Artificial intelligence (AI) since it was introduced into dentistry, has become an important and valuable tool in many fields. It was applied in different specialties with different uses, for ...example, in diagnosis of oral cancer, periodontal disease and dental caries, and in the treatment planning and predicting the outcome of orthognathic surgeries. The aim of this comprehensive review is to report on the application and performance of AI models designed for application in the field of endodontics.
PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were searched to collect the most relevant articles using terms, such as AI, endodontics, and dentistry. This review included 56 papers related to AI and its application in endodontics.
The applications of AI were in detecting and diagnosing periapical lesions, assessing root fractures, working length determination, prediction for postoperative pain, studying root canal anatomy and decision-making in endodontics for retreatment. The accuracy of AI in performing these tasks can reach up to 90%.
Artificial intelligence has valuable applications in the field of modern endodontics with promising results. Larger and multicenter data sets can give external validity to the AI models.
In the field of dentistry, AI models are specifically crafted to contribute to the diagnosis of oral diseases, ranging from common issues such as dental caries to more complex conditions like periodontal diseases and oral cancer. AI models can help in diagnosis, treatment planning, and in patient management in endodontics. Along with the modern tools like cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), AI can be a valuable aid to the clinician. How to cite this article: Ahmed ZH, Almuharib AM, Abdulkarim AA,

PurposeThe research paper aims to study dissatisfaction of teleworking employees in Spain during the Covid-19 health pandemic in order to propose three models: sociodemographic profile of the ...teleworking dissatisfied employee; advantages and disadvantages for the teleworking dissatisfied employee and advantages for the teleworking dissatisfied employee.Design/methodology/approachThis study uses official open data obtained from the Spanish National Statistical Institute (INE, 2022) through Decision Trees statistical multivariable models implementing Classification and Regression Trees and Recursive Partitioning and Regression Trees techniques to determine the variables that can influence the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the subjects.FindingsThis investigation offers three models with two sociodemographic profiles of dissatisfied teleworking employee, who is a high/middle-level manager/employee around 45 years old, and she/he lives with the partner. Regarding the most important advantage of teleworking, employees consider “use/saving of time” and as disadvantage “worse organization and coordination of work”.Originality/valueThis research provides empirical evidence with inductive reasoning on understanding the challenges of teleworking dissatisfied employees in Spain not only in turbulent times but also in “normalcy” to improve overall teleworker well-being and accomplish company’s and organization’s long-term objectives for better productivity and effectivity. The study has high practical value due to the integral approach incorporating dissatisfaction as a driver that can trigger negative behaviours towards the organizations and that is seldom addressed in the literature. Additionally, this paper could provide some new ideas for accomplishing “Spain Digital 2025” and “Europe’s Digital Decade: 2030” plans on institutional level.
V prispevku zato najprej predstavimo zgodovinsko ozadje sistematičnega pregleda literature, ga opredelimo kot posebno vrsto raziskave in ga primerjamo s tradicionalnim pregledom literature. Sledita analiza prednosti in pomanjkljivosti ter predstavitev postopka izvedbe tovrstne raziskave. Na koncu kritično ovrednotimo njegovo rabo v praksi in ga umestimo v pedagoško raziskovanje.
Objectives: Working remotely comes with significant pros and cons with different demands for individuals or teams. E-working has been the object of much interest, but there has been little research ...on the statistical difference between its advantages and disadvantages. Research Question: Is there a significant statistical difference between them? Methods: The present research, however, goes one step further and identifies the statistical difference between them. Firstly, we evaluated the positive and negative aspects with a meta-analysis of 20 studies and, secondly, we used a non-parametric test, namely the Wilcoxon Rank Test, for further analysis across pros and cons. Findings: We found that e-working provides more positive than negative ones. A binomial test showed that most studies (more than 50%) mention flexibility, productivity and efficiency, satisfaction and WLB as benefits. Novelty/improvement:E-working is a triple win option. There are many advantages to working remotely, but this method of work does not suit everyone. Our results provide building blocks for a more complete theoretical and practical treatment of e-working for the future. But COVID-19, technology advancement and a connected global world show clearly that e-working will play a crucial role in the future of the workplace. Doi: 10.28991/esj-2021-SPER-02 Full Text: PDF

By joining the European Union, Romania has agreed to adopt the euro currency as soon as the Maastricht criteria has been met. But the timing of the accession depends on the national government and ...the convergence progress. The remaining question is not if Romania will join the eurozone, but when. In order to answer this question, all the benefits and costs associated need to be carefully considered. Also, another important aspect is represented by the general public opinion. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages linked to the euro currency adoption and to understand how willing the population of Romania is to undergo such an important change.
Objective : We investigated different methods of preparation of urinary cytology specimens at facilities in Chiba prefecture. In addition, we also examined the advantages and disadvantages of ...liquid-based cytology (LBC). Study Design : A total of 20 facilities in Chiba prefecture participated in the study. The cooperating facilities included eight general hospitals, six university hospitals, four public hospitals, one cancer hospital, and one inspection center. The current status of urinary cytology specimen preparation was surveyed and opinions on the LBC method were compiled in an MS-Word. The respondents were requested to provide descriptive responses and return the questionnaire by e-mail. Answers were then divided into set items and investigated. Results : All facilities emphasized the importance of “a method of collecting and smearing cells that can be judged with little exfoliation.” The major advantage of LBC reported by each facility was “uniform and abundant specimen preparation,” and the major reported disadvantage was “costly.” Conclusion : The LBC urine cytopathology method has a high cell collection rate, is not dependent on the skill of the examiner, and has high reproducibility. Although it has the disadvantage of being “costly,” we believe that the LBC method should become established as the recommended method in the future in order to establish standardization of sample processing/preparation and cell determination.
Although mobile technology is not yet widely used in schools, and in some cases even prohibited by internal regulations, the truth is that this technology, besides being a hallmark of contemporary ...life, is a powerful tool that challenges teachers and students to innovate in teaching learning practices. This article intends to contribute to the understanding of this phenomenon. The article is part of a project called "Bringing life into the classroom: innovative use of mobile devices in the educational process" (BLIC & CLIC), which aims to diagnose the use of mobile devices in the educational context for the development of digital skills by students and school teachers. This diagnosis will be the first "output" of the project, and the results will allow the (re)design of the future interventions that will respond to the general objectives of the project.
Throughout the centuries, the Muslim countries has evolved and branched out to the world of arts, literature, philosophy, technology, economy, law and ethics, education, even politics inclusive of ...its conflict. Most of what occurred throughout the centuries was documented and used as reference in future studies such as studied done in medical by Ibnu Sina. Many part of the world have form negative perspectives of the Muslim countries especially by correlating negative incidents occurred in some part of the world as practice of all Muslim in the Muslim countries. Living in the Muslim countries has its advantages and disadvantages in which it will be discussed further in this essay. from the discussion below, it can be conclude that any world no matter the religion, the belief, the political standing is bombarded with dilemmas of identifying the advantages and disadvantages of their world to face the challenges of globalization. Distinguishing the advantages or the disadvantages without implicating neither sense of pride or sense of shame has been the practice that is being encouraged by all. The most important impression that the Muslim world can make is through the beauty of tolerance, understanding and the concept of sharing without judging others.
