Uvod: Piktogrami so slikovno komunikacijsko orodje, ki izboljšuje komunikacijo med izvajalci zdravstvenih in socialnih storitev ter starejšimi. Raziskava je zasledovala tri cilje: (i) identificirati ...priporočila za izdelavo piktogramov, primernih za starejše v socialnovarstvenih zavodih; (ii) na podlagi identificiranih priporočil razviti piktograme; (iii) ovrednotiti njihovo uporabnost.
Metode: Raziskava je temeljila na kombiniranem pristopu in so jo sestavljali trije deli: (i) analiza znanstvene in strokovne literature ter izvedba intervjujev s štirimi medicinskimi sestrami v socialnovarstvenih zavodih za identifikacijo priporočil za izdelavo piktogramov; (ii) izdelava piktogramov; (iii) evalvacija piktogramov s kvazieksperimentom. Za statistično obdelavo podatkov je uporabljena univariatna analiza (izračun frekvenc in relativnih frekvenc).
Rezultati: Identificirana priporočila za izdelavo piktogramov se nanašajo na njihovo splošno zasnovo, uporabo barv in oblik ter lokacijo. Intervjuji so natančneje opredelili priporočljivo lokacijo piktogramov ter konkretne potrebe po njihovi sporočilnosti: »nevarnost opeklin«, »higiena rok«, »nevarnost padca«, »nevarnost udarca vrat«, »jedilnica«, »delovna terapija«. Evalvacija izdelanih piktogramov s tridesetimi starejšimi iz socialnovarstvenega zavoda je pokazala ustrezno razumljivost, tri vodje služb za zdravstveno nego in oskrbo pa so potrdile njihovo uporabnost.
Diskusija in zaključek: Identificirana priporočila predstavljajo dobro osnovo za nadaljnjo izdelavo piktogramov za starejše iz socialnovarstvenih zavodov. Pogostejša uporaba piktogramov v socialnovarstvenih zavodih bi izboljšala komunikacijo s starejšimi in nudila ustrezno pomoč pri zagotavljanju njihove varnosti in ustrezne orientacije.
Le malo arheologov je v drugi polovici dvajsetega stoletja tako vplivalo na razvoj metodologije arheološkega dela ter interpretacije prazgodovine kot François Bordes. Na eni strani je sicer pomembna ...njegova raziskovalna usmeritev v izboljšanje terenskih tehnik raziskav, predvsem pa je revolucionarna njegova standardizacija tipoloških opisov kamnitih orodij oziroma razvoj statističnih metod za primerjavo rezultatov analiz iz posameznih kontekstov. Prav na osnovi njegovega dela razumemo, da je potrebno opazovati dva vidika variabilnosti arheoloških zapisov – formalno tipološko variabilnost kamnitih orodij znotraj konteksta ter variabilnost v relativnih pogostnostih tipih orodij med različnimi plastmi oziroma najdišči. Danes, ko so številne njegove interpretacije zastarele oziroma neustrezne, se moramo zavedati kontekstov, v katerih so nastale, ter raziskovalnih vprašanj, na katera so pomagale odgovoriti.
Za uspešno pridobivanje teoretičnega znanja in globlje razumevanje zgradbe in delovanja bioloških struktur ter pojavov je teoretični pouk bioloških predmetov na vseh stopnjah izobraževanja podprt s ...praktičnimi vajami. Na visokošolski stopnji so praktične vaje pri posameznih predmetih celo bolj ali manj enakovreden del predavanjem. Na študenta osredinjeni pristopi učenja in poučevanja, podprti z orodji informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije (IKT), lahko pripomorejo k učinkovitejšemu razvoju znanja, izjemnega pomena pa so lahko tudi z vidika pridobivanja digitalnih kompetenc pri študentih. Na Fakulteti za matematiko, naravoslovje in informacijske tehnologije Univerze na Primorskem (UP FAMNIT) smo izvedli anketno raziskavo, v kateri smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšne metode poučevanja uporabljajo izvajalci praktičnega pouka bioloških predmetov. Rezultati so pokazali, da le slaba polovica anketiranih izvajalcev v praktični pouk vključuje inovativne metode učenja in poučevanja. Med orodji IKT, po katerih smo spraševali v anketi, več kot 80 % vprašanih pozna in uporablja prosto dostopno virtualno učno okolje Moodle. Mnogi poznajo tudi druge spletne aplikacije, vendar jih ne vključujejo v pedagoški proces. Večina vprašanih je naklonjena uporabi orodij IKT, a jih največkrat ne uporabljajo zaradi stiske s časom ali zaradi njihovega slabega poznavanja.
In this present work friction stir welding of Al6061-annealed pure copper dissimilar metals with square wave pattern tool pin movementwas investigated. The aim of this experiment is to identify the ...significance square wave tool movement on friction stir welding process along with three different tool pin profiles. Different tool pin profiles of square, round and hexaspiral shapes were selected and their significant outcomes were unveiled. Friction stir welding process parameters of 1500 and 2000rpm & tool pin movement step size of 1.0mm and 2.0mm & weaving rate of 100mm/min and 150mm/min were selected. The advantages of tool movement pattern and tool pin profile shape wereexamined by mechanical testing, microstructure analysis. The mechanical results were showed that process parameter of 1500 rpm, 1.0mm step size, weldingrate of 150mm/min and square tool pin profile combination gives better mechanical properties. Micro structural results unveiled achievement of better grain refinement and uniform dispersion of micro constituents by implementation of square wave tool pin movement pattern along with square tool pin profile.The EDAX report confirms that the weld nugget contains both aluminum and copper as equal percentage, which indicates fine mixing of two parent metals.
Background: The purpose of the research was to determine the prevalence and location of diastasis recti abdominis muscle (DRA) during pregnancy and puerperium in women in the Ljubljana maternity ...hospital. Methods: The study sample included sixty randomly selected women; forty-five pregnant and postpartum women were recruited from the Ljubljana Maternity Hospital, and fifteen non-pregnant women from the larger Ljubljana area as a control group. All women were examined for the presence or absence of diastasis recti abdominis muscle along with the most and least likely location along the white lines. The measurements were performed by the finger-width method. Results: The findings indicate that the diastasis recti abdominis muscle increases with the progression of pregnancy. In the case of non-pregnant women, the diastasis is not present. The presence of DRA was first observed in the second trimester of pregnancy (9.5 %) and was most common in the third trimester (52.4 %). After birth, the incidence decreased (38.1 %). The majority of diastasis recti abdominis cases were observed in the umbilical area (52.6 %) in the third trimester. In the puerperium group three days after childbirth the diastasis below the umbilicus was most common (60.0 %) and slightly less common above the umbilicus (53.8 %). Conclusion: Diastasis recti abdominis muscle during pregnancy and after childbirth is a common condition. It is therefore recommended that all women should be timely examined for the presence of DRA before and after birth along the linea alba to start timely and adequate physiotherapy treatment. Health professionals as well as sports teachers and coaches who work with pregnant and puerperium women should be educated/trained in the field of testing and treatment of diastasis recti abdominis muscle.

Scenarios are frequently used as a tool in spatial and landscape planning as they enable clear and convincing representations of planned or possible future development. Scenarios are useful because ...they enhance public participation and the exchange of information on space and processes. Their use for a particular purpose in the planning procedure depends on the type of scenario, of which there are several. This paper presents the two most commonly used typologies in detail and also presents those of some prominent representatives of futurology. The paper concludes with examples of scenario use in applicative and research studies, both foreign and local, in the fields of spatial planning and environmental protection, outlining the various methodological approaches to the design and use of scenarios. The discussion is focused on the use of appropriate types of scenarios for different tasks and draws attention to certain shortcomings and pitfalls of scenario use.
