Ansys CFX or Ansys Fluent can be used for calculating and simulating of ...hydrodynamic processes in liquids and gases. The results of such calculations, as a rule, do not have a visual presentation and require interactive visualization. Interactive visualization of engineering calculations is an urgent task in the development of industrial digital twins. This problem can be solved with the help of graphics technology of game engines. This article is about the implementation of the Vector Viz program in Unity. This software system allows data to be represented using a particle system, streamlines, or a contour on a plane. This article also presents the results of computational experiments for a real engineering problem - calculation of the distribution of air flow velocities in the courtyard of a unique high-rise building in the city of Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan.
Securing communication is a comprehensive challenge due to the increasing of threats and attacks to network security. By knowing the various of threats and attacks, we can collect broad data from the ...network, by using honeypot. Implemented honeypot uses low-interaction type that is honeyd and other supporting software such as apache2 and bind9. Based on the research, honeypot is successfully giving responds to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and giving false information such as operation system and open ports which are usually sought by attackers. Log outcome given by honeypot is processed into chart and diagrams which are shown through the network interface by using honeyd-viz software so that the administrator will find it easy to analyze the form of the attacks from the attackers and it also can be used to increase the security of the server.
For increasing machinery availability-condition monitoring is highly desirable so as to reduce consequential damage, and improving efficiency of operation by knowing the traits of machine well in ...advance. Model-based techniques are efficient for inferring warning and are quite useful in predicting industrial machine internal faults. Such machine faults detected in the earlier stage can prevent more severe damage in due course of time and thereby promising an efficient production in industrial field. However, the conventional methods ought to work with distinct motor, and can not be applied effectively for machines with real time damage or effects. In this paper, the Random Forest (RF) classifier has been used for real-time fault monitoring. The advantage of the proposed method is demonstrated in response to accuracy in prediction and graphical user interface with all its functioning running at the backend to eventually display the condition of the machine.
This paper presents the intelligent path planning model of the mobile base agent of SwarmItFIX robot with novel Swing and Dock (SaD) locomotion for material handling/transfer applications. In this ...work, the Markov Decision Process (MDP) path planning problem of SaD agent is solved using two Reinforcement Learning (RL) based dynamic programming methods viz Policy Iteration (PI), and Value Iteration (VI). Being tested with 16 different test cases, both the algorithms return the optimal sequence of steps with reduced makespan for the mobile agents to reach the goal positions positively. The results of both the methods were compared with each other in the section V, and found to be convincing. Hence the proposed control scheme is being implemented in the SwarmItFIX setup available at the University of Genova, Italy.

With OLAP2 Data Cube and CSV2 Data Cube we present two complementary approaches on how to extract and publish statistical data. We also discuss the linking, repair and the visualization of statistical data. As a comprehensive use case, we report on the extraction and publishing on the Web of statistical data describing 10 years of life in Brazil.

This paper is a reflection on findings from an early warning systems research on Chinese and Taiwanese investment in three industrial zones of KZN, viz. Isithebe (Ndondakusuka), Ladysmith-Ezakheni ...and Newcastle-Madadeni/Osizweni. The research was commissioned by Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN), an investment monitoring and aftercare public entity under the KZN provincial Department of Economic Affairs1. This research was undertaken towards the end of 2002-3 as baseline of early warning systems on problems and challenges facing these investments and industries in KZN. This study was undertaken against the backdrop of numerous cases of vagrant breach of occupational health and safety measure that were reported in Bronkhorstspruit and in Newcastle between 2000 and 2002. These cases attracted both national and international news coverage, a specific case in Newcastle was a textile/clothing factory in which the owner used to lock-in women working night shift.
