Considering the multibody method for the dynamic analysis of mechanical systems, this paper aims at constructing a simple computer model describing the dynamics of a fixed-wing aircraft performing a ...longitudinal motion. To this end, a simplified model of an aerial vehicle was analyzed without control surfaces, featuring an axial thrust, and having limited aerodynamic actions. By using the Digital DATCOM software, the modeling of the aerodynamic coefficients was then taken into account considering also the elevator as a control surface. First, aircraft dynamics was studied in general in the context of multibody dynamics. Then, the case study considered as the illustrative example of the paper was analyzed, namely the Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft. By modeling the externally applied actions and the aerodynamic coefficients, the fundamental mechanics behind the take-off phase of the flight was subsequently analyzed. In the paper, the equations of motion describing the dynamic behavior of the illustrative example were driven using a Lagrangian formulation approach. The dynamic model of the demonstrative example was then implemented in a computer code constructed in the MATLAB environment. By doing so, the goal of this process was to develop as accurately as possible a virtual model of the Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft. As shown in the paper using numerical simulations, the computer model of the case study analyzed in this work is able of simulating the vertical motion of the aircraft. In the conclusive part of the manuscript, a discussion about the dynamic behavior of the aircraft found in this investigation and some comments on several topics for future research are reported as well.
Radar research using transmitters of opportunity (commensal radar (CR)) has experienced a resurgence in popularity, focused mainly on target detection and less so on target classification. This ...reported work has demonstrated that CR can be used to estimate the rotation rate of an aircraft propeller accurately over a wide range of frontal aspect angles. The propeller induces polarisation modulation, which results in amplitude modulation of the signal received by the passive radar receiver. This effect is derived mathematically and verified with a detailed electromagnetic simulation of the aircraft's propeller. Lastly, these findings were validated with field measurements of a Cessna 172 aircraft.
172 basic Cessna plane in the process of operation, the production of equipment failure is random, so the evaluation of equipment performance and to predict its failure time to improve the safe ...operation of the 172 basic plane has important application value. On the plane this complex system, the grey theory combined with 172 basic Cessna plane, the collection of 172 basic aircraft fault information centralized data processing, analysis, prediction model GM (1, 1), through the calculation of the GM model data, and the error precision fitting test, better realize the basic 172 aircraft equipment failure time prediction.
This study aims to evaluate the impact of flight simulator training on enhancing situational awareness skills among aviation vocational education cadets. Situational awareness is crucial for pilots ...and aviation professionals to effectively respond to dynamic and challenging situations. Twenty cadets participated in this experiment, operating individually under the guidance of a flight instructor. The simulations were conducted at the Indonesia Civil Pilot Academy Banyuwangi simulation laboratory, configured as the ALSIM 172 Simulator. The testing scenario was designed to train cadets in handling challenging weather situations and improving their situational awareness while flying the Cessna 172 SP aircraft. The research data analysis utilized a quantitative approach and qualitative feedback from the cadets. The results of the study demonstrate that flight simulator training significantly enhances cadets' situational awareness skills, as evident from the increased scores and positive feedback regarding their improved understanding of changing situations. These findings underscore the importance of integrating simulator training into aviation vocational education programs to enhance situational awareness and ensure the safety and success of aviation operations.

This paper presents a technique of landing control, roll control, pitch control and altitude hold control of an airplane using neural networks. Firstly the neural network is trained from available ...flight data and then that trained neural network controls the landing, roll, pitch and altitude hold of the airplane. The neural network control has been implemented in MATLAB and the data for training have been taken from Flight Gear Simulator. The neural network control has been simulated for commercial airplane i.e. Cessna 172 using the Flight Gear Simulator. The trained neural network control detects variations from the Flight Gear Simulator and supplies back the corrective signals to aileron, elevator, throttle, and rudder. The flight performance has been shown in the Flight Gear Simulator. The objective is to improve the performance of conventional landing, roll, pitch and altitude hold controllers. Simulated results show that control for different flight phases is successful and the neural network controllers provide the robustness to system parameter variation.
A preliminary National Transportation Safety Board report on the incident released yesterday indicates Bryan K. Sherman, 33, a passenger in the Cessna 172 airplane that crashed in an area just off ...the Prescott peninsula in New Salem, told investigators pilot Perry D. Safran, 45, was maneuvering the airplane over the reservoir for pleasure when he decided to descend for a closer look at the water. "During the descent, the passenger observed the altimeter indicated 500 feet, then 200 feet. The passenger then questioned the pilot if he would stop the descent; however, the pilot continued the descent and the airplane impacted the water," according to the report. VICTIMS WERE NEIGHBORS

Wedel, w kategorii ..."Kolekcjoner". Firma „E. Wedel” jest najstarszą w Polsce marką czekolady. W 1851 r. Karol Wedel założył cukiernię w Warszawie przy ul. Miodowej. W ofercie miała ona m.in. czekoladę do picia. E. Wedel.” Obecnie właścicielem marki Wedel jest japoński koncern wielobranżowy Lotte Group. Opakowanie należy do kolekcji pana Romana Buchały.
