Despite the impressive clustering performance and efficiency in characterizing both the relationship between the data and cluster structure, most existing graph-based multi-view clustering methods ...still have the following drawbacks. They suffer from the expensive time burden due to both the construction of graphs and eigen-decomposition of Laplacian matrix. Moreover, none of them simultaneously considers the similarity of inter-view and similarity of intra-view. In this article, we propose a variance-based de-correlation anchor selection strategy for bipartite construction. The selected anchors not only cover the whole classes but also characterize the intrinsic structure of data. Following that, we present a tensorized bipartite graph learning for multi-view clustering (TBGL). Specifically, TBGL exploits the similarity of inter-view by minimizing the tensor Schatten p -norm, which well exploits both the spatial structure and complementary information embedded in the bipartite graphs of views. We exploit the similarity of intra-view by using the <inline-formula><tex-math notation="LaTeX">\ell _{\text {1,2}}</tex-math> ℓ1,2<inline-graphic xlink:href="gao-ieq1-3187976.gif"/> </inline-formula>-norm minimization regularization and connectivity constraint on each bipartite graph. So the learned graph not only well encodes discriminative information but also has the exact connected components which directly indicates the clusters of data. Moreover, we solve TBGL by an efficient algorithm which is time-economical and has good convergence. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that TBGL is superior to the state-of-the-art methods. SAR interferometry has developed rapidly in recent years and now allows measurements of subtle deformation of the Earth's surface with millimeter accuracy. All state-of-the-art processing methods ...require a precise coherence estimate. However, this estimate is a random variable and biased toward higher values. Up to now, little is published on the Bayesian estimation of the degree of coherence. The objective of the article is to develop empirical Bayesian estimators and to assess their characteristics by simulations. Bayesian estimation is understood as a regularization of the maximum likelihood estimation. The more information is used and the stricter the general prior, the more accurate the estimate will be. Three levels of prior information are developed: (1) an uninformative prior and an informative prior which can be implemented as (2a) less strict prior and (2b) strict prior. The informative priors are described by a single parameter only i.e., the maximum underlaying coherence. The article reports on the bias, the standard deviation and the root-mean-square error of the developed estimators. It was found that all empirical Bayes estimators improve the coherence estimation from small samples and for small underlaying coherences compared to the conventional sample estimator, e.g., a zero underlaying coherence is estimated by the expected a posteriori estimator without additional information with a 33.3% reduced bias using three samples only. Assuming the maximum underlaying coherence is 0.6, the bias is reduced by 51.3% for the strict prior and by 36.6% for the less strict prior. In addition, it was found that the methods work very well even for the extremely small sample size of only two values.

The C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 mixture is considered the most promising alternative gas to SF 6 in high voltage power apparatuses. This paper demonstrates the feasibility of using C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 as an SF 6 ...alternative to switch the current in a 126 kV disconnector. Firstly, the insulation performance of the mixture of C 4 F 7 N and CO 2 was investigated and the appropriate fraction of the C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 gas mixture was found to be 5% by taking the limitation of minimum operating temperature into account. Secondly, the arc interruption capability of C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 and SF 6 were compared. The arcing process of the bus-transfer current interruption was evaluated based on the magneto-hydro-dynamics (MHD) arc model. For the small inductive current interruption, the dielectric recovery properties were analyzed. In particular, the dielectric recovery strength of the C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 during the post-arc phase was calculated based on the streamer inception criterion. Finally, the interruption experiments and type tests further verified the feasibility of the C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 in the disconnector. The investigation in this paper demonstrates that the C 4 F 7 N-CO 2 mixture can be used in the 126 kV disconnector to replace SF 6 .
We report a ReSe 2 passively mode-locked composite YVO 4 /Nd:YVO 4 laser at 1.06 μm, which can stably generate pure continuous-wave mode-locking (CWML) operation at watt-level output. ReSe 2 , as a ...new type of 2-D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), has the features of weak-layered dependence, broadband saturable absorption, low modulation depth and saturation intensity, which is beneficial to initiate robust CWML mechanism via nonlinear saturable absorption. By employing few-layered ReSe 2 as saturable absorber, the nanosecond mode-locked pulses at fundamental repetition rate of 90.37 MHz was obtained experimentally in a composite YVO 4 /Nd:YVO 4 laser. The maximum output power in pure CWML operation was as high as 1.1 W. The high-power CWML laser source shows potential applications in time-resolved spectroscopy, telecommunication and detection.
This study reports and experimentally demonstrates a programmable on-chip photonic processor towards different RF receiver configurations. The Si 3 N 4 processor is built by interconnecting ...independent subunits such as simple and complex Mach-Zehnder interferometers and Ring resonators. The design, fabrication, and characterization of a dedicated chip are described. As a proof of concept, it can be used as a reconfigurable filter with distinct frequency response. More importantly, a thorough RF receiver related passive processor including out-of-band suppression, carrier-sideband routing, channelization filtering, as well as I-Q mixing prior to an optical detection stage. This is effective proof of a programmable integrated processor encompassing most passive filtering and routing subunits for broadband photonic RF receiver.
The mobile edge computing (MEC) heterogeneous network (HetNet) can create a high-performance and low-latency environment for users. However, due to the limitation of small base stations (SBSs) cache ...and wireless backhaul transmission capacity, how to make the service caching and task offloading decisions and reduce the task offloading time are still key issues to be addressed to achieve decent system computing delay performance. To this end, this paper investigates a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided wireless backhaul MEC HetNet system. The joint service caching, task offloading, and resource allocation problem is designed to minimize the total latency. The joint optimization problem is an NP-hard mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem, which is difficult to tackle directly. We decompose the optimization problem into two sub-problems, i.e., the communication and the computing sub-problems, and propose algorithms to solve them. Numerical results show that the proposed schemes can effectively reduce the total delay by 6.79% and 18.29% in wireless backhaul MEC HetNet in comparison with the scheme without RIS and local computing, respectively.
