The aim of this research is to find out the roles of civil society services in destination marketing and their contribution to tourism. In order to realize this aim, semi-structured interviews were carried out with the presidents of the non-governmental organizations operating in Antalya Muratpaşa district. Theme analysis was used in the evaluation of the obtained data. As a result of the research, it has been understood that the NGOs have a significant impact on their activities in the promotion and marketing of Antalya as a destination, both at the national and international level. Another important finding is that NGOs promote the province with their own individual efforts, which would be insufficient to bring tourism to the desired level. From this point of view, cooperation with NGOs in the promotion and marketing of destinations can be more successful in regional tourism development.
Located on one of the important axes of access to the marina from Kaleiçi in Antalya, Kırkmerdiven is frequently used by both local and foreign tourists as well as those living in the region. This ...stone staircase, which was built by the Venetians in the 11th century to provide transportation between the city center and the marina and contrary to its name actually has forty-four steps, is an important cultural heritage of Antalya. However, it causes many people to be seriously injured due to the slippery steps and not being maintained and repaired in a way to ensure adequate security measures. For this reason, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality develops proposal projects for the improvement of Kırkmerdiven. The other issue is that the niches in the lower part of the stairs are neglected. In this study, it is proposed to transform the niches under Kırkmerdiven and the terrace in front of it into a terrace garden to make this historical and touristic place more attractive.
The commercial trawler named “İdris Reis” caught a fish species that they had never seen or known before while catching shrimp in deep waters at the 36°25'04" N 30°37'17" E coordinates Gulf of ...Antalya on 04.04.2022. The species of fish caught was identified as Zu cristatus (Bonelli, 1819). With this study, one more species was added to the Gulf of Antalya fish fauna.
