Con una muestra de 661 individuos, los resultados muestran que el contacto intercultural es predictor de la inteligencia cultural, y que los hombres e individuos que poseen estudios de nivel superior presentan una inteligencia cultural superior. Aquellos que mantienen contacto intercultural con amigos o familiares presentan una inteligencia cultural superior en las dimensiones metacognitivas y motivacionales, y las personas que mantienen un contacto intercultural en un entorno profesional presentan una puntuacion alta en el nivel de las dimensiones cognitivas y de comportamiento. With the aim of observing to what extent intercultural contact is a predictor of cultural intelligence, and the relationship between cultural intelligence, type of intercultural contact, gender and education, descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were conducted using the ANOVA and t-test. With a sample of 661 individuals, results show that intercultural contact is a predictor of cultural intelligence and that men and individuals who possess superior level studies present higher cultural intelligence means. Those who maintain intercultural contact with friends or family present superior cultural intelligence means in metacognitive and motivational dimensions and individuals who maintain an intercultural contact in professional environment present high score at the level of cognitive and behavioral dimensions. Over the past decade, the cultural intelligence construct and its underlying dimensions have been used in a number of studies. Prior research has tested the determinants and outcomes of cultural ...intelligence, using pooled data from different countries and cultures, and has compared the results across contexts. However, these studies often disregarded measurement invariance, which is a necessary requirement for such analyses. We assess the measurement invariance of the commonly used four-dimensional cultural intelligence scale across five countries (China, France, Germany, Turkey, and the U.S.) by means of a composite model logic, using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Our results question the scale's dimensionality concerning China and France, and reveal an item set that is invariant across the other countries. Our findings indicate that researchers should be aware of the potential lack of measurement invariance regarding the standard measurement of cultural intelligence. They should therefore be cautious when comparing the results of cross-country and cross-cultural research.
This study aims to address the hadith of the Qur'an about how to deal with the Holy Qur'an through the interpretation of “Shadows” by Sayyid Qutb. To achieve this, the researcher followed both (the ...inductive approach) by collecting Quranic verses that talk about how to deal with the Holy Qur'an, and then following the words of the author. (Shadows) on these (shadows) verses. This is followed by (the analytical approach) by analyzing those collected verses and finally (the deductive approach) by deducing the issues that appear in those studied verses related to the Qur'an's hadith about how to deal with it. The researcher reached several results, the first: paying attention to the Qur'an's explanation of how to deal with the Qur'an in order for the recitation of the Qur'an to be beneficial, to give its fruits through contemplation, and to be performed as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed it. The second: Among the etiquette of dealing with the Holy Qur'an is purity, which includes all types of purity, then listening and being attentive to it, then seeking refuge before reading it, and finally: recitation when reciting it, which is reading slowly and slowly, without haste.
Cultural intelligence (CQ), the capability by which expatriates, managers, and others involved in cross-cultural interactions function effectively in a globalized world, was introduced in 2002 and ...has garnered wide attention recently. In this paper, we present a detailed and up-to-date review of 142 empirical articles in the CQ research field. We first examine the concept of CQ, including its definition, structure, measurement, and validity. We then review the vast number of empirical studies that investigate the antecedents, development, direct and indirect effects, moderating effects, and aggregated effects of CQ, as well as qualitative studies. The analysis shows several issues that likely will be relevant to the research debate in the near future. These issues include investigations of (1) whether cultural intelligence is universal or culture-specific, (2) why objective measures that assess CQ are lacking, (3) to what extent a person can develop cultural intelligence, (4) to what extent there are dark sides to cultural intelligence, and (5) the role cultural intelligence plays as a predictor of individual and group performance. Addressing these questions may help us reveal the true potential of CQ in contemporary organizations and thus, affirm that the promise of CQ is more than just hype.
Actuellement, le pointage des agents dans les entreprises publiques en RDC et en particulier dans la province du Lualaba reste un des domaines qui nécessitent beaucoup d'attention de la part des ...gestionnaires car le pointage manuel qui se fait jusqu'a ce jour a la direction des recettes du Lualaba, ne permet pas de maximiser la productivité de l'entreprise étant donné que les agents qui constituent la main d'œuvre principale, se présentent au service toujours en retards parfois exagérés par manque d'un mécanisme de contróle de l'heure d'arriver des agents au service suite a un pointage qui se fait sur une fiche oü tous les agents competent personnellement l'heure d'arrivée au service et l'heure de sortie, parfois en remplissant les fausses informations. Ensuite, les sorties des installations de l'entreprise ne sont pas contrôlées, un agent peut sortir autant de fois du lieu de travail sans motif valable et pour une durée non acceptable, ce qui cause l'abandon de poste de plusieurs agents pendant les heures de service, étant donné que le systéme existant ne sait pas déterminer avec exactitude l'heure a laquelle un agent se pointe au bureau et l'heure a laquelle un agent quitte le bureau. Le systéme existant ne sait pas non plus gérer les cas d'absence des agents, car certains agents peuvent signer la présence pour le compte des autres agents absents, ce qui conduit l'entreprise a payer méme les absents, ce qui occasionne un probléme de gestion de paie qui tient en compte le nombre des jours prestés, en handicapant la productivité de l'organisation étant donné que les ressources humaines constituent la main d'œuvre de base de cette direction. Le recours au pointage par badge électronique RFID reste néanmoins une solution efficace pour la résolution des problémes de la gestion de pointage des agents.
tRNA-derived fragments (tRFs) are an emerging category of small non-coding RNAs that are generated from cleavage of mature tRNAs or tRNA precursors. The advance in high-throughput sequencing has ...contributed to the identification of increasing number of tRFs with critical functions in distinct physiological and pathophysiological processes. tRFs can regulate cell viability, differentiation, and homeostasis through multiple mechanisms and are thus considered as critical regulators of human diseases including cancer. In addition, increasing evidence suggest the extracellular tRFs may be utilized as promising diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for cancer liquid biopsy. In this review, we focus on the biogenesis, classification and modification of tRFs, and summarize the multifaceted functions of tRFs with an emphasis on the current research status and perspectives of tRFs in cancer.
