Natural CO 2 springs and groundwater rich in free gas in Slovenia occur mainly in the Slovenske gorice hills. Within the frame of fildwork performed in 2014–2015 we investigated 11 springs: Ihovska ...slatina, Ivanjševska slatina, Lokavska slatina, Polička slatina, Radvenska slatina, Mofette Rihtarovci, mofettes Stavešinske Slepice, and Strmec, Ujterska slatina, Verjanska slatina and Žekš. The diameter of fie uncaptured springs can exceed 4 m, with depression depths of 2 m, but most are smaller. We elaborated bathymetric 3D models of these spring areas, marked degassing locations in a plan view, and evaluated the gas flx according to a subjective, visual fie-level scale. We also measured physicochemical parameters of the water. The observed phenomena were classifid among mofettes and mineral waters. Two are wet mofettes (Polička slatina and Slepice) and three dry mofettes (Rihtarovci, Strmec, mofette at Lokavska slatina). These constantly emit cold CO2, hold acid surface or meteoric water, and bare soil or changed vegetation may also be present. Mineral water consisting of more than 1 g/l of total dissolved solids surfaces at Ihovska, Ivanjševska and Radvenska slatina, and Žekš. It is rich in free CO 2, having a flx intensity of 2–4. Verjanska slatina and Ujterska slatina are neither mofettes nor mineral waters. The fist, like most others, may be a slatina, having more than 250 mg/l of free CO2 (CO2)g. We found no connection between the depth of the springs and the intensity of gas emissions.

V Jugoslaviji deluje 112 statusno urejenih arhivov in 70.000 osnovnih registratur. Problemi s katerimi se soočajo so si v marsičem povsem vsak sam k sebi, a je nekaj gotovo: družba ki pozablja na svojo preteklost, tudi svoje prihodnosti ni vredna.
As we live, parts of present become history the next minute. In that sense archives of all types are making historical news. With such and similar starting-points have archival professionals from all over Yugoslavia tackled some of the dilemmas that accompany their work, whether it is editing status issues, the treatment of administrative and regulatory uncertainties, the problems of archival material, means of information, the working organizations, and others. Ob izvolitvi miss Slovenije in Radenskih src je bila v soboto v Slatini Radenci ena osrednjih zabavno-glasbenih in turističnih prireditev, ki jih vsako leto pripravimo v Sloveniji. Organizatorji, med njimi zdravilišče Slatina Radenci in Ljubljanski dnevnik, so obiskovalcem pripravili prijeten večer. V skoraj 3 ure dolgem programu so se več 5 tisoč obiskovalcem poleg 18-tih deklet predstavili z odlično izbranim programom znani pevci Alenka Pintarič, Boba Stefanović, Senka Veletanič in Zafir Hadžimanov, Nada Kneževič in Arsen Dedič. Ob spremljavi orkestra Saše Subote pa so prireditelji obiskovalcem predstavili tudi krajšo modno revijo in jih tako seznanili s prihajajočo jesensko-zimsko modo. Strokovna žirija je ob koncu prireditve za najlepše dekle Slovenije izbrala 20- letno Alenko Capuder iz Ljubljane, za njeno spremljevalko pa sta bili izbrani Olga Pavlin iz Kranja in Alenka Marter iz Ljubljane. Obiskovalci, ki so prišlo ne samo iz vseh krajev Slovenije, temveč tudi iz sosednje Hrvaške in Avstrije, so bili z organizacijo prireditve in programom nadvse zadovoljni, kar je lahko0 organizatorjem, ki se že nekaj let trudijo, da bi na različne načine zadovoljili svoje goste le vzpodbuda, da bodo tudi v bodoče gojili tradicijo takih in podobnih prireditev. Istočasno je to tudi dokaz, da si gostje takih prireditev še želijo in da bi se z bolj zavzetim iskanjem podobne prireditve pripravili tudi v drugih turističnih krajih Slovenije.
Slatina Radenci so v prvem poletju letos zabeležili enak obisk gostov kot lani. Toda to ne pomenim da ni bilo večjega zanimanja. Nasprotno: zaradi mnogo premalih zmogljivosti so morali odklanjati prijave gostov tako iz Jugoslavije, kot tudi iz tujine. Vse hotelske in zdraviliške zmogljivosti so namreč povsem zasedene že od začetka maja pa tja do konca septembra. Tako je tudi v teh dneh v Slatini Radenci in nekaterih okoliških krajih težko dobiti prosto sobo, bodisi v hotelu ali pri zasebnikih. Zato prav v teh dneh, gostje tega sicer niso najbolj veseli, pospešeno gradijo nov zdraviliški center in hotel A. kategorije z 250-time posteljami, ki bo lahko služil svojemu namenu že sredi prihodnjega leta. Med novimi pridobitvami pa bo tudi kopališče z fizio in hidro terapijo on pokrit bazen. Tako Slatina Radenci postajajo eno tistih slovenskih zdraviliških in turističnih centrov, ki bodo lahko že prihodnje leto v veliki meri zadovoljili potrebe sodobnega zdraviliškega turizma.- Information:- The town of Radenci: the selection for Miss Radenska 1970, competitors and winners.
