Christians today do not accurately reflect the character of God, whom they are told is living, a light in the darkness, and a well-spring of eternal love. People are confused and disturbed about ...Bible passages, historical events, and personal experiences that seem to belie these very traits. These questions were explored with several experienced pastors during a year of upheaval and confusion. Understanding the true character of God is important in serving God and demonstrating God’s grace to everyone. God gives life, provides light through dark times, cherishes each individual with steadfast love that endures forever. A loving relationship with God provides the abundant life Christ promises, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this relationship and understanding leads to sound decisions and actions based on faith.
Poised between the moment of his total disintegration and the beginning of his translation into a movie of Ray Charles, the " old man" of the final section "allowed the spectators a vision of All ...Chances at Once" (253): " At that point where he was most absent, that's when the gasps started, because the future streams through that point, going both ways" (253). Because the future-simultaneously apocalyptic and redemptive of the failures of the past8 (hence it is going "both ways")-manifests itself precisely at the point where the ego, the individuality, the person is most diminished, Cohen reveals history and personhood to be mutually dependent systems geared toward the repression of possibility. ...we have Bottom's transformation into an ass in A Midsummer Night's Dream, followed by Quince's exclamation "thou art translated" 3.1.105.) ...she enters a world of translation and metamorphosis, where reality takes on the structure of dreams and madness, states dominated by the logic of metaphorical substitution. Experience, therefore, should not be understood as merely subjective or as the property of an individual. ...Laing's second argument concerns the location or site of experience: "Experience is not 'subjective' rather than 'objective,' not 'inner' rather than 'outer,' not 'process' rather than 'praxis,' not 'input' rather than 'output,' not 'psychic' rather than 'somatic,' not some doubtful data dredged up from introspection rather than extrospection.

Yes, but abstract investigations are no less productive. Should we live on Mars? Absurd questions inspire absurd responses. Architects don’t make buildings, we envision the future and find ways to ...bring others along. Satire brings criticism, but can also open wormholes to new design thinking. Imaginative practice is practice for imagination. Stay sharp, the future is coming. This thesis engages in a new methodology to create collaborative, imaginative work around the idea of settlement on Mars. By parodying and restructuring the design process, using poetry as a tool and science fiction as an identity, this work intends to inject different perspectives into this exciting opportunity as it approaches reality, maintaining that design is improved when vision is replaced by conversation.
