To se prvenstveno odnosi na poduzetnika koji je »spiritus movens« inovacijama a time i napretka poduzeća, a u našim uvjetima na poslovoditelja čija je funkcija u poduzeću jednaka današnjem u nas proskibiranom menadžeru. U Schumpeter ovim spomenutim teorijama autor vidi teoretske izvore i marketinga koje su osuvremenili i produbili dva Austrijanca, danas Američana, I. Drucker i Ph. Kotler. Prvi, kao danas prvi teoretičar općeg managementa, a drugi marketing i marketing managementa. U svom radu na kraju autor pokazuje i neke trendove razvoja današnjeg managementa.
