Abstract
The goal of Industry 4.0 is to maximize efficiency and reduce human efforts. Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Mobile Technologies and many other technological advances ...generate Industry 4.0. Humanoid robots resemble humans and their primary goal is to perform any task programmed by the user. Our goal is to create a portable and safer system that can be used in any dynamic environment to control the robot and avoid any sort of complexity. With the rapid technological advances, there is no need to worry about unemployment since it requires a technical expert in the field to control the robot. This paper discusses how this control system processes gesture data along with a brief discussion of certain useful applications.
Industry 4.0 was born in the 2010 decade under the automotive sector, in what would be known as smart manufacturing, the fourth industrial revolution, and the industry digital transformation through ...the data acquisition in industrial processes. It was a change in the goods production methods and generated a new social-economic dynamics. For this reason, the objective of this research is the “Simulation in the temperature parameters control in the yogurt manufacturing process” by using the National Instruments’ LabView v20 software, which allows the control of temperature parameters in fermentation tanks for yogurt manufacture. The yogurt manufacture comprises operations such as pasteurization (80 to 85 °C), followed by cooling (45 °C) of milk, and bacterial fermentation of milk, which provides the texture and flavor that characterize yogurt. To achieve this, a controlled temperature is required between 42 and 45 °C, being 43 °C the optimal temperature (set point). After the fermentation, the yogurt is cooled to a temperature of 5-10 °C for storage. It was necessary to place the thermometer, graph indicator, LED diodes, speed adjustment dial, and stop button in the front panel; on the other hand, VI, random number, multiplier factor, scan rate timer, and the Constant Indicator were placed in the block diagram. The diodes for every temperature parameter in the manufacturing process were enabled (on-off). As a result, by means of the LabView software, the temperature parameters’ control could be simulated in the yogurt manufacturing stages, namely, pasteurization, cooling to 45 °C, fermentation, and yogurt cooling. With this simulation, graphs and numeric data on the yogurt manufacture could be obtained.

DC Motors are widely used in industries because they provide better quality with high torque and low volume. A individual PID Controller and A Fuzzy Based PID Controller is proposed to design in this ...paper. By a comparison between both the Controllers an overview of performance of both the Controllers is provided. By the literature review it is found that many of the researchers used fuzzy controller with some algorithms to tune the parameters of the PID Controller so here for the tuning of the PID parameters Fuzzy Controller itself used. In Conventional PID Controller there is a difficulty to control the value of the parameters and get good suitable characteristic. In the Fuzzy-Controller to satisfy the control characteristics of the parameters there is special ability and that is to provide an easy computing, to control for Motor. By comparing the responses for both the controllers, Fuzzy based PID Controller presents better performance than PID Controller. To Model the DC Motor and for the simulation purpose LabVIEW software has been used.
Cardiovascular diseases increase due to factors such as obesity, an inadequate diet, and are a problem due to shortages of medical personnel and hospitals. In this case, the implementation of ...technological solutions is presented as a necessity to prevent heart diseases. Various approaches are used to design low-cost electrocardiogram (ECG) devices, from the use of Bluetooth technology to facilitate data transmission, to the development of wearable ECG devices that use artificial intelligence. The objective is to develop a monitoring system in LabVIEW to visualize the heart rhythms of older adults in the city of Lima (Peru), focusing on ease of use and adaptation to their needs, with the purpose of collaboration between health professionals. A development approach is used that encompasses design, implementation, and iterative testing, as well as practical evaluations and pilot testing. As a result, the correct functioning of the ECG device was validated. Electronic components and electrodes were integrated into the board to capture cardiac signals, energized with batteries and sending the information to an interface in LabVIEW. In conclusion, a portable ECG device has been developed that uses operational amplifiers (Op-amps) and analog filters to reduce noise in cardiac measurements and an intuitive interface in LabVIEW
This article presents a remote monitoring and control system for an AC motor using a mobile device. A tool for registering and visualizing motor speed is developed through LabVIEW which is easy to ...access and understand. Its design is detailed using a block diagram, on which the implemented hardware devices are described. The programming stages of both the server and the mobile are also described. Motor control is performed by comparing the revolutions per minute (RPM) delivered by the motor and those desired by the remote operator. As a result, the data shows efficient tracking at the reference speed with low error.
•A multi-sensor system for high throughput field phenotyping was developed.•The system measured canopy height, temperature, NDVI, reflectance, and RGB image.•The sensor system was successfully tested ...in soybean and wheat field trials.•In-season sensor traits revealed the growth pattern of plots during the season.•Final yield is significantly correlated with the sensor traits at early and late season.
Collecting plant phenotypic data with sufficient resolution (in both space and time) and accuracy represents a long standing challenge in plant science research, and has been a major limiting factor for the effective use of genomic data for crop improvement. This is particularly true in plant breeding where collecting large-scale field-based plant phenotypes can be very labor intensive and costly. In this paper we reported a multi-sensor system for high throughput phenotyping in plant breeding. The system comprised five sensor modules (ultrasonic distance sensors, thermal infrared radiometers, NDVI sensors, portable spectrometers, and RGB web cameras) to measure crop canopy traits from field plots. A GPS was used to geo-reference the sensor measurements. Two environmental sensors (a solar radiation sensor and air temperature/relative humidity sensor) were also integrated into the system to collect simultaneous environmental data. A LabVIEW program was developed to control and synchronize measurements from all sensor modules and stored sensor readings in the host computer. Canopy reflectance spectra (by portable spectrometers) were post processed to extract NDVI and red-edge NDVI spectral indices; and RGB images were post processed to extract canopy green pixel fraction (as a proxy for biomass). The sensor system was tested in a soybean and wheat field trial. The results showed strong correlations among the sensor-based plant traits at both early and late growing season. Significant correlations were also found between the sensor-based traits and final grain yield at the early season (Pearson’s correlation coefficient r ranged from 0.41 to 0.55) and late season (r from 0.55 to 0.70), suggesting the potential use of the sensor system to assist in phenotypic selection for plant breeding. The sensor system performed satisfactorily and robustly in the field tests. It was concluded that the sensor system could be a powerful tool for plant breeders to collect field-based, high throughput plant phenotyping data.
