The task of reducing the time for the purchase of essential goods is especially relevant in cases of shortage of free time of buyers. To do this, it is necessary to predict and estimate the time ...required to purchase goods. Traditional approaches based on cartographic systems do not provide estimates and forecasts, but only allow you to build a route to the right place based on an assessment of the traffic situation. For this reason, the problem of developing a more modern model is relevant, taking into account such factors as the infrastructural location of the store, user evaluation, and the workload of the store. The paper proposes an information model that includes such time costs of the buyer as the search for goods, the route to the place of sale of goods, the purchase of goods. The time spent on the purchase of goods is described using elements of queuing theory. Statistical and direct methods for assessing the workload and queues in the store are highlighted. The developed generalized model contains the parameters necessary to estimate the required time using statistical methods which include traffic forecasting based on user ratings and reviews, analysis of the infrastructure location and public video surveillance cameras, public Application Programming Interface of stores, and Internet services. Correction coefficients have been introduced to adjust the estimation of model parameters depending on the infrastructure location of the store and user ratings. A new information model has been formulated that allows taking into account the dependence of the time required to purchase emergency goods on the workload of the store, its infrastructure location, ratings and user reviews. The simulation model is developed in the AnyLogic environment. An example of using the model to estimate the average time spent on the purchase of emergency goods is demonstrated. The simulation results are consistent with the conducted experiment in which purchases of emergency goods were made in various stores in Saint Petersburg. The developed model can be used when searching for the optimal route to the place of sale of essential goods when planning the construction of stores as well as in the areas of marketing and delivery of goods.
This article presents a cartographic system to facilitate cooperative manoeuvres among autonomous vehicles in a well-known environment. The main objective is to design an extended cartographic system ...to help in the navigation of autonomous vehicles. This system has to allow the vehicles not only to access the reference points needed for navigation, but also noticeable information such as the location and type of traffic signals, the proximity to a crossing, the streets en route, etc. To do this, a hierarchical representation of the information has been chosen, where the information has been stored in two levels. The lower level contains the archives with the Universal Traverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates of the points that define the reference segments to follow. The upper level contains a directed graph with the relational database in which streets, crossings, roundabouts and other points of interest are represented. Using this new system it is possible to know when the vehicle approaches a crossing, what other paths arrive at that crossing, and, should there be other vehicles circulating on those paths and arriving at the crossing, which one has the highest priority. The data obtained from the cartographic system is used by the autonomous vehicles for cooperative manoeuvres.
With each passing year, the real and virtual worlds are becoming closer and closer to each other, forming the technical basis of cyber-physical systems. The cyber-physical system combines cybernetic ...and physical spaces, integrating computational and physical processes with the help of sensors and actuators. One of the types of cyber-physical systems, in which the components of the system are able to dynamically change their location, is mobile cyber-physical systems, and mobile devices serve as the computing platform for their implementation. The paper proposes a method for dynamic annotating real-world objects using augmented reality technology. An architecture and cyber-physical system have been developed to dynamically display real-world information on a digital map for mobile devices based on the Android operating system using the Java programming language, Android API, and Google Maps API.
Obrađena su iskustva i razvoj pri oblikovanju vojnih topografsko-kartografskih digitalnih sustava i karata Slovenije, Srbije i Crne Gore, Mađarske, Češke, Belgije, Italije, Austrije i Slovačke. ...Iskustva drugih država u oblikovanju vojnih topografsko-kartografskih sustava i karata mogu se usporediti s hrvatskima. Postupci izrade i osuvremenjivanja vojnih topografskih karata računalno su podržani uz određeni stupanj automatizacije pojedinih faza njihove izrade i/ili osuvremenjivanja.
In a two-system theory for mind-reading, a flexible system (FS) enables full-blown mind-reading, and an efficient system (ES) enables early mind-reading. Efficient processing differs from flexible ...processing in terms of restrictions on the kind of input it can take and the kinds of mental states it can ascribe (output). Thus, systems are not continuous and each relies on different representations: the FS on beliefs and other propositional attitudes, and the ES on belief-like states or registrations. There is a conceptual problem in distinguishing the representations each system operates with. They contend that they can solve this problem by appealing to a characterization of registrations based on signature limits, but this does not work. I suggest a solution to this problem. The difference between registration and belief becomes clearer if each vehicle turns out to be different. I offer some reasons in support of this proposal related to the performance of spontaneous-response false belief tasks.
The basic principles for design of maps and categories of land reclamation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan using GIS technologies is considered. Given characteristics of legends in layout, ...additional maps mortise and text explanations, as well as the category reclamation of soils, landforms, causing an outflow of groundwater, i.e., the natural drainage of the area. Particular attention is paid to display of artificial types of drainage on a map.
